Chapter 35 Expressing One's Feelings
As soon as Su Maoshi left, Jiang Siyan's expression turned cold, and he was no longer as calm and collected as before.
Jiang Siyan's face was full of malice as he raised his hand and slammed the bowl of porridge in his mother's hand to the ground.
He then smashed everything he could reach onto the ground.
The room was instantly turned into a mess.
"Son, don't do that, be careful of your leg! You just had surgery..."
Jiang Siyan was like a madman, staring at his legs with a terrifying look in his eyes, gritting his teeth.
"Su Ruan, Gu Jinyuan! I'm not finished with you."

"What did you say?" Su Maoshi and Wen Ru looked at Su Xin in shock.
Su Xin blushed. "Mom and Dad, since the Jiang family offered to let me take my sister's place in the marriage, why should we refuse such a good thing?"
You always tell your sister that the Jiang family is rich and powerful, and that marrying into it means becoming a wealthy lady who can enjoy endless riches and honors for the rest of her life.
Why can my sister have it but I can't? Don't you want your own daughter to have a good life?
Wen Ru observed her daughter's expression and asked seriously, "Xiao Xin, tell Mom the truth. Do you like Jiang Siyan?"
Su Xin twisted her fingers, looked down hesitantly, and said, "I didn't..."

Su Xin angrily pulled the blanket over her head and turned away, not wanting to talk to anyone.

"Su Ruan, how can you be so self-righteous after hurting me like this? Don't you have any shame?" Su Xin cursed.
"The police investigation results are in; this was an accident. You're injured and someone is taking care of you, but my husband was injured too."
He's unfamiliar with the place and only has me there, so of course I should prioritize taking care of my husband. What's wrong with that? Su Ruan's reasoning was so logical that Su Xin was speechless.
