Chapter 27 I'm only concerned with saving people, don't force me to take action.

Wen Lu turned off her phone and was about to put it away when it vibrated again. She couldn't resist and tapped the screen to take a look.

"Ling He is fighting and doesn't have time to take care of me. I'm bleeding uncontrollably..."

Looking at those words, Wen Lu glanced at the picture again. Feeling a little guilty, she replied to Wang Jinyu, "Send me your location, I'll come find you."

Standing still, Wen Lu glanced at the mother and daughter who had already entered Tingfeng Tower hand in hand. The two women were happily chatting about the violin and the joy that music brought them, completely ignoring Wen Lu who was lagging behind them.

Wen Lu entered Tingfeng Tower, then turned around and walked out through the side door.

Wen Lu squatted by the roadside, switched to WeChat, and sent a message to Mrs. Wen, saying that she had run into some old friends and was going to have dinner with them, so she wouldn't be able to eat with them.

After receiving Wen Lu's message, Madam Wen did not take it to heart. She simply replied that she knew and told Wen Lu to take care of herself. Then she continued to discuss the violin with Su Yu and ordered a table full of Su Yu's favorite dishes, taking the initiative to befriend Su Yu.

Looking at Su Yu, who was dignified and quiet and resembled her somewhat, she felt that recognizing Su Yu was the right thing to do.

Wen Lu hailed a taxi by the roadside, then showed the taxi driver the location that Wang Jinyu had sent her.

The driver glanced at Wenlu's address and couldn't help but complain, "Young lady, that place is notoriously congested. Why do you want to go there? Are any of your family or friends at the scene of the accident?"

The driver looked at Wen Lu through the rearview mirror. He felt that the girl was very calm and did not seem anxious at all. He did not think that the girl went to the scene of the car accident for her relatives.

As Wen Lu read the messages Wang Jinyu sent, her temples throbbed, and she replied to the driver in a cold tone.

"I have an enemy. I'm afraid he didn't die in the car accident, so I'm hurrying to finish him off."

After Wen Lu finished speaking calmly, the driver looked at the rearview mirror with a strange look. He thought Wen Lu must be joking and looked at Wen Lu with a grin.

"You're quite the funny girl. I'll take you a shortcut so you can hurry up and kill your enemy."

The driver was also a joker, and he caught Wen Lu's joke perfectly, leaving Wen Lu momentarily speechless.

Ten minutes later, the car arrived at a field. Wen Lu frowned and looked at the driver in the driver's seat, asking incredulously.

"Are you sure this is the address I told you to go to?"

"Of course I'm sure. This is the shortcut I was talking about. As long as you walk across the ice and climb over that platform, you'll get there. I'm sure I'm not trying to trick you."

The driver assured Wen Lu with great conviction, then, meeting her skeptical gaze, he spoke again: "Young lady, I'm not lying to you. I heard from my colleague that there was a serious car accident there, and the whole road is blocked. If you go directly there, it will take half an hour to get there, and you'll have to walk. By the time you get there, your enemies will have already been taken away by ambulances."

The driver, worried that Wen Lu wouldn't believe him, even took out his phone and played a voice message for her...

Wen Lu glanced at the surroundings and rubbed her aching temples. She really couldn't understand why saving Wang Jinyu was always so difficult, both last time and this time.

Wen Lu took out fifty yuan from her pocket and threw it on the passenger seat. She got out of the car and, following the driver's instructions, walked across the ice on the river and then struggled to climb up the high platform.

Finally, after coming down from the platform, Wen Lu actually saw the horrific car accident that the driver had described.

The accident itself wasn't actually that serious; it was just two cars colliding. What was truly tragic was that both parties involved in the accident were powerful figures, and one of them seemed rather arrogant.

At the scene of the accident, a black Volkswagen was surrounded by more than a dozen Audis, completely blocking the road.

Wen Lu didn't bother to watch the commotion; she clutched her chest and quickened her pace toward the center of the accident.

"Excuse me, where is the injured person?"

Suddenly, a soft, sweet voice came from the crowd. Dozens of men in black all looked over, wondering how this little girl had gotten in.

They had clearly blocked the road before they came; not even a dog could squeeze through, let alone a person.

"Where did this little girl come from? Get out of here, this is not a place for you."

One of the men in black walked over, looking at the cute and pretty little girl. Although he softened his voice a bit, it still sounded somewhat fierce.

An ordinary person might have been scared away, but Wen Lu was no ordinary person. She looked at the man in black in front of her and said in a light and casual tone, "I asked you where the injured person is? I need to stop the bleeding for the injured person."

Wen Lu wanted to say that Wang Jinyu was a friend, but it seemed that she and Wang Jinyu didn't have a very good relationship. They couldn't really be considered friends. He had tricked her like this, so she didn't want such a scoundrel as a friend.

"You're quite an interesting little girl. Can't you understand human language? I'm telling you, the person you're looking for isn't here."

Seeing that Wen Lu was determined not to leave, the man walked up to her, slowly approached her, and spoke to her word by word, as if worried that she might not understand.

Someone zoomed in on Wen Lu's face, making her already bad mood even worse.

She raised her fair hand and quickly pinched the man's chin. Before the man could react, Wen Lu dislocated his chin.

The man could only stand there with his mouth open, drool dripping down his face.

The man looked at Wen Lu in horror, never expecting that Wen Lu would have such methods. He rested his chin on one hand, wanting to say something.

But his jaw had already dropped, and he couldn't say anything.

Wen Lu's move shocked everyone around him. Those who had originally wanted to stop him all took a step back, making way for Wen Lu.

Wen Lu didn't have time to pay attention to these people. More than twenty minutes had passed since Wang Jinyu sent her the message, and she was afraid that if she delayed any longer, Wang Jinyu would go into shock due to excessive blood loss.

Wen Lu followed his instincts and walked to the black Volkswagen. The first thing he saw was Ling He, who was sitting on the ground, looking disheveled after being beaten.

Just as Wen Lu was about to open the car door, someone suddenly rushed over and tried to stop her before she even touched the door.

Wen Lu looked at the people rushing towards her and said in a cold voice, "I'm here to save people, I don't want to fight you, don't force me."
