Wen Lu walked to Wang Jinyu's side, took out the liquid from the medicine bottle with a syringe, and pushed it into the needle in Wang Jinyu's arm.
As she pushed him, she spoke softly, "Wang Jinyu, be strong. I don't want you to die... I don't want my fortune to be affected by you."
While unconscious, Wang Jinyu heard Wen Lu say that she didn't want him to die. His fingers twitched slightly, but when Wen Lu finished saying that she didn't want him to affect her fortune, his fingers relaxed, as if he had given up struggling.
About twenty minutes later, Wang Xiuxin returned with two large bags of ice. Wen Lu asked Wang Xiuxin to spread the ice on the bed and then slowly moved Wang Jinyu's body onto the ice to cool him down physically.
After more than an hour of work, Wang Jinyu's temperature finally came down. Wen Lu sat on the sofa, feeling completely exhausted. She didn't even want to move her fingers.
"Miss Wen, my fourth master's temperature has gone down. Can we stop using the ice? It's so cold, won't he catch a cold?"
Wang Xiuxin looked at Wang Jinyu with concern. He was afraid that if Wang Jinyu caught a cold while his wound was still healing, it would only make things worse.

Wen Lu forced herself to sit up from the sofa, then picked up the medical kit and walked to Wang Jinyu's side to change his bandages.
Seeing Wen Lu's exhausted appearance, Ling He took the first-aid kit from Wen Lu's hands and spoke gently. He could tell that Wen Lu's body had reached its limit.
"I'll handle the rest. You should go back and rest."
"No need. If you can, help him carry Wang Jinyu to the next room. I can change his dressing myself."
As Wen Lu spoke, she walked towards the next room. When she reached the door and opened it, she realized that there were no bedding on the bed. She hesitated for a moment, then opened the door to the bedroom where she had just slept and said to Wang Xiuxin.
"Carry him to this room, I'll take care of him. If you take care of him, he'll die from being looked after."
Wen Lu glanced at Ling He with annoyance. She really didn't understand how Ling He became a doctor. With his medical skills, she really looked down on him.
Ling He wanted to say something, but seeing Wen Lu's pale face, he didn't say anything more. He then carried Wang Jinyu and Wang Xiuxin to Wen Lu's room.
Wen Lu watched them wipe Wang Jinyu's body, then turned and went into the bathroom...
When Wen Lu came out of the bathroom, only Wang Jinyu was left in the room. She picked up a pair of scissors and walked towards the bed. Without any hesitation, she lifted the blanket.
The next second, a naked Wang Jinyu appeared in front of Wen Lu. Wen Lu quickly pulled the blanket back and pretended to be nonchalant as she covered Wang Jinyu with the blanket again, while she couldn't help but curse Ling He and Wang Xiuxin under her breath.
Didn't those two even think to put a pair of underwear on Wang Jinyu? Does a person in a coma not even have the last vestige of dignity?
Ling He stood by the door and witnessed the scene clearly. For a moment, he didn't know whether he should go in or go out... This... seemed a bit awkward.
Hearing breathing sounds coming from the doorway, Wen Lu turned to look at Ling He, who was standing by the door, holding Wang Jinyu's clothes in his hand.

"Are you here to dress him? If so, hurry up! What are you standing there for?"

Wen Zhengnan returned to the Wen family early in the morning, took out the household registration book and placed it in front of the butler. "Sir, a Mr. Gu has come in. He says he's here to see Miss and wants her to come out to meet him."
"Mr. Gu? Miss?"

Wen Zhengnan was startled when he saw the person walk in from the living room. He quickly ran out, shouting as he ran.
Gu Jingkun stood in the Wen family's courtyard, watching Wen Zhengnan run out, his already cold face growing even colder.
"Is Wen Lu home? I've come to see her."
