Chapter 53 Crisis

Sydney Harbour, the night is as dark as ink.

Port manager Benjamin sat in the security room, happily playing with his mobile phone, not worried about the situation outside at all.

Colleagues would go on patrol every once in a while, and now was his break time, so naturally he could do whatever he wanted.

"Oh my god, Honolulu in the United States is the greatest place in the world, and these idiots have the nerve to question it!"

Looking at the news about Honolulu on his phone, Benjamin was furious. He wanted to get into the phone and tear the mouths of those who were "slandering" Honolulu and the great United States through the Internet cable.

He is a veteran immigrationist who dreams of going to the United States, kissing the president's shoes, and becoming a redneck fighter for freedom.

Although Kangaroo Country is also a developed capitalist country, it is nothing compared to the United States. What's more, Benjamin is a poor farmer from the countryside of Kangaroo Country.

He grew up hearing stories about a poor boy who went to the U.S. to pan for gold and became a billionaire, and his enthusiasm for the U.S. is far greater than that of the average citizen of the Kangaroo Country.

"When I have money, I will definitely immigrate to the United States and become a great American citizen! I will completely get away from this kangaroo country that is filled with the stench of feces!"

The only thing that disappointed Benjamin was that the president he had always admired lost the election, and the new president was an old man who couldn't even remember things clearly.

This made Benjamin quite disappointed with the United States, but it didn't matter. As long as he could enter the United States and smell the sweet air, his life would be worth it.

He yawned and was about to continue his 500-round battle with those trolls who were "slandering" the United States on the Internet when suddenly a "boom" sound came from not far away!

“Boom!”

A deafening sound suddenly sounded in the distance, as if the sky was falling, and then the alarms of the surrounding vehicles began to buzz.

Seeing this situation, Benjamin frowned, put on his safety helmet, took out the electric baton hanging on the wall, and after hesitating for a while, he also took out a pistol from the drawer.

The Kangaroo Country does not completely ban guns, but it is very troublesome to own a gun and the conditions are relatively harsh to restrict people from playing with and buying guns, especially those with high lethality.

Benjamin held the gun tightly in his hand. After hesitating for a moment, he put his baton on his waist, took out the walkie-talkie, changed the channel, and asked, "John, what happened?"

"Holy shit, Benjamin, you'll never guess what happened here!"

The colleague called John's voice was filled with shock and excitement, which made Benjamin feel a little confused. He couldn't help but whispered, "John, what on earth is going on?! Don't let me kick your ass with my boot!"

Every word he spoke sounded like an old foreigner.

"A whale! A whale rushed onto the shore and smashed the dock!"

John didn't want to beat around the bush with Benjamin anymore, so he just opened his mouth and shouted into the intercom: "Wow, I've never seen anything like this in my life. It's so shocking. You must come and see it!"

“Shit!”

Benjamin's expression was terrible as he listened to his colleague's words. He cursed "shit" and quickly asked, "What about the damage at the dock? Was any cargo affected?!"

Compared to John, Benjamin is relatively sober.

He is the dock attendant. If anything goes wrong, his salary will be deducted!

If he didn't have money, how could he go to the United States and become a free citizen?!

This was something Benjamin could not accept. He hung the walkie-talkie around his waist, held a baton in his hand, and immediately trotted towards the scene of the incident at the port.

Benjamin was not thin to begin with. Although he was an administrator on patrol, he had so much fat that he was out of breath when he ran. It took a lot of effort for him to see the whale that had crashed into the port pier with the help of a searchlight.

"OMG!"

After seeing this scene, Benjamin, who was originally worried about the problem of the goods, was suddenly shocked.

The whale was at least sixteen or seventeen meters long!

Sixteen or seventeen meters, many people have no idea.

But if the height of a five- or six-story building is only about sixteen or seventeen meters, I believe many people will have an intuitive understanding.

Such a huge monster was lying in the harbor, blood was gushing out of its abdomen, half of its body was still in the sea, and it seemed that it was no longer alive.

"Benjamin, this way!"

Not far away, John and several other colleagues were waving at Benjamin frantically, motioning him to come over and join them.

Benjamin took a deep breath, walked over slowly, and said to his colleagues, "What's going on? Where did this whale come from?"

"I don't know either."

John waved his hand helplessly. "It rushed out suddenly. Look at the marks. It looks like it was cut by something. Oh my God, could it be a whaling ship? We must make them pay for it."

As John spoke, he approached the whale's body.

He mustered up his courage, bent down and stroked the whale's body, his expression filled with excitement. At the same time, he opened his mouth and shouted to his colleagues not far away: "Hey, friends, take a picture for me!"

Benjamin felt a little speechless, while a nosy colleague had already turned on the camera function of his mobile phone to take a photo of John as a souvenir.

While taking advantage of this opportunity, Benjamin smoked a cigarette, turned around, took out his cell phone and was about to call his boss, but suddenly he heard a scream!

"ah--!!!"

What happened again?!

Benjamin became impatient and turned back. After seeing the scene in front of him, he subconsciously dropped the cigarette in his mouth.

The octopus that appeared out of nowhere was wrapping around John tightly. Its tentacles with strong suction cups were embedded in John's body tightly, and blood was being sucked out visible to the naked eye!

"What the hell is this?!"

Benjamin was frightened by this thing, and in panic he quickly took out the pistol he had taken away. At the moment he took out the gun, a dense group of marine creatures crawled out from the bottom of the sea!

Crabs, octopuses, turtles...

The amphibians living on the seabed almost came out in full force, crawling towards the land in dense crowds!

John, who was entangled by the octopus, had no room to resist and was directly knocked to the ground by the marine creature that came later. After a few screams, his whole body was eaten clean.

"Run, run, run!!!"
