Chapter 13 Calamity

The cold rain relentlessly washed over the streets and houses. In Japan's largest port, a large number of Japanese soldiers stood straight in the cold rain, having imposed a curfew on the port early on, prohibiting anyone from approaching and any ships from appearing nearby.

"How much longer until we arrive?" The Japanese prime minister, who was sitting with his ministers and officers in a small hut by the harbor to take shelter from the rain, glanced anxiously at his watch and said to the secret agent beside him, "Go and ask them right away."

"Hi!" Upon hearing this, Mishu immediately went to the side and gave some instructions to a Japanese soldier using the radio. After a short while, Mishu returned and said to the Japanese prime minister, "Your Excellency, the fleet just sent a message that due to the rain and the strong storm at sea, we may be delayed by half an hour before we arrive at the port."

"There's still half an hour left." The Prime Minister breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this and continued, "Is everything ready for the welcome?"

"Your Excellency Prime Minister, everything is ready," the Mystic said respectfully.

The Japanese prime minister nodded and instructed, "Go and double-check it. Make sure there are no mistakes."

"Hi."

"Knock knock..." A soft knock sounded on the door, and the person in charge of the fleet spoke softly outside Wang Han's cabin: "Mr. Wang Han, we have arrived at the port. His Excellency the Prime Minister has prepared a grand welcoming ceremony for you. Please come with me."

Wang Han opened the door to his cabin and came out, saying with genuine joy, "We've arrived! That's wonderful! Thank you for your hard work."

“It’s my duty, sir, please.” The fleet commander gestured for Wang Han to go first.

As Wang Han stepped out of the battleship's cabin, two Japanese officers who had been waiting immediately opened their black umbrellas to shield him from the rain.

As Wang Han descended the side staircase of the battleship, a dozen or so beautiful Japanese women approached him within a few steps, scattering flower petals from their baskets to welcome him. Wang Han then led the way, walking on a red carpet spread on the ground, his footsteps dappled with petals. Behind him, the officers accompanying him from the battleship followed closely, shielding him with umbrellas. Five meters apart on either side of the red carpet, Japanese soldiers stood ramrod straight in the rain, their postures impeccable despite the heavy rain and cold. They all paid their respects to Wang Han, immediately raising their hands in salute as he passed them.

"Mr. Wang Han, welcome to Japan." Upon seeing Wang Han's arrival, the Japanese Prime Minister immediately led his officers and ministers to warmly greet him, shaking hands with him in a very cordial manner. He then said, "His Majesty the Emperor has been waiting for Mr. Wang Han at the palace for quite some time. Please, Mr. Wang Han, travel with me to the palace. Afterwards, I will arrange for someone to accompany Mr. Wang Han to enjoy the sights of Japan."

"Thank you for your kindness, Prime Minister. This is my first time visiting Japan, and I haven't brought any valuable gifts. This is just a small token of my appreciation. I hope the Prime Minister and the Japanese people won't find it offensive," Wang Han said happily, taking a melon-shaped grenade from his backpack and handing it to the Japanese Prime Minister, while also pulling the pin. (This is an early model; no need to bump your helmet.)

The Japanese prime minister felt that the object in his hand was somewhat familiar. Curious, he looked at it and saw a smoking melon-shaped grenade in his hand. The next second, before he could react, the melon-shaped grenade in his hand suddenly grew larger. The melon-shaped grenade, which was 500 meters in diameter, crushed him and the Japanese ministers and officers behind him to death.

The Japanese officers behind Wang Han stared in horror at the massive hand grenade before them, their faces turning deathly pale. They knew they had not invited back a lucky star from the Japanese Empire, but a terrifying calamity.

"Little devils, do you like my gift?" Wang Han, who had almost exhausted all his strength to enlarge the melon grenade, looked at the Japanese officers with a smile and said, barely holding the enlarged grenade.

"Boom..." The few seconds before the grenade exploded passed in the blink of an eye. Before the Japanese soldiers could even speak, this melon-shaped grenade, which was magnified five thousand times in length, width, and height, and whose volume was even more immense, exploded. (ps: The protagonist's giant weapon doesn't consume stamina based on the magnification factor, but rather on the increased mass after magnification.)

A massive explosion shot straight into the sky, tearing a huge hole in the clouds. The entire Japanese nation trembled violently from this terrifying blast. Ports and surrounding cities were instantly leveled. Terrifying hurricanes and shockwaves swept across everything on the ground, and towering waves thousands of meters high were whipped up by the shockwaves, destroying all ships anchored around the port. If the Japanese soldiers of later generations who had experienced a nuclear explosion were to come here, they would surely be thankful, saying that what they experienced was nothing compared to this; such explosions only existed in experimental predictions.

After the explosion subsided, only a massive crater over five kilometers in diameter remained. Within a radius of twenty-five kilometers, all buildings and trees were leveled, all life was lost, and even further distances were devastated by the shockwave and the hurricane generated by the explosion. Even the rain stopped.

"That's terrifying." Wang Han, whose physical body had been blown to ashes and who had become a soul, was also shocked by the scene after the grenade exploded.

"It's too hot, I can't even revive. The Japanese's largest port has been destroyed. Next, I should bomb Tokyo." Wang Han used the infinite resurrection cheat, but found that his flesh and blood had just appeared out of thin air when it was roasted by the scorching heat left by the explosion. Helpless, he could only drift around. Wang Han bombed the port first in order to destroy the Japanese's largest escape route and warships.

Half an hour later, Wang Han used the infinite resurrection cheat again. Flesh and blood appeared out of thin air on Wang Han's soul body, forming muscle tissue, internal organs, skin, and hair. Within a minute, Wang Han was resurrected from a state devoid of any flesh or blood.

After being resurrected, Wang Han took out the clothes he had prepared beforehand from his backpack and put them on. After assessing the energy consumed by the resurrection, he quickly left. (His stamina was fully restored after the resurrection; what he lacked was soul power.)
