Chapter 187 Seafood Feast

After leaving the Baratie restaurant, Wang Han did not take Kuina and Zeff to a random location. Instead, he directly located Cocoyasi Village, the village where Nami lived, based on the place names he knew.

Wang Han found it too troublesome to travel through space on his own, so he decided to find a navigator. The reason he chose Cocoyasi Village was not because he wanted to find Nami to be his navigator. For Wang Han, the navigator's sailing skills were not important, as long as they could sail the ship. Going to Cocoyasi Village to find a navigator was just to satisfy Wang Han's perverse hobby, otherwise life would be too boring.

In Cocoyasi Village, after asking the villagers, Wang Han led Kuina and Zeff to Nami's house and gestured for Kuina to knock on Nami's door.

"May I ask what brings you here?" Noki asked warily as she opened the door and looked at the three unfamiliar people, two of whom had concealed their faces and were carrying weapons.

"Excuse me, is this Nami's house?" Kuina asked as she stepped forward. Wang Han had told her about the place before she arrived and asked her to come and invite her. Although she didn't know why Wang Han wanted her to come and invite her, Kuina did as he asked.

“This isn’t the place.” Nochiko shook his head upon hearing this. Although Kuina’s voice sounded like a little girl’s, Nochiko remained very wary.

“We asked the villagers, and they said this is the place,” Guina said. “We’ve come to invite her to be our navigator.”

"I'm really sorry, Nami moved away from here a long time ago." Nogiko shook her head regretfully and pointed in the direction of Arlong Paradise, saying, "She moved to Arlong Paradise over there, and she's now a member of the Arlong Pirates. Even if you go there, she can't join you."

Upon hearing this, Guina looked at Wang Han.

“Zeff, the Arlong Pirates are a fishman pirate crew. It’s not a problem to make a seafood feast with fishmen, right?” Wang Han said calmly. “As for Nami, she was a member of the Arlong Pirates, but she wasn’t after the Arlong Pirates disappeared.”

"It seems this guy isn't entirely a bad guy after all," Zeff thought to himself, looking at Wang Han. He believed Wang Han was simply expressing goodwill in his own way. Knowing the Arlong Pirates, he had faith in Wang Han's abilities, so he nodded and said, "As long as it's ingredients, there's no good chef who can't handle it."

Kuina looked at Wang Han with some worry. Given Wang Han's perverse sense of humor, he might actually end up eating a seafood feast with fish-men.

Wang Han said to Ruo Qigao, "Then please lead the way for us."

"The Fishman Pirates are one of the top three pirate crews in the East Blue, and Fishman Dragon is a vicious pirate with a bounty of 17 million." Upon hearing this, Nogiko hesitated before trying to dissuade him.

"It's alright, only strong meat is chewy," Wang Han said nonchalantly. "Just lead the way for us."

"Well, alright then," Ruoqi Gao said helplessly, leading the way towards Dragon Paradise, hoping that the three of them would back down when the time came.

——————————————

"This is Dragon Paradise." Half an hour later, Ruchiko pointed to the massive building in front of him with some disappointment and said, "It's not too late to leave now."

"Zhefu, start a fire and prepare a meal. I'll go get the ingredients." Wang Han tossed the cooking utensils from his backpack to Zhefu, then took his Miao sword and walked into the Dragon Paradise.

"This..." Zhefu stared blankly at the kitchen utensils in front of him. It turned out that Wang Han wasn't just expressing his goodwill in a different way, but really wanted him to cook a seafood feast using the fish-men. This time, he was truly stumped. It wasn't that he couldn't cook it, but that he couldn't get over the mental hurdle.

"I knew this guy was really going to do that," Kuina said through gritted teeth, glancing pitifully at Zeff who had already boasted, and feeling fortunate that her current body wouldn't feel hungry even if she didn't eat anything.

——————————————

Upon entering Dragon Paradise, Wang Han observed the fish-men basking in the sun in the garden, asking no questions about Nami. Instead, he watched them with great interest. Just like in the anime, aside from having limbs like humans, their species were easily identifiable at a glance. Their skin tones varied, and some even had body types that didn't resemble humans at all.

Actually, Wang Han only mentioned the fish-man seafood feast to Ruo Qi Gao. Although he had indeed killed quite a few people, he had never done so himself, and he couldn't get past that mental hurdle. He still wouldn't eat it.

"Who are you?" Wang Han's entry into the Dragon Paradise also attracted the attention of the fishmen, and one of them looked at Wang Han with hostility.

"Who I am doesn't matter. What matters is that I'm here to enjoy a seafood feast." Wang Han looked at the fish-men present, his gaze sweeping over them like a knife, as if he were choosing which part of the meat was the most delicious.

"Here for a seafood feast?" The fishmen exchanged glances, their faces turning terribly grim. The other party had said they were here to eat seafood right in front of them, and their gazes were like knives as they looked at the ingredients, choosing where to cut them. This clearly meant that they were being treated as seafood, as a dish.

"Unforgivable! I'll sunbathe him until he's a dried-up ghost!" the fishman Ah Long, who had been comfortably basking in the sun, roared through gritted teeth.

"Yes, arrest him! We can't let him get away with this!" The other merfolk roared and charged at Wang Han together.

"The freshest ingredients are often made by cutting flesh off a live fish." Wang Han said as he watched the fishmen rushing towards him. Golden transparent chains shot out from his hand, binding all the fishmen before they could get close. Even the fishman Ah Long had no chance to escape when faced with Wang Han's golden transparent chains.

After capturing all the fishmen, Wang Han dragged them out of Dragon Paradise amidst their terrified gazes.

"How is this possible?" Ruoqi Gao looked in disbelief at the fishmen being strung together and dragged out of Ah Long Paradise by the black-armored man. This black-armored man had only been inside for less than a minute, yet he had already captured all the fishmen, including the powerful Ah Long, who was easily captured by Wang Han like lambs. No, lambs would struggle, but they were no match for this black-armored man.

"Phew!" Zhefu breathed a sigh of relief when he heard Wang Han's words transmitted to his mind. Wang Han was giving him a signal.

The fish-men were utterly terrified when they saw the kitchen utensils already prepared outside, and an elderly man wearing a tall white chef's hat who looked like a highly skilled cook waiting nearby. It seemed this black-armored man wasn't just showing contempt for them; he genuinely intended to use them as food. Recalling the black-armored man's words that the freshest ingredients were those cut while still alive, the fish-men were filled with utter horror.

"Zeff, what do you think about how to cook these fishmen? They're a bit weak, but they're certainly chewable," Wang Han said, tossing all the fishmen to Zeff.

"By the way, what's that tattoo?" Wang Han suddenly asked, pointing to the tattoos on Ah Long and the other fishmen.
