Chapter 194: A Comparison

"So it's the Navy from Loguetown." Soon, Wang Han arrived in the air in front of the warship. Looking at the familiar Navy faces on the deck, he asked, "Why are you chasing our ship? We're not pirates."

Upon seeing Wang Han, Tashigi stepped forward and said, "Although we all really want to capture you, since you are not a pirate, our pursuit of you is not malicious. We just hope that you can remove the Devil Fruit power that you have placed on us. Your power has caused us a lot of trouble. Once you remove the power, we will leave."

Upon hearing this, Wang Han finally understood their purpose in pursuing him, something he had almost forgotten. He said, "Couldn't you just find some excuse to arrest me and force me to relinquish my abilities?"

“No.” Tashigi shook her head and said, “Although I really want to do it, we are the Navy, and we will not do such a despicable thing.”

"Although you chased me, at least you didn't make me hate you." Wang Han nodded, removing the sarcastic tone that had been applied to them. He said, "I've already removed the ability. We'll meet again someday."

"That damn bastard." Tashigi tested it in her mind, but didn't say it aloud. She breathed a sigh of relief. Then, Tashigi looked at the other Marines who had been given Wang Han's power. Seeing that they all nodded at her, she immediately said, "Turn around and head back to Loguetown."

On the other side, in Goyawangge, in Windmill Village.

"I don't want to be a Marine. I'm going to be the Pirate King. If I become a Marine, I can't be a pirate anymore." Because he was worried that Wang Han would reappear, Garp decided to take Luffy to the Marine base. However, on the night before they set off, Luffy secretly slipped away. This time, however, Luffy did not hide in the back mountain, but instead entered the town of the Goa Kingdom.

"Luffy!"

At noon, when Garp entered Luffy's room, he looked at the pillow under the blanket, and the veins on his forehead kept throbbing.

"You little brat, don't think you can get away with hiding. When I find you, I'll make you pay!" Garp stormed off toward the back of the mountain.

Time flies, and a month has passed in no time.

Unable to find Luffy, Garp returned to Marine Headquarters in frustration. He could only hope that the powerful black-armored man was merely passing through Windmill Village and wouldn't return. Since the man hadn't committed any evil deeds or killed any innocents, Garp wasn't as worried as he had been initially.

Smoker and his group have also returned to Loguetown, and fortunately, their unauthorized departure from Loguetown has not been investigated for the time being.

Because there were more troublesome things to deal with at Marineford, the headquarters of the Navy.

———————————————

Upon returning to Marineford, Garp immediately spoke with Fleet Admiral Sengoku about Wang Han.

"Is that person really that strong?" Sengoku looked at Garp and had to ask again to confirm. The appearance of a powerful figure capable of easily defeating Garp on the high seas was no small matter.

“Indeed, I did my best to protect my grandson, but I didn’t manage to hurt him at all. Instead, he beat me up, and it seemed like he wasn’t even using his full strength.” Garp nodded solemnly and looked at Sengoku very seriously, saying, “He is the strongest person I have ever met in my life, without exception.”

Sengoku pondered upon hearing this. He knew very well the strength of his old comrade-in-arms, Garp, and the strength of the person Garp was referring to...

"How scary." Kizaru, one of the three admirals of the Navy, sitting to the side, couldn't help but make a frightened expression.

"The strongest person Vice Admiral Garp has ever met in his life." Upon hearing this, Aokiji, one of the three admirals, thought for a moment and said, "Vice Admiral Garp, could you be more specific about his strength? It would be best to make a comparison."

“Comparison.” Upon hearing this, Garp pondered for a moment and said seriously, “With his strength, he could probably single-handedly contend with the entire crew of any of the Four Emperors’ pirate crews.”

“Garp, you mean he’s another Kaido of the Beasts?” Tsuru said.

"No, Kaido is no match for him. His punches are much heavier than Kaido's." Upon hearing this, Garp shook his head without hesitation.

Sengoku said, "Kaido cannot withstand the entire crew of a Yonko pirate crew. Whitebeard could defeat him in a one-on-one fight, let alone the entire Whitebeard Pirates. The other two Yonko pirate crews are also quite strong, otherwise Kaido would not have been captured so many times."

"Could you be more specific?" Akainu, one of the three admirals, asked, "For example, what kind of lineup would be needed to defeat him?"

Upon hearing this, everyone looked at Garp. Akainu's question was crucial. If it were an enemy, what they needed to know most was how to defeat them.

"Defeat them." Upon hearing this, Garp pondered for a moment, glanced at Sengoku, hesitated for a second, and then said, "If we're talking about defeating them, I'm afraid we'd need that pirate crew..."

"Garp, there's a limit to jokes!" Sengoku roared, interrupting Garp. He knew that the pirate crew Garp was referring to was the former Pirate King Roger's crew. While comparing the black-armored man's strength was important, this kind of talk was inappropriate. Couldn't they have used a different method? For example, defeating any of the Four Emperors' pirate crews. But the appearance of a powerful figure who would require the entire crew of a former Pirate King to defeat on the high seas was far more serious than having another Four Emperor; it was undoubtedly a huge blow to the morale and reputation of the Navy.

If Roger were here, he would definitely say, "I'm not going to lead the whole crew to their deaths." Unfortunately, Roger only met Wang Han after he died, and Roger is not in the underworld. Even if someone were to be resurrected from the underworld, they couldn't bring Roger back.
