At the naval base, Smoker, holding the military order in his hand, shouted loudly at the navy officer who came to report: "Headquarters wants me to contact that bastard, to test him, and they want me to be polite. How is that possible? Absolutely not! Whoever wants to go can go. I will absolutely not go."
"Colonel, this is the Marshal's order," the navy officer, who had suffered an undeserved calamity, replied timidly.
"Why me? Couldn't it be another navy from the East China Sea, or a navy from headquarters? I'm contacting the Marshal! I'm requesting a replacement! I'll take the captain's job if I have to!" Smoker cried out in despair. Nothing good ever came of running into that guy; he even expected him to be polite—it was torture!
"Colonel, the Marshal said this is an order you must obey, and you must make contact with the other party before they leave the East China Sea. For this, the Marshal has also awarded you the rank of Senior Colonel." The naval officer who came to deliver the order said with a long face. He didn't want to go at all. He knew the fate of those naval officers who had been dealt with by Wang Han. In just a few days, he had offended most of the people at the Rogge Town naval base.
In fact, Sengoku felt that since Smoker had contacted Wang Han and was still safe and sound, the possibility of him being killed was much lower. In the East Blue, Smoker's rank as a colonel was already very high, making him the most suitable candidate. Outside the East Blue, Smoker would not be suitable.
“I will contact the Marshal, even if it means being demoted, I will still contact him. Even if it means starting from the lowest rank in the navy, I will resolutely refuse,” Smoker said firmly.
……………
Ten minutes later.
"Yes, Marshal, I'll go." Smoker said to the Den Den Mushi with a long face, "I'll set off as soon as possible."
After hanging up the Den Den Mushi, Smoker's furious roar echoed throughout the entire naval branch. "Don't let me find out which bastard told anyone, or I'll make sure he pays the price."
"Colonel Smoker, what's wrong?" Tashigi, who had rushed over upon hearing Smoker's roar, quickly asked.
“We’re finished, completely finished.” Smoker slumped back into his seat and handed the military order to Tashigi. “This is a military order personally issued by the Marshal. I’ve already spoken to the Marshal, and it must be carried out.”
"Must be carried out?" Upon hearing this, Tashigi took the military order from Smoker's hand with a puzzled look. After reading it, Tashigi's face turned pale. This was practically a death sentence for them.
"Let's get ready to go!" Smoker said in a mournful voice, as if he were going to his execution. The things that happened after meeting Wang Han had already traumatized him, and now he had to take the initiative to seek him out. He felt that his life had become completely bleak.
"Can I...can I not go?" Tashigi asked Smoker expectantly.
“I’m afraid that won’t work, Lieutenant Colonel Tashigi,” Smoker said helplessly. “Headquarters has been promoting you exceptionally for several years because they want you to go with them. There’s another person named Tashigi on the other side, who is also a swordsman. They want you to make contact with her and gather information indirectly.”
"No." Tashigi sat down on the floor, and the entire office was filled with an atmosphere of despair from the two of them.

In the East Sea, Wang Han was leisurely basking in the sun as usual, reading a book. Zhefu was still researching new recipes, and Kuina was still practicing her knife skills, but the cloth she used for practice had been replaced with meat and various vegetables. While practicing, she also helped Zhefu prepare the vegetables.
Because of Ruoqi Gao's navigational skills, Wang Han and his group had been wandering in the East China Sea for more than two months. However, everyone continued to do what they were supposed to do. It seemed that apart from Ruoqi Gao's anxiety, no one realized that they should have left the East China Sea long ago.
Actually, they weren't unaware of it; they all knew that Nokigo was a fake Nami. It's just that Wang Han didn't care, so they didn't care either, letting Nokigo sail however she pleased.
"Wang Han, a warship is catching up. It looks like the navy from Rogge Town," Zhefu, who was on lookout, suddenly said to Wang Han.
"Stop the ship, Zeff. While you're at it, exchange the bounties," Wang Han said casually. He tossed over a dozen corpses to Zeff; these were all from pirate crews they had encountered that had bounties.
Not long after the ship stopped, the warships behind it came close. Smoker stood at the bow of the warship, clenched his fists, and forced a smile as he said to Wang Han, who was lying down reading a book, "Hello, sir, Fleet Admiral Sengoku would like to speak with you."
"The Warring States period." Upon hearing this, Wang Han, who was lying down reading, finally became interested and said to Smoker, "Come here."
"Marshal of the Warring States period has found the other side."
Upon hearing this, Smoker gritted his teeth, flew to Wang Han's ship, took out a Den Den Mushi from his pocket, dialed the number, said a few words, and handed it to Wang Han.
"Spit it out, I'm busy," Wang Han said bluntly as he took the Den Den Mushi.
"..." There was a moment of silence on the other end of the Den Den Mushi. After a pause, Sengoku's voice came through: "May I ask who you are? A strong person like you cannot be an unknown person."
"Tch." Wang Han scoffed, "You don't even know who I am, so why did you contact me?"
"..." Sengoku paused for a moment. If he knew, he wouldn't have asked. Sengoku changed the subject: "So what is your purpose in going to sea now?"
"I went out to sea because I was bored! So I wanted to go out to sea for fun," Wang Han said. "It's not like I work at sea. Who goes out to sea when they're busy?"
"..." Upon hearing Wang Han's answer, Sengoku fell silent again. So this guy went to sea because he was bored. But Sengoku wouldn't believe it.
"So what is your purpose?" Sengoku changed the subject again.
"Purpose?" Upon hearing this, Wang Han casually replied, "Of course, it's to have fun and enjoy the scenery on the sea. Otherwise, why would I come to the sea? I might as well stay at home."
