Chapter 306 Rescue Yan Ling Ji

"Wushuang, are you still going to follow Tianze?" After seeing all the illusions created by the planetary wills, Wang Han suddenly asked Wushuang.

"..." Wushuang fell silent upon hearing this. Tianze's actions had indeed greatly displeased him, but he didn't know where else he could go after leaving the Baiyue Group.

“For Yan Lingji’s sake, even if you continue to follow Tianze in the future, I won’t do anything to you,” Wang Han said. “I won’t hold a grudge against you.”

"I..." Wushuang stammered, "I don't know where else I can go?"

“There are plenty of places to go, why worry about not having a place to stay? You haven’t offended the planet’s will,” Wang Han said with a smile. “Let’s go rescue Yan Lingji first, then you can think about it carefully.”

"Okay." Wushuang immediately nodded in agreement. "I'll take you there. I know where Yan Lingji is being held."

“No need, I can find her,” Wang Han said, shaking his head and placing a hand on Wushuang’s shoulder. “And I’ll find her very quickly. Quickly, in the blink of an eye.”

After saying that, Wang Han activated his wall-penetrating ability and pushed the still confused Wushuang forward a step.

"What is this?" In a dark water dungeon, Wushuang stared wide-eyed at everything around her, unable to believe that they had just been in the forest outside Jicheng, and now they were here in the blink of an eye.

"I knew you would come to save me. What kind of ability is this?" A hollow voice rang out behind the two of them.

Upon hearing the sound, Wushuang turned her head in disbelief and looked at Yan Lingji, who was chained up, hardly able to believe her eyes.

"Spatial abilities, covering a thousand miles in a single step." Wang Han said with a smile, "Sorry, I'm a step too late. You're deeply poisoned."

"It's good that you came." Hearing this, Yan Lingji smiled sweetly. "It's so good to see you at the end."

Even in the dim light, Yan Lingji's ashen face was still undeniable.

"Yan Ling Ji, let me help you untie her," Wu Shuang said quickly, reaching out to break the chains binding Yan Ling Ji.

"Clang, rattle." Before Wushuang could even get close, Wang Han had already broken the iron chains binding Yan Lingji.

"The poison you've been given is quite potent, but it's no match for me. My medical skills are quite good too," Wang Han said with a smile. "So, this isn't the end! I'm going to take you to settle accounts with those people!"

"Wang Han, could you..." Yan Lingji said.

"Don't speak, let me heal your poison first." Wang Han interrupted Yan Lingji, and green energy appeared in his hand, covering Yan Lingji's body.

"Is this the healing energy you mentioned?" Looking at the green energy covering her body, and the black poisonous blood emerging from her body under the green energy, and feeling her strength gradually recovering, Yan Lingji asked curiously.

“Yes, this is a type of healing energy, a type of life energy,” Wang Han said, his hands still moving.

"So this is healing energy," Yan Lingji said with enjoyment. "It's a very comfortable energy. It's not as scorching as flames, but it's warm, like, like being held by a mother."

“Life energy is the foundation of life, so of course it feels comfortable,” Wang Han said.

"Who are you?" Just then, a loud shout came from outside the cell. It was the soldiers patrolling the cell who had discovered Wang Han and Wushuang, who had appeared in the cell.

Seeing this, Wang Han used his free hand to slash at the soldiers from a distance, making a knife-like gesture with his palm.

"Pfft pfft pfft..." The invisible sword energy instantly severed the iron pillars of the prison cell, cut down the soldiers, and left a deep sword mark on the wall.

"Gulp..." Upon seeing this, Wushuang couldn't help but swallow.

"Can I see how you use fire to fight?" Yan Lingji asked Wang Han expectantly. Her use of fire was still not powerful or skillful enough, and now that Wang Han was here, she could see for herself how he used fire to fight.

"Hmm." Wang Han nodded and continued treating Yan Lingji.

"Let's go." A few minutes later, Wang Han pulled Yan Lingji up and walked towards the prison door, with Wushuang quickly following behind.

Wang Han gripped the iron-cast prison door with one hand, and flames shot up the door, melting it into a pool of molten iron in the blink of an eye.

Upon exiting the water dungeon, Wang Han waved his hand and launched a fireball, which shot straight toward the second gate of the prison.

With a deafening "BOOM...", the prison's second gate was blown off. The loud noise alerted the prison guards inside.

"Someone has escaped from prison." Soon, a group of prison guards arrived. Upon seeing Yan Lingji and the other two in the corridor, they shouted loudly and rushed towards Wang Han and his companions.

"Boom boom boom..." Seeing this, Wang Han simply raised his hand, shooting out a series of small fireballs. These fireballs were extremely fast, and before the jailers who rushed in could react, they landed on them, causing a series of small explosions. The jailers were all blown to pieces.

Wang Han led Yan Lingji and Yan Lingji toward the prison gate. Every prison guard they encountered was killed by the fireballs in Wang Han's hands.

'Flame compression.' Yan Lingji watched closely as Wang Han condensed fireballs. Although she could now compress fireballs to create explosions, it was nowhere near as easy as Wang Han's. Even the thick prison doors could be easily blasted open.

As they stepped out of the prison gates, they were met by a large number of soldiers who had already surrounded the area. Archers had drawn their bows and aimed their arrows at the three men.

"Bold criminals, daring to escape! Shoot them to death with arrows!" The leading general immediately gave the order upon seeing the three men emerge.

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh..." Upon receiving the order, the archers immediately released their grip on the bowstring. Hundreds of sharp arrows shot towards the three men.

Seeing the incoming arrows, Wang Han simply raised his hand and shot out a fireball the size of a basketball, detonating it in front of the arrows. The blast wave blew all the arrows away.

"Keep firing arrows," the general commanded.

"Hmph..." Wang Han snorted lightly. Before the soldiers could draw their bows again, he didn't lower his raised hand, but instead opened his palm. A terrifying pillar of fire, as thick as a water bucket, shot out from Wang Han's palm. With a horizontal wave of his hand, he set all the soldiers, including the generals, ablaze, burning them all to death in a matter of moments.

"So amazing..." Wushuang stared blankly at the burning corpse on the ground.

“Let’s go,” Wang Han said, leading the two forward. Wherever they went, the flames spontaneously parted to create a path.

"Where do we go next?" Yan Lingji asked Wang Han after she was finally released from prison.

"Blood-Clad Fortress," Wang Han said softly, waving his hand behind him. Behind the three of them, a raging fire suddenly erupted, engulfing the entire prison and even turning the sky red.

Yan Lingji turned her head and was stunned. She never expected that their fire-based abilities could be used to such an extent. This was simply a natural disaster.
