"The day has finally come."
Three months later, on the American continent. On this continent, which had been ravaged by parasitic souls to the point where no large life forms remained, Wang Han inscribed the mark of the Qin Kingdom on a wasteland and then unleashed his full power.
"Will it come?" The voice of the planet's will rang in Wang Han's ears.
“Yes, this is the only chance the parasitic soul has besides leaving. If it could leave, it would have left long ago, so it will definitely come,” Wang Han said, his radar constantly scanning the entire Earth, monitoring the movements of the remaining parasitic souls. In Wang Han's radar display, the remaining parasitic souls around the world seemed to have gone mad, frantically rushing towards this location from all corners of the globe.
"Woo..." Before long, the first parasitic soul arrived. Facing Wang Han, who was unleashing his full power, the parasitic soul possessing the giant wolf showed no fear. It howled and charged towards Wang Han.
"Clang..." A flash of white light tinged with red appeared and disappeared in the air.
"Pfft..." The next moment, the giant wolf that pounced on Wang Han was split in two, and the two halves of its body fell to the ground behind Wang Han.
Wang Han ignored the corpse behind him, slowly sheathed his sword, and continued to wait. A fierce battle was about to begin. This parasitic soul was determined to wear him down as much as possible first.
"Roar..." With the first giant wolf leading the way, more and more parasitic souls arrived. These parasitic souls didn't rest after arriving; they immediately charged towards Wang Han, giving him very little time to rest. As the morning sun gradually moved towards its zenith, more and more parasitic souls were slain by Wang Han. The corpses of various animals, sea beasts, and humans had already piled up into a small mountain at Wang Han's feet. Green blood corroded the ground, creating small grooves that flowed within. The parasitic souls that arrived here were also becoming increasingly powerful.
"Do you need me to mobilize the primordial energy of heaven and earth to replenish you?" said the planetary will that had been accompanying Wang Han, seeing that Wang Han could no longer kill a parasitic soul with one strike.
“Not yet,” Wang Han said. Although his stamina had been considerably depleted, Wang Han did not immediately accept the planetary will's suggestion. His stamina recovered quickly, and besides, Wang Han planned to die once and be resurrected at his peak condition.
"Hiss..." Just as Wang Han was conversing with the planet's will, three enormous flying pythons swooped down from the sky towards him.
The three giant pythons quickly rushed in front of Wang Han, their foul-smelling, blood-red mouths wide open, as if they wanted to swallow him whole.
"Shrink." Wang Han's gaze shifted slightly, and in the next moment, the three giant pythons, each tens of meters long, had been reduced to small snakes as thin as chopsticks. Wang Han then severed them along with the parasitic souls that had possessed them with a single stroke.
"Whoosh..." Having just severed the three small snakes, Wang Han lowered his head to avoid a black beam of light that swept past overhead.
"Twenty times the speed." Before the black light disappeared, Wang Han's knife caught up with it like lightning, flashing past it. It was a small hummingbird, but at that terrifying speed, it was far more threatening than the giant python.
"Roar..." Another tiger-shaped parasitic soul appeared, its size already as large as a house, charging from the foot of the mountain of corpses toward Wang Han, who was standing on top of the mountain of corpses, with a ferocious aura.
In the sky, a giant eagle swooped down at Wang Han at the same time, choosing to attack him almost simultaneously. Their goal was to exhaust Wang Han as much as possible. After they died, their energy would eventually be transferred to a parasitic soul. But Wang Han was different; he would only become more and more exhausted.
"Hmph, multiply, accelerate." Looking at the two parasitic souls attacking him from above and below, Wang Han snorted coldly, and a Miao knife appeared in his other hand.
"Multiply, accelerate." Wang Han held the Bloodthirsty Blade in one hand and the Miao Blade in the other. With the acceleration activated, two terrifying blade energies were simultaneously swung up and down, instantly sweeping past the giant eagle and the giant tiger.
"Pfft pfft..." Green blood, along with the corpse, was separated and sprayed to both sides. The giant eagle in the sky and the giant tiger under the mountain of corpses were simultaneously cut in half by the swift blade energy.
…………
The sun slowly set in the west, its afterglow bathing the plain. With fewer than fifty parasitic souls remaining, their strength had already rivaled that of the Night Owl. Wang Han had to use a power-up of more than fifty times to continue instantly killing these last remaining parasitic souls. As the number of these parasitic souls dwindled, their strength continued to increase exponentially, and Wang Han began to tire.
......
Finally, only eight of these parasitic souls remained. Wang Han's 200x speed boost could only barely keep pace with them. Wang Han cursed inwardly; the difference between planetary and stellar levels was enormous.
"It seems I underestimated you. Your strength is indeed formidable, and your ability to sustain combat has exceeded my expectations. The fact that you've managed to hold out until now is surprising. If I hadn't exhausted you beforehand, the outcome of our battle would have been uncertain." The remaining eight parasitic souls surrounded the exhausted Wang Han. Their own deaths allowed them to share their energy with the remaining parasitic souls. Although their numbers were decreasing, their own strength not only remained undiminished but actually increased. Wang Han, on the other hand, had been relentlessly killing parasitic souls, constantly weakening them. His ability to fight this far wasn't simply a matter of eliminating the remaining parasitic souls.
"Do you need me to replenish it?" the planetary will asked again.
“No need.” Wang Han said breathlessly, still rejecting the planetary will’s proposal.
