Two wooden houses in the woods some distance away.
"What could be the reason?" Wang Han looked at the three immobile zombies and the zombie he had trampled to death in front of him, and observed them carefully for a while. Unfortunately, Wang Han couldn't be sure what the reason was. However, Wang Han had some guesses in his mind. Although they were all infected with corpse poison, the difference between these three and the jumping zombies should be related to the strength of the biting zombies. More subtle details would require dissection and testing with instruments in the Divine Might Space to determine the reason.
After studying the situation for a while, Wang Han casually set fire to a pile of trees, took out four corpses from his backpack space, and threw them in, creating the illusion of burning zombies. After leaving a farewell letter, he took the zombies and walking corpses and disappeared into the Divine Might Space.

"It looks like he burned the zombies. Maybe he's seen the error of his ways." Looking at the firelight in the distant forest, Monk Ikkyu said expectantly.
"I hope so." Upon hearing this, Daoist Four Eyes said, but he still had some disbelief in his heart. Although he had only known Wang Han for a short time and did not know him very well, he knew that the decisions made by every strong person would not be easily changed.

"Senior Brother!" Just then, Daoist Qianhe followed the footprints of the walking corpse and arrived. He paused for a moment when he saw the dilapidated house of Simu's family. "Your house?"
"He encountered zombies and ended up like this during the fight." Four Eyes shook his head and sighed. Seeing that Daoist Qianhe's face was pale, he quickly asked, "Junior Brother, what happened to you?"
"Alas!" Upon hearing this, Daoist Qianhe sighed. "It's a long story. The zombie I was escorting escaped, and all four of my disciples died. I almost lost my life myself, but was saved by a master. I tracked it down here after the three hopping zombies it bit. It seems that the zombie and those three hopping zombies have come here. Are you all alright?"
"Jumping corpse?" Upon hearing this, the Four-Eyed Taoist was stunned, and a flash of inspiration crossed his mind.
"Senior brother, what's wrong?" Qianhe Daoren and Yixiu asked.
“Those three don’t seem to be jumping corpses.” Four-Eyed Taoist exclaimed, “Judging from their movements and actions when they came, they are not as stiff as jumping corpses, and they clearly have some intelligence.”
After speaking, Si Mu and Monk Yi Xiu exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with deep worry. Wang Han had obviously discovered the problem with the three jumping corpses, which was why he stopped Si Mu and took away the zombie's corpse and the three jumping corpses. That zombie and those three jumping corpses were different from the other zombies and jumping corpses.
"Senior brother, what happened? Where are the zombies and jumping corpses?" Seeing the worried expressions on Simu and Monk Yixiu's faces, Daoist Qianhe knew it was bad news; the zombies had likely already escaped.
"The zombies...the zombies have all been eliminated." The Four-Eyed Taoist pointed to a cluster of firelight in the distant mountains, hesitated for a moment, and then said. He still didn't reveal Wang Han's matter.
"Now that they've been eliminated, what are you still worried about, Senior Brother?" Daoist Qianhe asked, puzzled.
“This…” Upon hearing this, Si Mu hesitated for a moment.
"Help!"
"Oh oh woo..." Just then, Jingjing's cry for help suddenly rang out from the house behind them, followed by howls just like the zombies had just been heard.
"Oh no, we forgot there's someone inside who got bitten by a zombie." Upon hearing the sound, Simu and Monk Yixiu exclaimed in unison and rushed into the house.
Seeing this, Daoist Qianhe also ran inside.
The group entered the house and found that Steward Wu, who had escaped earlier, had turned into a zombie.
"Just as I thought," said the Four-Eyed Taoist. This jumping corpse is different from ordinary jumping corpses; not only is it much more agile, but it also clearly possesses intelligence.
"Manager Wu, alas! Why did you bring this upon yourself and drag others down with you?" Seeing that Manager Wu had turned into a zombie and was now chasing after Jingjing who was holding Little Prince, Daoist Qianhe sighed, took out his peach wood sword, and prepared to rush forward.
"Junior brother, leave it to us. We can't kill this guy yet." Si Mu suddenly stopped Qianhe Daoist.
"Four Eyes, do you mean...?" Ikkyu looked at Four Eyes in surprise.
“This jumping corpse is very special; we need to learn more about it,” Four Eyes said earnestly.
"Hmm." Monk Yixiu nodded and rushed forward with Daoist Simu. They didn't know what Wang Han would do with these strange jumping corpses, but they could capture one to learn more, just in case.
“But these are zombies, they have no humanity,” Chizuru said immediately, hoping to dissuade the two.
“We know that, but to avoid the potential bloodshed in the future, we must capture someone who is still able to move,” Four Eyes said firmly.
The two of them worked together and quickly caught the weak zombie, tying him up tightly.
Exhausted, Daoist Qianhe stayed at Simu's house for the time being, while Wang Han did not return home overnight, leading the two to guess that Wang Han had probably already left.
——————————————
The next day, after Daoist Qianhe left, Daoist Simu and Monk Yixiu immediately found the place where Wang Han had burned the zombies the night before.
The two found Wang Han's farewell letter as soon as they arrived. After reading it, they exchanged a glance. "Wang Han is gone."
"I'll go check if the zombies have been burned," Four Eyes said, rummaging through the ashes of the fire.
"The ashes are not the same as those of zombies. Zombie bones are blackened because they are soaked in corpse poison, but these are not blackened at all. What was burned was not a zombie, but the corpse of someone else." The Four-Eyed Taoist searched through the fire remnants for a while, then shook his head and said to the monk Yixiu.
