Chapter 367 The Monster Forest

The next morning, just as dawn broke, the teachers gradually rose and began preparations with their respective teams. The students unharnessed their horses and loaded them with the supplies prepared the night before (mainly medicine and dry rations). Finally, after the vice-principal gave the order to depart, everyone led their horses and set off in a grand procession.

After walking for two hours, everyone finally arrived at the Monster Forest. After the vice-dean reiterated the precautions to take in the Monster Forest, the teams finally began to enter the Monster Forest.

The environment of this monster forest is similar to that of a primeval forest. The ground is covered with moss and layers of decaying leaves and dead branches. The surrounding trees are tall and dense, with almost no roads. The moisture in the forest is very heavy, and you need to climb to the top of a tree to see the sun to find your way.

Upon entering the Monster Forest, the summoners in each team summoned all their summoned beasts. Angie's only summoned beasts were the two-headed wolf cub given to her by Wang Han, while Vivian's summoned beasts were the two-headed wolf cub and the wild boar given to her by Wang Han. To Wang Han's surprise, besides the two of them, there was another summoner in their team, an eleven or twelve-year-old boy. His summoned beasts were a young striped tiger, a half-human-sized armored beast (similar to a rhinoceros), and an iron-trenched boar. The iron-trenched boar resembled a trenched boar, covered in sharp spikes. Wang Han had seen it in Angie's low-level monster encyclopedia; the spikes on an iron-trenched boar could be shot out. The backstabs shot by an adult iron-trenched boar were comparable to arrows fired by an ordinary soldier. Moreover, both the armored beast and the iron-trenched boar were in their juvenile stages.

Soon after entering the Monster Forest, the number of low-level monsters such as magic rabbits began to increase, and the academy's teams gradually began to disperse, as they could not hunt enough prey to share if they stayed together.

As the team ventured deeper into the Monster Forest, the academy's teams were scattered on the outermost edge of the forest. However, they still frequently encountered other teams, and the number of monsters around them increased, but they were only low-level monsters that Angie and the others could easily deal with. They didn't even need everyone to cooperate; at most, two or three students could handle them.

The two two-headed wolf cubs were the most eye-catching. Although they had not yet awakened their attributes, their naturally powerful bloodlines gave them great strength and bite force. So far, there was no single magical beast they had encountered that they could not defeat on their own. They were having a great time along the way, and the female warrior teacher leading the team judged that the two two-headed wolf cubs had already barely reached the strength of a third-tier magical beast.

Night fell quickly. The team found a relatively spacious place to set up camp, tied their horses to the center of the camp, lit a bonfire, and began to eat their rations.

"Wang Han, here." Anqi handed Wang Han a pot of water and a flatbread, saying, "It's been several days. Release your summoned beasts and let them hunt. They must be starving."

(The others also know that Wang Han possesses special magic that allows him to understand them. They just don't understand their language. The language problem will be solved in the next chapter.)

Upon hearing this, everyone looked at Wang Han, wanting to see what kind of summoned beasts he had. It was understandable that he hadn't released any summoned beasts before, since their appearance would scare away the surrounding magical beasts. However, now that they had set up camp, scaring away the surrounding magical beasts would be even better.

Wang Han nodded and opened the Divine Might Space.

"Woo woo..." Amid everyone's expectant gazes, five enormous two-headed wolves, each five meters tall, leaped out of the Divine Might Space and appeared in the Demon Beast Forest. As soon as they appeared, the five two-headed wolves roared to the sky together.

"Five heads..." The entire team was stunned when they saw the five two-headed wolves that appeared. They never expected that Wang Han's summoned beasts would be five two-headed wolves. Even Vivian and Angie were stunned. At first, they only thought that Wang Han's two-headed wolves were a male and a female.

Just as everyone was looking on with envy at the five two-headed wolves, a rhinoceros's cry rang out from the soon-to-close Divine Might Space, its voice sounding somewhat aggrieved.

Upon hearing this cry, the five-headed two-headed wolf, which had been so arrogant under the envious gazes of the team members, immediately wilted, lay down on the ground, and stopped howling.

Upon hearing the cry, Wang Han's expression shifted slightly. However, he didn't respond to the call and summon it. Instead, he used his spiritual sense to probe the creature in his divine space, comforting it. Wang Han knew that suddenly summoning it would likely throw the entire Demon Beast Forest into chaos. After all, it was his first pet and his mount.

"Wang Han, aren't you going to summon your other summoned beasts?" Anqi and the others heard the shout and asked, while the others looked at Wang Han.

Wang Han shook his head at An Qi, looked at the flatbread in his hand, and instructed the five two-headed wolves: "Go hunt by yourselves, and come back on your own after you hunt. Remember to bring me food, alive."

The two-headed wolves nodded, got up, and disappeared into the forest with a few leaps.

“Wang Han, you should summon the other summoned beasts. Their bond will weaken if they go hungry.” Seeing Wang Han looking at the flatbread in his hand, An Qi assumed he was worried about feeding the summoned beasts and advised, “You can’t let the summoned beasts break their contracts with you because of me! Let’s think of a solution together.”

“Yes, Wang Han, you should summon them!” Vivian also advised, “There will definitely be a way to solve the food problem.”

Everyone else looked at Wang Han expectantly, curious about what kind of creature the summoned beast he hadn't summoned was. Even the five two-headed wolves were limp after hearing the howl, so it must be a very powerful summoned beast, possibly even a level nine or higher magical beast. They were also eager to see it for themselves.

(Warcraft is divided into twelve tiers, corresponding to ordinary people to Grand Magisters.)

“Anqi, there’s a reason why Wang Han doesn’t summon magical beasts. The appearance of powerful magical beasts here would cause a riot among the low-level magical beasts in the vicinity,” the teacher leading the group told everyone.

“That magical beast is extremely powerful.” The boy in the group, who rarely spoke, comforted the frightened rhinoceros calf beside him. “My summoned beast told me that it is at least an adult magical beast wielder. If it appears, magical beasts within a radius of tens of kilometers will riot.”

"An adult monster summoner?" Upon hearing this, the teacher exclaimed in horror, and the way he looked at Wang Han had changed. Wang Han was so young, yet he was already a summoner.

"What is a Beastmaster?" The others asked in confusion, as they had never heard of this class before.

"Teacher, what is a Beastmaster?" a student asked the female teacher curiously.

"It's nothing," the teacher shook her head.
