A soldier reported to Cao Cao, who was chatting with Xi Zhicai: "My lord, the soldiers guarding the city just sent someone to report that three people have arrived outside the city gate. One of them claims to be Zhang Shan, and the other is Wang Han, who claims to be his lord. They are riding a strange beast with white armor and say they are looking for Lord Xi Zhicai."
"Pfft..." Upon hearing this, Xi Zhicai, who was chatting with Cao Cao, spat out the tea he had just drunk. He never expected that Wang Han would actually come.
"Cough cough..." Xi Zhicai, who had been coughing incessantly from choking on the tea, calmed himself down and stood up to say to Cao Cao, "General Cao, please excuse me."
“Brother Zhicai, I have long admired your lord.” Cao Cao stood up and said, “Why don’t we go together? I hope you can introduce us.”
"General Cao, please." Upon hearing this, Xi Zhicai extended his hand and said. Cao Cao knew that Wang Han was his lord, so there was nothing to hide.
"Please." After saying that, the two men led several soldiers and hurried toward the city gate, each with their own thoughts.
"Why has our lord come to Sishui Pass this time? Is it because Luoyang has been captured and the allied forces are still not here, or has something gone wrong with the plan?" On the way, Xi Zhicai wondered about Wang Han's purpose in coming to Sishui Pass. What worried him most was that the plan had changed.
"Xi Zhicai's lord, Wang Han, who exactly is he? Is he really as legendary as the rumors suggest, capable of easily wielding a pair of 12,000-jin hammers and single-handedly conquering a city? Or does he possess some special skill?" Cao Cao, meanwhile, was pondering what kind of person Wang Han was. However, he didn't consider Wang Han to be a mere brute. Someone who could become the lord of an outstanding strategist like Xi Zhicai could certainly not be a brute.
When the two arrived at the city gate, Xi Zhicai confirmed on the city tower that it was indeed Wang Han, and said to Cao Cao, "It is indeed my lord."
"Open the city gates quickly!" Upon hearing this, Cao Cao immediately ordered his soldiers to open the city gates. The two then hurriedly descended the city wall together.
After the city gates opened, Xi Zhicai saw Wang Han entering from outside the city and quickly ran over, saying, "My lord, you have been waiting for a long time."
"Not long," Wang Han said with a smile. "You've been working hard lately."
"It's not hard work for me, it's my lord who has worked hard," Xi Zhicai quickly said upon hearing this. In his opinion, Wang Han had also put in a lot of effort and thought to conquer Hulao Pass and Sishui Pass, and even Luoyang.
Xi Zhicai introduced Wang Han: "My lord, this is Cao Cao, General Cao."
Xi Zhicai then introduced Cao Cao, saying, "General Cao, this is my lord, Wang Han."
“Mr. Wang Han, I have long admired your name. I have often heard my friend Zhicai mention you, saying that you are the greatest hero in the world. I have long admired you and have been hoping to meet you.” Cao Cao said, “Today, I see that you are indeed a man of great stature.”
"General Cao, you flatter me." Wang Han said with a smile, "I have long heard that General Cao is a rare hero in the world, and even has the courage to assassinate Dong Zhuo alone. Meeting you today, I can see that seeing is believing."
"Hahaha..." Cao Cao said with a modest smile, "Compared to Mr. Wang Han, who single-handedly broke through Hulao Pass and Sishui Pass, Cao Cao is no hero. You are the real hero."
Wang Han said with a smile, "Whether it's a big deal or a small matter, aren't you a hero? Besides, your assassination attempt on Dong Zhuo was no small matter."
'I didn't expect my lord to be so good at praising people,' Xi Zhicai thought to himself as he watched the two of them complimenting each other.
"Mr. Wang Han, please," Cao Cao said. "Come to my camp for a drink."
“Please…” Wang Han gestured for him to come in.

"Please, don't take my granddaughter away. She's my only family. Please." Wang Han and his companions made their way towards Cao Cao's camp. Along the way, they saw an old man clinging to the leg of a richly dressed young man, pleading desperately. Beside him, several servants were grabbing a young girl, about to forcibly drag her away.
"Get out of the way. If you don't have the money to pay back, then your granddaughter will have to settle the debt." The young man kicked the old man away and cursed, "You think my money is so easy to borrow?"
"I've already paid back the fifty coins I borrowed from you, plus five coins in interest, making a total of fifty-five coins," the old man said, weeping.
“Fifty-five.” Upon hearing this, the young man took out a piece of paper and said, “Look carefully, the contract says that you borrow ten coins plus one, with interest calculated daily, compounded daily. After a month, it will be eight hundred and seventy-two coins. The odd amount is not included, so you will have to pay back eight hundred and seventy coins. You also put your fingerprint on it.”
The old man cried and said, "You didn't tell me that the interest would be calculated daily. I only borrowed fifty coins, and even with the interest, it would only be fifty-five coins a month. Eight hundred and seventy coins in total, how can I possibly repay such an old man with such interest?"
Seeing this, Wang Han frowned. He instructed Zhang Shan, "Ask what happened."
"Yes, my lord," Zhang Shan replied. He quickly stepped forward and asked, "What happened?"
"I'm collecting debts, what's it to you?" the young man cursed when he saw Zhang Shan's plain clothes.
"How dare you talk like that?" Zhang Shan was about to get angry when he heard this.
"What exactly happened?" Cao Cao asked, stopping Zhang Shan as he saw this.
“General, paying back debts is a matter of course, clearly written in black and white,” the young man said, seeing Cao Cao's luxurious attire and the soldiers accompanying him. He dared to do this because of the contract; it was a matter of course, and even the government had to recognize it.
The old man cried and said, "Generals, you must help me! I only borrowed fifty five-zhu coins from them, but in just over a month, they want me to repay eight hundred and seventy coins. How can I possibly repay that?"
