"There really is a tiger on Jingyang Ridge." On the other side, the drunken Wu Song hesitated when he saw the official notice posted on the iron tree in front of him. At first, he didn't believe the innkeeper's words, thinking it was just a way to scare away customers and attract business, but now that he saw the official notice, he knew it was true.
"If I go back like this, won't I be laughed to death by that innkeeper's mistress?" After taking two steps back, Wu Song hesitated for a moment, but ultimately, his thick skin made him decide to go up Jingyang Ridge, wanting to get there as quickly as possible. "Roar..." Seeing that Wu Song had started to walk, the tiger spirit knew that Wu Song was almost sober. Even if he wasn't sober, it would still have to make a move, otherwise it wouldn't be able to explain itself if Wu Song left. So it roared loudly to remind Wu Song, and quickly jumped out from behind the bushes where it was hiding, rushing straight towards Wu Song.
"Tiger!" Hearing the tiger's roar, Wu Song immediately gripped his staff and turned to be on guard. His gaze fell upon the direction from which the sound came. What he saw was alarming: a gigantic tiger, two meters tall and over six meters long, was rushing toward him at breakneck speed. Instantly, all the alcohol in Wu Song's body turned into cold sweat and poured from his body. Without hesitation, Wu Song turned tail and ran.
If it were an ordinary tiger, he might have dared to fight it to the death. But was this an ordinary tiger? It was four or five times larger than an average tiger, and so ferocious. It was obvious he would never win. If it were before, fueled by alcohol, Wu Song might have dared to fight it. Now that he was sober, it would be foolish not to run.
"Damn it, that kid got away!" The tiger demon panicked when he saw Wu Song take off running. He sped up, no longer bothering to avoid the surrounding trees, and smashed through them to chase after Wu Song. If Wu Song escaped, the mission wouldn't be completed, and he wouldn't have a good time.
"Damn, that's amazing!" Wu Song saw the terrifying tiger smashing through trees and chasing after him without even breaking them, and its strength was so great that his fists and cudgel were useless. He was afraid that if he were hit even once, he would be dead. So he used all his strength and ran even faster.
However, no matter how fast Wu Song was, he couldn't outrun the tiger demon. Before long, the tiger demon caught up with Wu Song and leaped in front of him, blocking his path.
Unfortunately, Wu Song was only focused on escaping. When he saw the tiger demon blocking his way, he immediately turned and ran in another direction. Upon seeing this, the tiger demon immediately gave chase.
"Crack, crack..." Wu Song deliberately ran through areas with many trees. The tiger demon, being large, became less agile in such dense foliage and couldn't catch the nimble Wu Song for a while. Enraged, the tiger demon chased after him, constantly snapping the trees that blocked its path.
