Upon reaching the center of the main hall, the four men bowed to Emperor Huizong of Song, who sat high in the center of the hall, using the etiquette of their respective countries, and said in unison, "Greetings to His Majesty the Emperor of the Great Song Dynasty, and may His Majesty the Emperor of the Great Song Dynasty live a long and prosperous life."
"No need for formalities," Emperor Huizong said sternly, then asked, "Is the tribute you have brought sufficient?"
"The tribute is exactly as listed by the Great Song Dynasty, not a single item is missing, and it is all sufficient," said Yelü Yerong, the Liao envoy, first. He then asked, "Your Majesty the Emperor of the Great Song Dynasty, I wonder if we will have the honor of seeing the esteemed General Shenwei of the Great Song? His Majesty the Emperor of Liao has long admired the General Shenwei and has instructed me to witness his abilities before returning home."
"His Majesty the Emperor of Dali has long admired him, and therefore he has instructed me to meet General Shenwei," the Dali envoy continued.
“We are the same,” the envoys from Tibet and Goryeo said, glancing at Wang Han, who was sitting next to Emperor Huizong of Song.
"Witness my abilities? Are you qualified?" The envoys had barely finished speaking when Wang Han appeared before them in an instant, his eyes beneath the mask radiating a terrifying, hellish pressure as he looked at the four envoys.
"We, we..." Feeling the terrifying pressure in Wang Han's gaze, the envoys stammered as if they were standing before the gates of hell, too frightened to utter a complete sentence. They were finally certain that this person was the legendary Divine Might General, and could not possibly be someone else in disguise. No one else could be so terrifying; the majesty in his eyes alone could make one feel as if they were descending into hell.
