"General, reconnaissance aircraft have detected a massive number of monsters heading towards the coast of Japan. They number in the hundreds of thousands and are currently about five kilometers from the shore. Please provide instructions." On the western side of Japan, aboard a huge battleship in the US fleet, a messenger stood up and saluted the elderly admiral who was looking out the window at Japan.
As the messenger spoke, the other naval generals in the command tower all looked at the elderly admiral.
"Report the positions of all ships, and order all fleets to conduct artillery fire upon approaching the coast. Continuously observe and report on the situation along the coast of Japan." Upon hearing this, the elderly admiral immediately issued the order.
"Hundreds of thousands!" The admiral exclaimed, gazing at the distant Japanese islands after issuing the order. Hundreds of thousands—in past wars, this was already a massive number, but now, it was merely an appetizer. On the Japanese islands ahead lay at least tens of millions of monsters; hundreds of thousands were just the beginning.
Following the order from the US admiral, hundreds of multinational warships coming from the west began to change their formation, spreading out and positioning warships of all sizes across the Japanese islands.
“Dog, dog…that dog…load high-explosive shells…aiming at 55 degrees.”
On American and British warships, officers shouted commands, and the ship's cannons began to rotate, rise, and all aim at the nearby Japanese islands.
"Fire!" With all the warship's guns adjusted to their angles and loaded, the US Navy admiral, who had been watching the Japanese islands, gave the order first.
"Bang bang bang..." With the order given, the entire combined fleet west of the Japanese island opened fire within a minute. The flashes of gunfire shimmered on the sea like the rippling waves. White smoke rose from the sea.
"Dog, dog... that dog... load... free fire." After the cannon fire subsided, the officers' loud shouts rang out again on the warship, and the soldiers began to remove spent cartridges and reload.
"Bang bang bang..." Soon, the sound of cannons rang out again on the sea. However, compared to the previous neat roar, this time it seemed much smaller, but it was continuous and did not stop.

"Waaaaah..."
On the coast of the island of Toyo, the whistling of artillery shells howled like a raging storm above the zombies.
"Rumble..."
The explosions of the shells were like the celebratory firecrackers on New Year's Eve, but unlike the New Year's Eve celebrations, these shells brought not good fortune, but flames, thick smoke, and shattering.
"Whoosh..." Amidst the explosion, watching their companions being blown to pieces, their bodies mangled, these special zombies howled, their faces filled with fear. They were originally created by Wang Han based on the corpse poison of intelligent zombies; while possessing greater intelligence, they had lost the tough skin and bones of ordinary zombies.
——————————————
“At this rate, these 500,000+ zombies won’t last long.” Looking at the flashing explosions on the coast below from the clouds, Wang Mang asked Wang Han, “Boss, should we bring in more? Otherwise, these multinational forces will land too easily.”
“That’s enough. This is just an appetizer for them. Making things too difficult at the beginning will make them very cautious. The real show is yet to come. Moreover, to kill as many people as possible, we need to get them to land, the more the better.” Upon hearing this, Wang Han shook his head.
Wang Han saw things more clearly than Wang Mang and understood these zombies he had created better. Although these zombies were a bit weak in defense, they could not be killed by a single barrage of artillery fire. However, blasting off parts of their corpses would not eliminate them. Even if they were all eventually eliminated, a large amount of zombie poison would remain on the ground. If they had been given a hellish difficulty level from the beginning, they might not have landed and instead adopted a strategy of blockading the island of Japan and bombing it for a long time.
——————————————
The bombardment lasted for a full hour and a half before gradually subsiding. After an hour of continuous shelling, the soldiers operating the various artillery positions were exhausted and panting. Some of the cannons even had their barrels replaced.
After an hour and a half of continuous bombardment by hundreds of warships, tens of thousands of tons of shells were poured down, and more than 500,000 zombies were wiped out, with fewer than 50,000 surviving, and fewer than 10,000 intact. Of course, one reason for this was that these zombies did not know how to avoid the shelling, but more importantly, most of the naval guns were large-caliber cannons, and under the cover of large-caliber artillery fire, it was difficult to leave them intact; the shockwaves could even tear them apart.
"We must take control of the beach before the next wave of monsters arrives."
"After landing, do not get separated. Stay with the main force and act under its command. Do not advance too far, otherwise the naval guns will not be able to support us."
"Once we land, shoot everyone except our own men without mercy."
"If anyone is injured, do not return to the unit, do not hide it, and tell others loudly. The best doctors are always ready. If anyone is found to be hiding their injury, do not blame us for pointing our guns at you. You will also lose the opportunity for treatment."
Ahead of the fleet, nearly two thousand landing craft sped across the sea, leaving trails of white foam. On each landing craft, amidst the roaring waves, officers shouted orders, giving instructions on what to remember and telling the soldiers what to do after landing. The first group of landing nations went all out, sending 50,000 soldiers.
