Chapter 627 Wang Han: I was really wrong!

"What happened?"

Upon arriving at Buzhou Mountain, the resurrected Wang Han frowned.

In Wang Han's eyes, Mount Buzhou was filled with demonic energy and resentment that soared to the heavens, even more intense than after the war between the Lich King and the period before the birth of humankind. Looking around, one could often see demons and ghosts rising and falling in the sky above Mount Buzhou, some of whom were even at the level of immortals.

"Was I really wrong?" Wang Han muttered to himself, frowning as he looked at Buzhou Mountain, which now resembled a den of ghosts and demons. Under these circumstances, the lives of the humans living here were unimaginable; they were beyond just suffering.

"I was wrong! I was really wrong!" That night, after wandering aimlessly around Buzhou Mountain and slaying some demons, Wang Han landed outside a narrow cave less than a meter high. A wave of sorrow and self-reproach washed over him. He had truly been wrong. His original intention was to help humanity escape the control of the gods, but unfortunately, he had miscalculated. Humanity had barely begun and was already in its current state, unable even to develop tribes.

"Waaah!" Just as Wang Han was silently blaming himself, a dirty, rough hand grabbed his from behind, trying to pull him into the cave behind him. Unfortunately, Wang Han was beyond the hand's ability to move, and he cried out in distress.

However, his actions also awakened Wang Han, who was secretly blaming himself.

“Since things have come to this, we can only try our best to make amends.” Turning around, Wang Han looked at the dirty young man who was grabbing his hand and trying to drag him into the cave. Seeing that the young man couldn’t even speak, Wang Han sighed and was pulled into the cave with his strength.

The cave was very narrow. Both Wang Han, who was 1.97 meters tall, and the wild youth who was pulling Wang Han inside, could only enter the cave by bending over and squatting.

This was a cave dug out by hand. After going in for about seven or eight meters, you reached the end, where several wild men, young and old, were found. They were all filthy, wearing only a few large leaves to cover themselves, or even nothing at all. On this night, even inside the cave, they were shivering from the cold. They huddled together for warmth.

"Sigh!" Looking at these savages, Wang Han sighed again. Although he didn't know what had happened in the prehistoric world, Wang Han knew that in the end it was his own fault.

"Waaah!" Upon hearing Wang Han's sigh, the young savage who had pulled Wang Han in cried out urgently. He released Wang Han's hand and spread his arms to block him, seemingly to protect his companion behind him. It turned out that, hearing Wang Han's sigh—a sound they couldn't produce—the young savage believed Wang Han was a demon in disguise.

"Sigh!" Looking at the savage youth protecting his companion, Wang Han sighed again. Perhaps it was always this difficult for humanity from the very beginning, let alone in this primordial world ravaged by demons. For most humans, even hunting was a luxury. It was the gods who made humans the protagonists of this primordial world. Although they schemed against humanity, their contributions are undeniable.

Wang Han changed his clothes into animal skin garments. At the same time, he conjured some animal skin garments out of thin air and handed them to the savage youth, pointing to the animal skins he was wearing and indicating that the youth should put them on. He also made it clear that he meant no harm.

At first, the young savage remained unmoved by Wang Han's offer of animal skin and his gestures. However, after Wang Han's repeated prompting, the young savage finally lowered his guard and carefully accepted the animal skin, wrapping it around his body roughly. Although he was trying to imitate the way Wang Han was wearing the animal skin, he ended up with a completely different, awkward look.

"Woo-woo!" The young savage quickly wrapped the animal skin around his body and immediately felt warmth where he was wearing it. He then excitedly let out a series of woo-wooing cries.

The next moment, to Wang Han's surprise, the savage youth took off the animal skin wrapped around his body and handed it to the child companion behind him. He even whimpered and gestured with his hands and feet to help the savage child wrap the animal skin around his own body, indicating that he could be warm.

Seeing this, Wang Han smiled bitterly, and then conjured up some animal skin clothing out of thin air and handed it to the savage youth from behind.

"Woo woo woo!" The young savage cried out excitedly as he received the animal skin garment from Wang Han from behind. He quickly distributed it to his companions in the cave, gesturing with his hands and feet to help them wrap the garment around their bodies. Feeling the warmth, the remaining savages also cried out excitedly.

'Since it was my fault, I will lead the human race from now on!' Wang Han thought to himself as he looked at the excited savages.

After thinking it over, Wang Han gently patted the young savage on the shoulder, then took out a set of animal skin clothing and personally helped the young savage put it on.

"Waaah!" Feeling even warmer after putting them on, the young savage was even more excited, whimpering as he hurriedly helped the other savages put on their animal skin clothes. Although they made quite a few foolish mistakes while dressing, fortunately, with Wang Han's guidance, they didn't make any mistakes.

"Woo woo woo!" After getting dressed, the wild youth excitedly wooed at Wang Han, letting his guard down.

"Me!" Looking at the young savage who was now dressed and no longer wary of him, Wang Han smiled and pointed to himself, speaking. Wang Han planned to teach the young savage some simple language first. Although humans were not yet civilized, they were still quite intelligent.

"Woo!" Under Wang Han's repeated demonstrations and instruction, the wild child was the first to follow along and learn. As the wild child learned, the other wild people also began to follow suit.

"Oh!" After half a night, the young savage who learned fastest finally managed to utter a strange, incoherent "I." At the same time, the savages understood that "I" meant "myself." Every time they made this sound, they would point to themselves.
