When the meat was cooked, Wang Han took it out of the fire and let it cool for a while. Seeing this, the savages followed suit.
Once the temperature was suitable, Wang Han began to eat, gesturing for the savages to eat as well. Seeing Wang Han start eating, the savages then began to devour the roasted meat in their hands. The moment the meat entered their mouths, the savages began to wolf it down. This was a delicacy they had never tasted before.
The remaining meat can also be roasted and stored.
"Awooo!" Just as they were enjoying their meal, the howls of wolves suddenly rang out all around. Unbeknownst to them, a pack of thirty or forty wolves had quietly surrounded the area. The howls were a sign that they had completed their encirclement and were preparing to attack.
Upon hearing the wolf howl, the savages immediately grabbed the roasted meat in their hands and quickly climbed up the nearby trees.
"Woo woo woo!" When the wild youth saw that Wang Han still hadn't climbed the tree, he immediately released the roasted meat in his mouth and called out to Wang Han urgently.
"Sigh!" Wang Han sighed. He had already noticed the arrival of the wolves; he had made another mistake. It was the roasted meat that had attracted the wolf pack. Before the savages had enough strength to establish their own tribes, they couldn't be taught to eat cooked food. Human development had to proceed step by step.
"Awooo!" The howls of wolves rang out again, and wolves leaped out from behind the trees and bushes, rushing towards Wang Han who was sitting by the fire.
Seeing the wolves charging at him from all sides, Wang Han didn't draw his knife this time. Instead, he picked up a slightly larger, sharp rock. Watching the wolves rush towards him, he nimbly dodged, and with a swift slash of the sharp end, he disemboweled one wolf. He then kicked another wolf that pounced at him, sending it flying, and smashed the rock down, killing a wolf that was biting his foot with a headshot.
Seeing Wang Han kill three of their companions in the blink of an eye, the remaining wolves immediately stopped. Staring at Wang Han, who held a stone in his hand, they growled in low voices, their bodies tense, poised to pounce. The savages in the trees were also stunned. They knew Wang Han was powerful, but they hadn't expected him to be this powerful—far more powerful than a tiger. Wang Han's actions were meant to show the savages that while humans are at a great disadvantage compared to wild beasts, they also have advantages.
Seeing the wolves surrounding him but not attacking, Wang Han picked up a sharp rock with his right foot and, without hesitation, charged towards the direction where the wolves were most numerous. His demeanor showed no fear; rather, he seemed more like a ferocious beast than the wolves themselves. One must not be cowardly in the face of wild animals! To become a predator, not a prey, one must not be timid; one must utilize human strengths: intelligence and agility.
(Don't try to emulate Wang Han in the wild; he's the main character.)
"Awooo!" Seeing Wang Han charging towards them, the wolf pack was not intimidated by him alone. Amidst the howls, the five or six wolves in front of Wang Han quickly retreated, while the wolves behind and to his left and right immediately rushed towards him.
"Bang bang bang!"
"Pfft! Pfft!"
Wang Han had anticipated the wolves' actions. Just as one wolf was about to charge at him, he suddenly stopped, turned around, and smashed a wolf on the head with two stones, instantly cracking its skull. Then, Wang Han charged at the wolves, nimbly weaving through them, his sharp stones flashing left and right, smashing and slashing. In a short time, he had killed seven or eight wolves, and the one that wasn't dead was crushed in the neck by a single stomp. The remaining wolves were once again frightened away by Wang Han.
"Ah!" Wang Han roared loudly as he watched the wolves flee in fright.
"Woo-woo!" Hearing Wang Han's roar and feeling his imposing aura, the remaining wolves whimpered and slowly retreated, eventually turning and running away.
Seeing the fleeing wolves, Wang Han pretended to be wary for a moment, dropped the stones, turned around and went back to the campfire, waving to the savages in the tree to indicate that it was safe.
Having received Wang Han's signal, the savages trusted him completely and slid down from the tree. However, once down, they looked at Wang Han, unsure of what to do, or perhaps waiting for him to lead them. Even those on the ground, swallowing the roasted meat in their mouths, didn't continue eating.
Seeing this, Wang Han realized these savages recognized him as their leader. He found some handy, thick wooden sticks, gave one to each of them, and took one for himself. He didn't continue eating the roasted meat or skinning the wolf; instead, he gave them a small amount of raw meat to eat, and ate some himself, before leading them away. The smell of roasted meat and blood would surely attract more predators, and even the raw meat couldn't be taken too much. The remaining meat was a return to nature.

Led by Wang Han, the savages wandered through the forest, finding some non-poisonous wild fruits. They wrapped them simply in animal hides that Wang Han had processed and carried them with them, resting when they were tired. They didn't encounter any more wild animals. Wang Han noticed that these savages generally only ate the wild fruits they recognized. The unfamiliar fruits were first bitten and eaten by the middle-aged savage (the former leader), and only after a long while would he eat some more. Then the other savages would eat them.
At noon, Wang Han led the savages to a secluded spot where they could climb trees to rest.
"Woo-woo-woo!" After resting for about ten minutes, the woo-wooing sounds of other savages suddenly rang out from behind the bushes not far away. Seven or eight savages slowly emerged from behind the bushes; they were all middle-aged or young adults, or children. (In the current form of humanity, the elderly rarely survive; most perish.)
Upon seeing these savages, Wang Han reached into the arms of one of the savages beside him and took a package of wild fruits wrapped in animal hide. He opened the package, placed it on the ground, and gestured for them to come and eat.
At Wang Han's repeated prompting, these savages, who were not yet full, did not stand on ceremony and started eating wild fruits after their leader began to eat.
"Woo woo woo!" While eating, these savages made woo woo woo sounds to Wang Han and the savages behind him, as if thanking Wang Han and the others for sharing.
Soon, after eating the wild fruit and resting, the newly arrived savages prepared to leave under the leadership of their chief.
Seeing this, Wang Han patted their leader on the shoulder and gestured for everyone to leave together. However, these savages did not understand Wang Han's meaning, and after whimpering and thanking him again, they left.
"Sigh!" Seeing this, Wang Han sighed again. The human race was currently living in small groups, and had not yet formed tribes. He could only lead his savages and follow quietly behind.
