Chapter 631 Establishing a Tribe

"Waaaaah!"

Upon seeing the cave hidden behind the bushes at the foot of the hill, the savages who had followed Wang Han immediately shouted excitedly. They believed that Wang Han must know about this cave, which was why he had brought them here.

"Woo-woo!" With the excited cries of the savages led by Wang Han, another savage quietly emerged from the cave. Looking warily at Wang Han and his savages outside, it also let out a few wary woo-woos into the cave.

"The task is arduous and the road ahead is long!" Looking at these excited savages, Wang Han couldn't help but sigh again. He gestured for a savage carrying an animal skin package to come over, took out the wild fruits inside, put the fruits down in front of the cave, and gestured for the savages inside to take them and eat.

Seeing this, the savage at the cave entrance, while warily watching Wang Han, unceremoniously picked up the wild fruit and took it into the cave. Inside the cave were a woman and two children. In this dangerous Buzhou Mountain, these savages often went hungry or even starved.

Seeing that the savages were not polite, Wang Han was not annoyed. Humans at that time had not been educated and did not know what politeness was.

Seeing the wild men huddled together for warmth in the cave, Wang Han took out several animal skin garments and handed them over. He even pointed to the ones he was wearing, indicating that they could wear them.

...

After a difficult exchange, Wang Han finally convinced the four savages inside that it was safer to have more people, and they left the cave to join his group.

Seeing the setting sun, Wang Han did not lead the savages into the small cave, but instead led them on their way.

Although the savages didn't understand why Wang Han didn't lead them into the cave to hide, out of trust and admiration for him, they obediently continued on their journey with him.

After leading the savages for about three more miles, it was completely dark. Amid the savages' anxiety and fear, Wang Han finally led them to a new cave. The cave was about two meters high and four meters wide, and there were bear footprints outside the cave.

Looking at the cave and seeing the obvious signs of large, ferocious beasts outside, the savages became even more frightened and dared not make a sound. However, having witnessed Wang Han's abilities, none of the savages fled.

"Shh!" Wang Han gestured for the savages to be quiet and wait for him there. Then, he took a sharp wooden stick and quietly slipped into the cave. A moment later, Wang Han came out with the bloodstained stick and waved for the savages to come over.

Seeing this, the savages who knew Wang Han's abilities understood that the beasts inside must have been killed by their leader. They quickly ran out from their hiding places and ran to Wang Han. Finally, led by Wang Han, they entered the spacious cave. The cave was very deep and had several turns. Even if they lit a fire inside, the firelight would not be detected.

(At night, while fire can drive away wild beasts, it is more likely to attract demons, for this is the primordial wilderness.)

Once inside the cave, Wang Han led the savages to share the bear they had just killed. They lit a fire deep inside the cave and began teaching the savages how to speak. After teaching them a dozen or so simple words, Wang Han let the savages rest, while he stood guard alone at the cave entrance for the night.

In the middle of the night, after seeing that the dozen or so savages were asleep, Wang Han immediately created over a hundred clones that scattered around Buzhou Mountain. The demons of Buzhou Mountain were far stronger and more numerous than the newly born humans, posing a significant threat to the currently weak and uncivilized human race. To allow humanity to develop more quickly, Wang Han felt it necessary to eliminate the nearby demons to prevent them from causing too many casualties to human tribes once they established their own.

After all, humans are not like the witches, who can contend with demons upon reaching adulthood and easily hunt ordinary wild beasts. Moreover, the witches already existed as tribes, led by twelve ancestral witches. When the witches appeared, there weren't as many demons and monsters, and they already had a language.

"Head Spirit, when should we begin to surround them?"

In the forest at the foot of Buzhou Mountain, a young savage dressed in animal skins hid in the bushes, watching a dozen or so wild boars rooting in the ground in the distance, and whispered a question to Wang Han beside him.

"Qi, we can begin! Remember, the smaller ones must be alive." Upon hearing this, Wang Han instructed Qi.

Qi was the name Wang Han gave to the young savage. Wang Han gave a name to every savage who joined the group. The names were words that they knew and could say, and they were composed of one or more words. This way, they could recognize each other and it would be easier for him to organize them.

"Yes, Master!"

"Woo-wa-wa!" Qi responded to Wang Han's words, immediately stood up, grabbed his stone axe, and charged towards the wild boar in the distance, while simultaneously uttering a special signal.

"Woo-wa-wa!" As Qi rushed out of his hiding place and gave the signal, more than two hundred wild men immediately ran out from the bushes and trees around him. They shouted in unison and charged from all directions at the wild boar herd that was already surrounded, holding stone axes or wooden spears.

Watching the savages he had brought begin their hunt, Wang Han did not go out with them, but observed from a distance, leaving the entire hunt to them.

For three months, Wang Han taught the wild people to speak every night, even correcting the pronunciation of some words. During the day, he led some of them out to hunt, gathering more wild people while teaching them how to make primitive weapons (stone tools) to fight wild animals, training their bodies and even teaching them simple martial arts. He also taught them how to use the surrounding things to make simple traps to obtain prey, and they had already achieved some results.
