"What do we do next?" asked the dwarf Kili, watching Thorin being led into the Lonely Mountain Kingdom by the mercenary group. The remaining dwarves and Baggins exchanged bewildered glances.
“That captain has seen through all of Thorin’s plans, and even guessed that Thorin wanted to contact King Dann of Ironhill to lead the Ironfoot Army against them,” Balin, the oldest dwarf in the group, said, shaking his head. As the oldest dwarf in the group, Thorin trusted him completely and told him his plan.
These mercenaries are greedy and shameless, only interested in money. Thorin never intended to keep his promise; he only wanted to use these mercenaries.
Thorin planned to use Wang Han's mercenary group to deal with the dragon. Even if they couldn't kill it, they could lure it away, allowing them to find the Arkenstone. By then, if Wang Han's mercenary group defeated the dragon, they would have suffered heavy casualties, making them easy prey for the Ironfoot Army. If the dragon won, they would have obtained the Arkenstone, and even if any members of Wang Han's mercenary group survived, they wouldn't pose a threat. With the Arkenstone (a symbol of the throne), he would no longer be merely the nominal King of the Mountain.
"We must save Thorin."
"Contact King Dann of Ironhill with his Ironfoot Army to deal with them."
"Yes, contact King Dane of Ironhill and his Ironfoot Army to deal with them."
Upon hearing Balin's words, the dwarves immediately erupted into a noisy commotion. They hadn't considered the consequences if Dann (Thorin's cousin) arrived with a large army, only to be wiped out by the mercenary group as easily as they had been in the Orc Dungeon—a massacre of the entire Orc Dungeon without a single loss. Nor had they considered that Wang Han's mercenary group possessed a highly dangerous secret weapon yet to be used.
Perhaps only Bahrain and Baggins thought of these things, but Bahrain didn't say anything, after all, Sorin was the king of the land below the mountain, their king.
Baggins wanted to speak, but as a friend of Thorin, he too couldn't bear to see Thorin die. In Baggins' heart, perhaps the arrival of the Ironfoot Army would allow for an equal dialogue.
“I will immediately contact King Dann of Ironhill and send his Ironfoot Army here,” Balin said, opening his baggage and taking out a birdcage containing a black raven. This raven was used to deliver messages, and only he and Thorin knew of its existence.
(It was this raven that delivered the message in the third movie, which allowed Barn to lead the Ironfoot Army to the scene in time. At that time, the main characters were all inside Lonely Mountain, so the raven could only have been brought there by them.)
After Balin tied the letter that Sorin had written in advance to the crow's leg, he released the crow.

On the other side, Wang Han also led his mercenary group, escorting Thorin into the interior of Lonely Mountain.
“Take us to the vault, Thorin. You’re also hoping we’ll face Smaug, aren’t you?” Inside the Lonely Mountain Kingdom, King Han laughed as he lifted Thorin up.
“I can walk by myself,” Thorin said, his last stand, the stand of the king of the land below the mountain.
“No problem.” Hearing this, Wang Han smiled and tossed Thorin to the front of the group.
Thrown to the ground, bound Thorin struggled to his feet, glanced at Wang Han with resentment, and then silently walked forward.
"Hmph! Follow me, all of you." Wang Han sneered and led his men to catch up with Thorin.
The interior of the Lonely Mountain Kingdom is vast, resembling a giant city. It took the group two full hours to reach the Lonely Mountain Kingdom's underground vault.
This is a huge underground cavern, supported by square stone pillars several meters thick. Everywhere there are glittering gold coins, vessels, and sparkling gems. "Gold mountain" is not enough to describe this place; it is simply a golden ocean.
"Captain, the trucks we brought can't possibly carry all the gold coins here." Raya stared blankly at the gold coins and gems piled up like mountains and oceans, and said blankly.
"How many points would that be worth?!"
"Could all the world's gold coins be here?"
Not only him, but everyone else was also completely shocked by what they saw.
“Once we’ve killed Smaug, we’ll have plenty of time to slowly select the most valuable items,” Wang Han said with a smile.
Just then, as everyone was awestruck by the treasure within Lonely Mountain, Thorin, who was leading the way, suddenly quickened his pace and leaped into the sea of gold coins in the vault. The coins immediately began to flow with a rushing sound.
"Smaug, get out here, you robber, you thief, get out here! Today, I will take my revenge on you!" Thorin shouted as he ran up the mountain of gold coins, leaping into the sea of gold.
"You've got some ideas! Too bad you're too petty!" "You all wait here!"
Watching Thorin running through the sea of gold coins, cursing loudly as he tried to wake and provoke Smaug, who was slumbering within, Wang Han smiled disdainfully, gave an order to his team, and then leaped into the air, quickly flying towards the fleeing Thorin.
"You're not making enough noise shouting like that. How about I shout for you?"
In a few breaths, Wang Han caught up with Solin and slowly lowered his body in front of him.
"You?" Thorin stared in disbelief at Wang Han, who was suspended in mid-air, unable to believe that Wang Han could actually fly.
"What? Surprised that I can fly? If I didn't have some skills, how could I dare to hunt the dragon Smaug? What will surprise you even more is yet to come. I just hope you don't go crazy then," Wang Han said, waving his hand, and a huge hurricane appeared out of thin air, stirring up the golden ocean in the treasure vault and causing a huge commotion.
