Chapter 726 One-Punch Man

Millions of years have passed like flowing water, all things are constantly going through cycles of birth and death, and the world is constantly changing. Life seems insignificant in this long river of time.

Over millions of years, the name of the gods has resounded throughout countless worlds. A legend has long circulated among these worlds that if one could become a member of the gods and enter that world, even the gods would envy you, for you would possess something that even the gods dream of.

Beside the abandoned highway, in an abandoned apartment building, a bright head suddenly popped into Wang Han's room. A soft voice called out, "Han-san, are you up?"

"Saitama-san, what's wrong? Is something the matter?" Hearing the call, Wang Han opened his eyes from his sleep, looked at the bald man in his pajamas who walked in, and said with a smile, "Come in and talk!"

"Han-san, I just had a dream." Saitama, wearing pajamas, walked into Wang Han's room, sat on the edge of the bed, and said to Wang Han in a daze.

"A dream? What kind of dream?" Wang Han asked curiously.

"I dreamt that there were subterranean people and a subterranean king beneath the surface, and they wanted to conquer the world." Upon hearing this, Saitama recalled everything that happened in his dream and said with great emotion, "They are very strong, really strong. When I fought with them, I even felt a long-lost sense of exhilaration and passion. It was really, really exhilarating, like I had finally found the goal I had been striving for. Unfortunately, just as I was about to fight the subterranean king, my alarm clock woke me up."

"That damn alarm clock has really made an unforgivable mistake!" Upon hearing this, Wang Han joked, "I think that alarm clock is probably broken by now!"

"Haha, nothing like that." Saitama said awkwardly, trying to cover up his crime that had been guessed. The alarm clock was indeed completely smashed to pieces, and there was a hole in the floor.

"Really? Don't think I didn't hear anything just because I was asleep!" Wang Han said with a smile, looking at Saitama with suspicion.

"Han-san, how could you suspect me of lying! Absolutely not!" Looking at Wang Han's gaze, Saitama reacted like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. He immediately shouted, refusing to admit that he was a violent person.

"Really?" Wang Han looked at Saitama with a half-smile and said leisurely, "Then bring your alarm clock over to prove it!"

“(⊙o⊙)…” Saitama was stunned, and anxious sweat dripped down his smooth head.

"Boom!"

Just as Saitama was racking his brains trying to figure out how to cover up his lie, a loud rumble suddenly sounded outside the house, and even the house shook.

"I'll take over the world above ground; everyone else on the ground, go to hell!" The arrogant shout came from downstairs in the residential area.

"There really are subterranean people and subterranean kings! Han-san, my dream actually came true!" Hearing the shouts coming from downstairs, Saitama excitedly said to Wang Han and quickly ran to the window of his room to look down.

"I am the King of the Underworld! People of the surface, despair!" On the highway below, a dark, humanoid monster brandished four red lightsabers, shouting arrogantly. Around him, seven or eight equally dark humanoid monsters burst through the concrete ground, waving their arms and cheering for their king.

"These are the subterranean people and the subterranean king from your dreams?" Looking at the humanoid monster below, Wang Han stared at Saitama with disdain. He asked in a highly skeptical tone, "Do they really have any fighting power?"

The Subterranean King downstairs was about the same size as an ordinary person, and the other subterranean tribesmen were all short and lacked any developed muscles. They were the complete opposite of the tall, strong subterranean tribesmen in Saitama's dream.

"I believe my dream is right!" Saitama said defiantly, his neck stiff. Without even changing his pajamas, he jumped from the upper floor to the underground palace below. After all, this huge residential area was inhabited only by him and Wang Han. Normally, no one even passed by, so he wasn't afraid of being seen.

"Boom! Pfft!"

With a single kick, Saitama, who jumped down, stepped on the Underground King, leaving him with only half a corpse.

"Uh!" Saitama was embarrassed when he saw the Subterranean King, who was already dead after being kicked. He looked around at the Subterranean tribes, trying to save face from these ordinary tribesmen, but found that they had already run away, leaving only a white flag tied with a thin bamboo pole.

"Dreams are the opposite of reality, Saitama-san!" Looking at the awkward contract, Wang Han shouted loudly to Saitama from upstairs.

"Trash freak, cowardly as hell." Upon hearing Wang Han's words, Saitama cursed loudly at the ground and walked upstairs dejectedly.

"Haha!" Wang Han laughed when he heard Saitama's voice from upstairs.

This is the world of One-Punch Man. When Wang Han first arrived, he happened to see the Titan's younger brother destroying the city, and he also witnessed the little cheater knock out the Titan's younger brother with one punch. After that, Wang Han, under the guise of an ordinary person, living with Saitama because his house had been trampled by the Titan's younger brother and he had no money or place to live, started living a lazy life together.
