After the medicine and water entered the uncle's mouth, he slowly woke up.
As predicted, the uncle wanted to stand up.
Wei Lai glanced at the middle-aged man next to him, and seeing that he didn't say anything but was looking at him, he could only speak for him.
"Don't stand up yet. Sit on the ground for a while. When you feel less dizzy, stand up."
"I'm sorry, I've been having more and more headaches lately. I wanted to go to the hospital for a follow-up check, but I didn't expect to faint on the way." The uncle smiled wistfully.
I looked up and saw Wei Lai's young face, then looked at the medicine in his hand, "You're still in college, majoring in medicine?"
"Haha, it's almost there, but I haven't learned it in school yet." Wei Lai returned the medicine in his hand to the uncle.
"You must be a big reader, right? Otherwise, how could you tell what's wrong with me?" The uncle took another sip of water. "Which school are you from? I'll write a thank-you letter to your school."
"From Qing University, but there's no need for a thank-you letter. It was just a small favor." Wei Lai frantically searched for excuses in his head. "By the way, remember you got on the bus after us, right? That's when I accidentally saw the medicine in your pocket. I thought I'd give it a try. I hope you don't mind."
"No, I still feel dizzy now. If it weren't for you, it would be difficult for me to get the medicine by myself." The uncle sat on the ground, his head leaning against the iron pillar of the bus, swaying slightly.
"Should I sit still?"
"Just sit down first and stand up when you feel more comfortable. If you don't feel better in an hour, you'd better take a taxi to the hospital." Wei Lai replied, remembering the instructions he saw on the medicine bottle.
"We were going to the hospital anyway, but it seems we can't delay any longer. We have to have surgery." The uncle sighed, then closed his eyes to rest.
When Wei Lai returned to Qingting, the bus had just arrived at the station and the person who was sitting next to him got off the bus.
When he sat down, he found that the middle-aged man who had been there before also sat down.
"What can I do for you?"
"You said you are a student of Qingdao University? What major are you in the medical department?" The middle-aged man kept looking at Wei Lai.
[This child should be a good seedling and worth paying attention to in school.]
[Is this uncle sick? I should get off the car and take a taxi back with Xiaoting.]
Phew!
Hearing the two people's thoughts, Qingting laughed out loud.
The middle-aged man's inner thoughts indicated that he was very likely to be a teacher at Qingdao University, but Wei Lai said that his future teacher was sick.
She could imagine how embarrassed her boyfriend would be when he knew the truth; his expression must be very interesting.
"Xiaoting, what are you laughing at?"
"It's okay, it's okay. I choked on my saliva. Wei Lai, just tell him the truth."
Qingting shook her head, made up a random excuse and helped persuade Wei Lai to tell the truth.
"It's okay, you'll choke on your saliva?"
"I'm so overwhelmed by my boyfriend's heroic act of saving someone, I can't help but drool." Qingting pushed Wei Lai, "Hurry up and tell me, I'm waiting for your answer."
[What nonsense is this? It's so weird.]
After muttering to himself, Wei Lai turned to the middle-aged man and said, "It's clinical medicine."
"Is that so." A look of pity flashed in the middle-aged man's eyes, and he lowered his head and began to think.
[With that old man in this department, I guess he won't let anyone go easily.]
【But I've just started school, so maybe I can still give it a try. 】
The bus continued to move and stopped after a while. The middle-aged man stood up and walked to the back.
Before getting off the car, he left a message for Wei Lai.
"When school starts, if you want to change your major, come find me in Building A of the Medical Department. My name is Jiang Xuewen."
"Uh, okay."
Wei Lai had never expected to meet his teacher on the bus, so he responded hastily.
The door of the public bus closed again. Wei Lai just breathed a sigh of relief when he found that his girlfriend beside him had started to laugh secretly.
"That's just funny."
"Isn't it funny? When Teacher Jiang sat next to you just now, I guess you must have felt that this person was sick."
"You're teasing me again. Now you know that you are the worm in my stomach." Wei Lai lowered his head and covered his forehead.
I suddenly felt so embarrassed. He's a professor in the medical department, so why would I want to stand out like this?
"Hey." Qingting suddenly poked him again.
"What?"
"Do you want a reward? You performed very well today."
"What reward?"
Wei Lai turned his head to look at Qingting and found that her cheeks were red and her feet were swinging unconsciously.
【Could it be the number of times allowed! 】
"Can I keep it?"
Although he was very tempted, Wei Lai still held back and said tentatively
"You!" Qingting looked up and glared at Wei Lai with dissatisfaction, and suddenly heard his inner voice.
[No matter what, yesterday was your first time, so I'll let you rest for a while.]
"Okay." Seeing that Wei Lai was doing this for her, Qingting raised her head and said, "I'll let you keep it, but I still have the final say on when you can withdraw it."
【Isn't this the same as being confiscated?】
Wei Lai rolled his eyes, but didn't care about it anymore because he saw that the uncle had stood up.
"Are you okay?"
"It's okay. I feel much better after taking the medicine, but it's still necessary to go to the hospital."
The uncle thought for a moment and asked, "What's your name, classmate? Do you want to add me on WeChat?"
"Wei Lai, just add WeChat."
"Well, we'll meet again if we're lucky. I'll also write a thank you letter."
When the bus arrived at the station, the uncle got off as well.
…
The wedding studio was quite fast. They notified Wei Lai and his friends that they could pick it up on the third day after they took the photos.
