Because finding an entrepreneurial club has to be done after school officially starts.
Taking advantage of the two days of vacation before school starts, Wei Lai and Wang Zi went to find the wedding photography studio's stage manager.
What Wei Lai was most worried about was that Wang Zi was used to asking his father for money when he was short of money, and would not be able to endure the hardships of starting a business.
However, when he saw Wang Zi taking out his cell phone to hail a taxi, he hesitated for a moment when he saw the price of an express ride, and then chose to take the bus with him, which made him feel a little relieved.
The fact that Wang Zi can proactively realize not to waste unnecessary money shows that he has a certain level of awareness.
But it’s not enough for them to just be aware of it. If the wedding photography studio doesn’t hire anyone, there’s nothing they can do.
However, considering that Wei Lai was their old customer, the stage manager girl still recommended a photography studio that was hiring.
Before leaving, Wei Lai and Wang Zi went to a bookstore and bought a book on photography teaching.
Just as I was leaving the bookstore, something unexpected happened.
A young boy wearing a safety rope suddenly fell from an overpass on the side of the road.
And it was not far from them.
Although he had some protective gear on him, it looked like he was about to fail.
Light and shadow retrospect.
The next second Wei Lai anticipated this, he looked around for a way to save this person.
Soon he saw a three-wheeled sanitation vehicle parked on the side of the road, and a sanitation worker was cleaning up garbage that had been blown in from somewhere.
"Wang Zi, wait for me to explain this to you. This is to save people."
After saying something to Wang Zi, Wei Lai rushed directly towards the tricycle.
After getting on the tricycle, he glanced at the back of the car. It was filled with sacks of garbage, but no dangerous items were visible.
So without saying a word, he rushed under the overpass.
Several passing cars were forced to stop by Wei Lai who suddenly rushed out.
Just as a driver rolled down his window to curse, there was a bang and a man fell from the overpass and lay diagonally in the sanitation truck.
This situation shocked the driver and Wang Zi, who was explaining to the sanitation worker.
In an instant, passers-by gathered around.
"What happened?"
"It looks like someone fell from the viaduct."
"Luckily, the guy on the scooter caught me, otherwise I would have died."
While passersby were talking, Wang Zi also came over with the sanitation workers. The young boy lying in the tricycle frowned in pain and was unable to speak for a while.
"Are you okay? I'll take you over there to rest."
Seeing that the road was about to be blocked because of his behavior, Wei Lai quickly pushed the cart to the side of the road.
With the help of the sanitation workers and Wang Zi, Wei Lai successfully carried him to the side of the road.
The young man had barely recovered from the shock and said with difficulty, "Please call an ambulance for me. My leg seems to be broken and it hurts a lot."
"Wang Zi, you call first, I'll help take a look at him... I'm sorry, sir, you can take the car back now." Wei Lai greeted Wang Zi and the sanitation worker, and began to try to use his ability to help the young boy confirm his injuries.
The result was terrible. He could predict that when the young boy's leg fell on the tricycle, the bone hit the edge and was completely broken into two pieces.
Although his life was saved, it would take at least four or five months to fully recover.
"The bone may be broken. You'd better not move to avoid bone displacement and secondary injury."
"No wonder it hurts so much, but luckily I saved it."
Wei Lai was concerned about the boy's injuries, but the boy was touching the ball of fur in his arms with cold sweat on his forehead.
It was a very thin pear blossom cat. When the boy touched it, its ears only moved slightly, proving that it was still alive.
"Taking such a big risk just to save this cat?" Wei Lai didn't understand. If he hadn't been there, the boy might have died here today.
"I'm a cat blogger who specializes in rescuing stray cats. Life is equal, and today was just an accident. I'll be more careful next time."
The young man grinned, but in fact he was also feeling uneasy. He didn't expect the safety rope to break suddenly.
Maybe the safety rope was worn off because I had tried to rescue the cat too many times recently.
He tried using nets, nooses, and food to lure the cat, but the cat was too weak and could hardly move, so he had no choice but to do it himself.
Not to mention that he really wanted to save the cat, all the footage he had worked so hard to shoot in the past few days would be basically wasted if he gave up saving the cat.
"Wei Lai, the ambulance said it will be here in about fifteen minutes... By the way, I agree with what you said. Every life has its meaning." After Wang Zi finished the call, he turned around and said.
When he saw the cat in the young boy's arms, he couldn't help but think of his unborn child. They were such fragile lives, and it would be too pitiful if they were abandoned so cruelly.
"Then let's wait here until he's put in the ambulance, and then go to the photography studio."
"Alright."
It's still early anyway, they can wait a little longer.
While waiting, the rescue vehicle had not arrived yet, so the boy's companion came down from the overpass first.
"Xu Wang, are you okay? Thank you, thank you for saving him." The girl who ran down kept thanking Wei Lai and Wang Zi with red eyes.
"It's okay, it's just a piece of cake."
"Xiaohong, feed the cat with the milk you brought first. It may be dying soon." Seeing his girlfriend coming, Xu Wang handed the cat in his arms to Liu Xiaohong.
"Xu Wang, why don't we just forget about it?" Liu Xiaohong took the cat and took out the bottle of milk from her bag and dripped a little bit into the cat's mouth. "There are fewer and fewer people willing to adopt stray cats nowadays. We can't support a house full of cats by ourselves."
