As the weather gets colder, Wei Lai and his classmates are about to have their first New Year's Day holiday since they started junior high school.
It has been a week since the third monthly exam ended. The comprehensive results of the monthly exam have not come out yet, but the test papers have already been distributed.
The test paper has been reviewed by teachers of each subject in turn.
Wei Lai has never had any intuitive impression of the differences between Qinghe Junior High School and other junior high schools. He only knows that Qinghe Junior High School offers the most comprehensive and largest scholarships among all junior high schools in the city.
There is a sense of using money to stimulate students to study hard.
Although the method is a bit simple and crude, Qinghe Middle School has indeed achieved an impressive admission rate to key high schools, surpassing other junior high schools in the city, attracting many parents.
As a student of Qinghe Junior High School, Wei Lai gradually discovered that things were not that simple.
After graduating from elementary school, he had little contact with other elementary school classmates, but An Ruoyan and Wang Zi in the dormitory had a few good friends in elementary school. They would go home on weekends and sometimes play together often.
Because their results in the last monthly exam were not ideal, they couldn't help but complain to their classmates that the last few big questions on the test paper were too difficult.
After chatting with these friends, I found that the difficulty of their test papers was indeed so great that it was almost insane to try to solve them completely using the knowledge they had already learned within a limited time.
There are still three days until New Year’s Day, in the dormitory of Qinghe Junior High School.
Four people in the dormitory sat on the floor with a Monopoly chessboard in the middle.
This is Wang Zi brought out from home to play with them.
"Wei Lai, the school's age rankings will be out tomorrow. What place do you think we will be ranked?" Wang Zi was holding the dice in his hand. When he put it down, he was still thinking about the perverted monthly exam a week ago.
"Probably the same as the previous two times, there are probably about ten in the whole school." Wei Lai watched Wang Zi move the chess piece to the accident square and successfully accompany An Ruoyan.
He didn't believe that there was no affair between the two of them.
It's not enough that they like to stick together normally, but they also have to share hardships when playing games.
"I think you might be able to get into the top ten this time." An Ruoyan picked up the dice on the ground and successfully rolled a six, leaving the accident grid where she had to rest for three rounds early.
But when he rolled the dice again and it came up as a four, he walked into Wei Lai's territory and his expression wasn't so good anymore.
"Even if you say nice things, you still have to pay the toll." Wei Lai said as he stretched out his hand. He always lost to Qingting, but he didn't expect that he had good luck in the Monopoly game. Not long after he started the game, his starting capital had tripled.
"I'm not saying this in a good way. During this monthly exam, the teacher praised you for having the clearest problem-solving ideas."
"That was just a math test. I'm not that good at Chinese and English tests."
After receiving the toll from An Ruoyan, Wei Lai also picked up the dice.
If he had not discovered another use for his ability before the exam, he would probably have felt like other students that time was insufficient during the two-hour math exam and would have just written whatever came to mind, at least to get points for the process.
It was because I used my abilities and had twice as much time as others that I was able to slowly figure out the solution to the problem.
"Your scores in Chinese and English are also above the class average. It's really hard to say."
In this exam, Qiang Ming's score barely reached the class average, but he was still very envious of Wei Lai's learning ability.
We all have a pair of eyes and a pair of ears, so why is there such a big difference in our learning?
Then when he took the dice, he rolled a three and successfully bought another place.
Wang Zi looked at the increasing number of real estate cards in front of him and pouted.
His grades are similar to Qiang Ming's, but his luck in playing games is not as good as his, which is the most infuriating thing.
"How are your childhood sweetheart's grades?"
The dice were just a formality in Wang Zi's hand. He was still trapped in the accident box and turned around to ask about Qingting.
"Why are you mentioning her suddenly?" Wei Lai felt embarrassed. He was only slightly better than Qingting in math, and was surpassed by her in other subjects. He felt depressed just thinking about it.
Surpass her in study and then make her look at you with admiration.
When will such a day come?
"It's because you never mention her that we are curious!" Wang Zi's chess piece entered the accident grid, and he simply lay down, wanting to eat a piece of melon, regardless of whether the melon was old or not.
Just keep it cooked.
Once the desire to watch the show arises, it spreads immediately.
Both An Ruoyan and Qiang Ming looked at him, and An Ruoyan stopped rolling the dice in his hand.
Seeing the expressions of the three people in the dormitory, Wei Lai understood that these three guys just wanted to take advantage of the rich.
Seeing that his grades were the best in the dormitory, we targeted him.
"As for grades, she should be better than me." Wei Lai said, choosing what to say. "She has never boasted about her grades in front of me. I only occasionally glanced at them when the test papers were handed out."
"Why do I feel like she's afraid of hurting you?" An Ruoyan said with some realization before rolling the dice.
The dice landed and stopped, and it was another six. Wang Zi was so envious that he wished he could switch places with An Ruoyan. The feng shui on his side was not good.
…
On the other side, in the girls' dormitory.
After Fang Feifei stayed overnight at Qingting's house last time, Tong Duoduo was thinking about Bao Wen and Ba Xiaowei staying over at her house every day. For no other reason than that she wanted someone to sleep with her at night and chat with her in bed.
"The cold wind blows, the drizzle falls, I am alone in the empty room, and my heart is chilled."
