Chapter 67 The Waited Confession

Wei Lai shook his head in his heart. Xiaoting still liked to tease him.

Maybe it wasn't really a prank. When she was on the bus, she knew she was going to play Werewolf and had already checked the rules.

The first night he wanted to kill him, just to make the witch use up the antidote.

During the three years of junior high school, although Wei Lai did not find a way to further shorten the cooling time of his abilities, he mastered a new skill.

When he was in elementary school, his ability sometimes worked and sometimes didn't work unless he encountered danger. After entering junior high school, he was finally able to use it at will.

However, there has always been a limitation, which is that he can only predict what happens when he sees something or a place.

But now it’s different. Even with his eyes closed, he can predict the future of his surroundings.

After closing his eyes, he used his ability and found out that Qingting and Tong Duoduo drew the wolf cards, while Wang Zi drew the witch.

"Why else? Of course I want my high school life to be more fulfilling." Qingting continued Tong Duoduo's words and looked at the host.

The host said knowingly, "Is the werewolf sure to kill this player?"

Qingting nodded, and Tong Duoduo pouted and nodded as well.

"Werewolf, please close your eyes." The host saw the two people close their eyes and continued the game.

"Witch, please open your eyes. He is the player who was killed tonight. Do you want to save him?" The host pointed at Wei Lai.

When Wang Zi saw that it was Wei Lai, he immediately nodded.

"Okay, witch, please close your eyes, prophet, please open your eyes. Who are you going to investigate tonight?"

As the host finished speaking, Ba Xiaowei opened her eyes, looked at the people around her, thought for a moment, and pointed at Wei Lai.

The host took out a coin and showed her Wei Lai's identity.

More than ten minutes later, Wei Lai didn't know what to say when facing Qingting.

Now they were sure what was wrong with Wang Zi, so they discussed it and decided to let him and Qingting survive and fight them one-on-one.

Werewolf Tong Duoduo blew himself up, and hunter An Ruoyan took the civilian Qiang Ming away before he died.

As a witch, Wang Zi poisoned the prophet Ba Xiaowei and was stabbed to death by Qing Ting at night.

What a human tragedy! It's amazing that they can pull it off.

"There are only two of us left, you should win." Wei Lai felt that he only had the right to vote during the day and had to be stabbed at night. This was obviously a lost situation.

However, Tong Duoduo and Bao Wen, who were pretending to be dead nearby, grabbed the host and asked her not to announce the end of the game. The host had taken the money and it was not appropriate to interrupt the guests' entertainment, so she just watched from the side.

"You think I'm a wolf, but I think you're the wolf. You just don't dare to kill me." Qingting sat at the table, holding her chin and blinking at Wei Lai.

It's really unfair. This female werewolf is trying to be cute with him even though she was supposed to kill him on the first night.

Wei Lai smiled bitterly and said, "Xiaoting, please stop messing around. I'm a civilian, so you must be the wolf. If you don't kill me, do you really intend to live together as a wolf?"

"Who said it's not possible?"

The host also understood, chuckled, and said helpfully: "If you want to play a few more rounds, there is indeed a game called human-wolf love."

"Look." After hearing what the host said, Qingting turned around and smiled gently at Wei Lai. She reached out and pressed Wei Lai's sign, with her hand less than one meter away from his body.

"Actually, even without Cupid, it doesn't necessarily mean that humans and wolves can't be together, don't you think?"

Wang Zi watched this scene expectantly from the side. This was what he wanted.

If he wasn't afraid of ruining the atmosphere, he really wanted to jump out and say, the girl has said it so obviously, why are you still hesitating.

Wei Lai no longer needed his ability because he knew what would happen if he agreed.

[You just want me to confess my feelings. If I could have done so, I would have done it in the first grade of junior high.]

"You also know that without Cupid, there's no way to play the game of human-wolf love." Wei Lai leaned forward and pressed his hand on Qingting's ID card. "Let's abide by the rules of the game, okay? We can play it again when Cupid comes."

After saying that, Wei Lai flipped over Qingting's ID card, and a wolf head appeared on the card.

"If that's what you think, there's nothing I can do." Qingting retracted her hand and didn't turn over Wei Lai's ID card. The result of the first round of Werewolf was already obvious.

The werewolves win.

"Huh? That's it!" Wang Zi was very reluctant to see such an ending.

"Okay, we'll talk later. Let's play the game first." An Ruoyan patted Wang Zi's shoulder and turned to the host and said, "We already know a little about the rules of Werewolf. You mentioned Cupid's way of playing. Teach us more."

"Okay." The host nodded and took out eight more cards from his pocket.

The sun gradually sets.

After coming out of the Werewolf Killing Shop, the eight people found a place to have a meal, walked around for a while, and bought some small gifts for each other as a souvenir of the gathering.

Tong Duoduo and Wei Lai were on the same bus heading back together.

Wang Zi was in a bad mood and decided to be willful for once. He did not go home at night and went to An Ruoyan's house with Qiang Ming as a guest. He did not plan to go back at night either.

An Ruoyan's home.

The three of them played Landlord together as they usually did when Wei Lai was not at school.

"Ruoyan, what do you think Wei Lai meant today? I even suspect that he is waiting for Qingting to confess first." Wang Zi held the playing cards in his hand, with depression written all over his face.

"Actually, they're quite smart. I haven't even figured out the rules yet, and they've already won twice in the werewolf romance." Qiang Ming pinched out a card and put it down. "So you'd better not try to make plans for them. They know exactly what each other is thinking."

"Then why are you still dithering?"

"I may understand a little better than you." An Ruoyan put down a king, "They are waiting for each other to confess their feelings, but they are also waiting for an opportunity."

"What opportunity?" Wang Zi was still confused. Apart from feeling that the two of them were hesitating, the rest was still hesitating.

"A chance to be together openly." An Ruoyan sorted out the cards in her hand and played another two. "Of course, it's hard to say. If one of them can't hold back and confesses first, the other one will definitely agree."

"How long do we have to wait for this?"

"I don't know. I only know that I won. Even right."

An Ruoyan put down all the cards in her hand, a smile on her face.

"I'm going home first, you guys play."

After the card game was over, Qiang Ming looked at the alarm clock in the room and stood up from the ground.

Wang Zi thought about it and stood up as well.

"Qiang Ming, wait for me, I'll go with you."

"Eh? Wang Zi, didn't you say you'd stay at my house tonight? The last bus is already past."

"I can't stay here anymore. I'm going to take a taxi back to talk to my dad."

Qiang Ming and Wang Zi disappeared, leaving only a pile of playing cards on the floor in the room.

After An Ruoyan picked up the playing cards on the ground, she stood up and walked to the window of the room. Outside the window, she saw the backs of Qiang Ming and Wang Zi leaving.

The last of our junior high school memories ends here. Next time we meet, we will probably be in high school.
