Chapter 463 Preliminary Exploration

The metal wire in Geng Qiaoer's left hand bound five entities that had turned from virtual to real.

These five entities are three black and two white.

There are three black ones, one of them has the upper body of a woman and the lower body of a spider. This spider woman has eight eyes on her face and her body is tightly wrapped with metal filaments.

One was a normal-looking female cultivator wearing a black robe, but when Geng Qiaoer pulled on her, half of the robe was torn off, revealing her fair skin underneath.

There was another one, a humanoid figure with black flames all over his body, like a spirit.

However, even so, he still couldn't escape Geng Qiaoer's bondage.

The two white ones are a half-human, half-snake white snake woman, and a handsome and elegant male cultivator in white.

Although they look different, the main color of their bodies is uniformly black or white, and there does not seem to be any disharmony.

It's like the character cards in a card-drawing mobile game, each with its own attributes—the color of each character card will lean towards its own attribute, generally red for fire or blue for water.

After Geng Qiaoer asked this question, the black fire man began to jump violently, and the flames on his body were crackling like gunpowder explosions.

The metal wires that bound him also began to tremble slightly.

Geng Qiaoer was not panicked, but just injected spiritual energy into the metal wire as usual.

A blue-green light passed through the metal filaments and reached the black fire man.

The black fire on the black fire man's body suddenly died down, and as the light continued to transmit, the flames on the black fire man's body actually peeled off like fallen leaves, floating in the air and dispersing into black dust.

The flame flickered, and within a few breaths, the black fire man was reduced to a pile of black fire as big as a gas stove.

Geng Qiaoer then tightened the metal wire again, and the black fire turned back into a black ping-pong ball.

"So, can you communicate?" Geng Qiaoer put away the black ping-pong ball and repeated the question to the other four people as if nothing had happened.

"Sister Fairy, let's talk it over..." The male cultivator in white forced out a somewhat stiff smile and spoke first.

"It's good that we can communicate." Geng Qiaoer nodded, then looked at the other three women and asked, "What about you?"

The White Snake Girl immediately put on a flattering expression and said to Geng Qiaoer in a slightly trembling voice, "Fairy, please tell me what you want to say..."

The black-robed female cultivator's face twitched unconsciously, but her entire body, bound by the metal wire, made a kneeling and worshipping gesture, and she uttered two unclear tones with difficulty, appearing to have surrendered.

Spider-Woman was tied up the most tightly. She could hardly move and could only flap her spider legs on her lower body.

"I have a few questions for you."

Seeing that Geng Qiaoer did not start killing as soon as she arrived, the four black and white entities breathed a sigh of relief.

"If you answer truthfully, I will spare your life and even grant you freedom."

"But if you don't behave yourself."

Geng Qiaoer didn't finish her words, but just glanced at the four people coldly.

"However, to prevent you from colluding, I have decided to question you one by one. So, it's best to think carefully before answering."

That’s all.

Geng Qiaoer squatted down and pressed her left hand on the ground.

The metal filaments extended and spread out like tree roots.

Immediately afterwards, the ground began to shake and the earth rose up, forming several compartments, imprisoning the four people inside.

The walls, floors and ceilings of the compartment are covered with metal wires and isolation measures under the metal wires.

Now, the four of them were dumbfounded.

They had regained their intelligence, but it was still controlled by the chessboard. It was like a normal person who had been implanted with a brainwashed idea, firmly believed in it, and maintained it.

But the control of the chessboard is much more deeply rooted than brainwashing!

Although they were restricted by the chessboard, they were unable to communicate instantly as they were isolated by Geng Qiaoer!

Geng Qiaoer didn't waste any time and started asking questions directly.

She didn't prepare many questions.

Some ask everyone, and some ask each person individually.

Among the individual questions, some are asked about themselves and some are about others.

These issues can be connected together. If the testimonies are inconsistent, then there is something wrong with them.

Can't be trusted.

If they still don't behave, Geng Qiaoer will beat them back into the form of grapes.

The first question is where this is.

They are relatively honest about this issue.

Although the names are different, they all indicate that this is the space within the magical chessboard.

The second question is who their masters are.

All four of them said that there was no owner, and the chessboard was the owner.

If they did not lie, then Geng Qiaoer's "chess player" inference would not hold true.

The third question is, who are they, and who are the others?

In order to survive, without involving the chessboard, the four of them revealed their identities completely, especially those of others, and told them everything they knew.

Geng Qiaoer discovered that they did not all know the details of their companions.

However, this information is of little value to Geng Qiaoer.

But when it comes to the key issues of this space and the chessboard, these black and white entities either hesitated or made up a set of explanations.

The reason why Geng Qiaoer knew it was a fabricated story was because the white-robed male cultivator and the White Snake woman had different accounts.
