Chapter 5: Immortal Order

According to the assistant, the Immortal Order can summon old friends from the sect.

When the players arrive, it will be very difficult for Lu Qing to deal with them alone.

If someone could share some of the work, that would be great.

However, Lu Qing still didn’t know in what form the old friend summoned by the Immortal Order would appear.

Is it to directly resurrect the original person?

Is it to summon a copy?

If it is a copy, does he have his own subjective consciousness?

Or, should we just create a mechanical NPC based on the old person?

Lu Qing used his divine movement to arrive at the Sword Burying Garden. The three immortal summoning orders in his hand seemed to be inspired and began to glow slightly.

After anticipating possible situations and responses, Lu Qing took out a summoning order and moved his mind.

The jade token lost its gravity, flew out of his hand, floated in the air, and turned into points of light that scattered in all directions.

Lu Qing was distracted and felt that he was among millions of stars. His body flew through the sky and stopped in front of a bright white star.

Immediately afterwards, scenes after scenes flew through Lu Qing's mind one by one.

From an old bungalow somewhere, a baby's cry was heard, followed by the joy of several common people.

The baby grew into a child, as strong as a calf, and was able to help his father work in the fields.

In the blink of an eye, the boy returned to his teenage years. One day, an old man with an immortal look came to the house and chatted with the boy and his parents. Finally, he left a box of gold and silver and flew away with the boy.

The young man and the old man came to a lush green mountain, where they trained and practiced, followed the old man down the mountain to eliminate monsters, or went to the distant mountains and forests with his fellow apprentices to collect magical herbs.

In the blink of an eye, the boy grew into a strong man with broad shoulders, a round waist and a beard.

Finally, while battling a demon, the man was pierced through the heart by a claw and lost his life. Before his consciousness faded, he locked the demon's claws with his hands, buying an opportunity for his companions to kill the demon.

Lu Qing felt that he suddenly stopped while flying, and in front of him was this strong man.

The strong man opened his eyes and looked at Lu Qing.

"Cheng Yi greets the Sect Master!"

The scene disappeared rapidly, and Lu Qing returned to the Sword Burying Garden.

And in front of him stood the strong man Cheng Yi.

Cheng Yi carefully and respectfully regarded the handsome young man before him, looking around with a hint of stage fright. His memory lingered on the day he was struck dead by the demon, but he also knew that he had died that day.

But it was this young man in front of him, the current leader of the Cangxia Sect, who used some unknown means to awaken him who had been dead for a long time, and then resurrected him and brought him to this place.

This place has obviously been dilapidated for a long time, but it is very similar to the sect's sword burial garden.

Lu Qing was thinking about what kind of opening remarks to use, but Cheng Yi immediately knelt down with a plop: "Cheng Yi thanks the Sect Master for saving my life!"

"Get up quickly!" Lu Qing was startled and quickly helped up the kneeling man who was almost as tall as himself.

"I don't know the Sect Master..."

Lu Qing's hand was just on Cheng Yi's arm. Suddenly, he had an idea and started to move.

The two of them saw a flash of light, and the next second, they appeared in the hall.

Teleportation!?

Cheng Yi was shocked by Lu Qing's method. After practicing for nearly a hundred years, this was the first time he had seen such a transfer method that almost went against common sense!

"I wonder if the Sect Master has resurrected me, is it..."

Lu Qing thought for a moment and said, "My name is Lu Qing, and I am the last one left in the Cangxia Sect."

Cheng Yi looked surprised.

When he was still alive, the Cangxia Sect was at its peak, upholding righteousness and commanding prestige. What kind of calamity had befallen it? Or had the world changed dramatically, a different era?

"I hope you can help me revive the Cangxia Sect."

"I will never refuse even if I die!"

When Cheng Yi's mind was still in a mess, the power that awakened him had already communicated with him through thoughts, so he knew that the young man in front of him was the leader of the Cangxia Sect.

And he resurrected himself in the hope that he could help him.

Of course he is willing to do so from the bottom of his heart.

Otherwise, he would not risk his life to slay demons and monsters, and naturally, he would not be chosen by the Immortal Summoning Order and resurrected.

"I wonder what your current plans are, Sect Master?"

"In a few days, a group of mortal disciples will be joining us. I hope you can guide them."

"yes!"

Lu Qing took Cheng Yi on a casual tour of the sect's main hall. From the tablets, it could be seen that dozens of sect leaders had been replaced since Cheng Yi's own era. In terms of time, it had been at least tens of millions of years.

The current sect hall has changed a lot from what he remembered. When he saw the Ningqing Mountains that looked like a primitive jungle, he was filled with sighs.

Everything from his era, the familiar people and things, have been completely submerged in the torrent of the times.

If it weren't for Lu Qing, Cheng Yi felt that he would have been confused, but since Lu Qing existed, Cheng Yi was willing to contribute his own strength to revitalize the sect.

Lu Qing used his magical powers to bring Cheng Yi to Yu Cuifeng and arranged for him to live in a small house with its own yard.

After learning that these buildings were newly built by Lu Qing, Cheng Yi's admiration for Lu Qing increased a little more.

With such a leader, why worry about the sect not prospering!
