Chapter 27 Cute

Chapter 27 Cute

Originally, Eli didn't understand why Elvis stayed in this pet shop for more than a week and didn't want to leave.

After following the Marshal and eating his pet's nutritious meals for two days, he finally understood.

The environment here is fresh, the food is delicious, and the manager is nice. It is indeed the best choice for a vacation!

Moreover, there seemed to be some kind of magical power in Tong Wanwan...

He couldn't tell what it felt like.

Eli only felt that although the girl looked petite and gentle, occasionally, she would exude a calm aura that was hard to ignore, like the passing of wind and clouds.

It doesn't take much effort to stand next to her and you can feel the birdsong and flowers in her heart.

Wherever you are, there is sunshine.

I think Marshal Elvis was also indulging in this warmth that drove away loneliness and darkness, which is why he softened little by little like the melting snow on the peak.

In the early morning, when the sky turns pale, Tong Wanwan will prepare breakfast for the two little pets, change into sportswear, and jog slowly along the street outside the villa.

After an hour of morning exercise, she would time herself and return to the backyard around eight o'clock.

At this time, the air temperature is no longer as low as six or seven o'clock.

She can now water the roses in the garden.

The previous owner of the villa took excellent care of this patch of pink roses. The petals are clustered together layer by layer, elegant and pure, and you can smell the refreshing fragrance before you even get close.

What she likes most is the pink and tender color.

The garden full of pink satisfied her girlish heart to a great extent.

On this day, she had just finished watering the flowers and wanted to pick a bunch of roses, cut them, make them into dried flowers, and decorate the room.

The 1551 system's sleep mode was set to the same schedule as Tong Wanwan's. It watched its host pruned flowers with great interest, feeling energetic early in the morning.

[Wanwan, this one looks great! Hey, that one's nice too!]

Tong Wanwan smiled and listened to it very much, marking the "lucky ones" who were chosen.

After selecting them all, she started pruning from the first marked pink rose.

She first looked for the buds on the flower branches, picked one slightly lower among several buds, and then cut it off about one centimeter above with scissors.

Holding the scissors in her left hand and the flowers in her right hand, Tong Wanwan realized belatedly that she had forgotten to bring the basket of flowers with her.

She puffed her cheeks helplessly.

【What's the matter?】

"It's okay, I forgot to bring the flower basket, so I have to go back first." Tong Wanwan sighed.

A dozen steps wasn't far, she was just a little upset with herself for forgetting such a small thing.

At this moment, Tong Wanwan suddenly felt her trouser leg being pulled.

Then, the system exclaimed in her mind: [Wanwan, look! Oh my god, Cancan brought the flower basket for you!]

Tong Wanwan was stunned and looked down - sure enough, there were two little pets following her.

It was the little white lion who was pulling Tong Wanwan's trouser leg. He was holding an empty basket twice as big as himself in his mouth and staring at her without blinking.

Behind the little white lion is a new companion who moved in two days ago: a chinchilla. Like the little white lion's most loyal subordinate, the chinchilla follows closely behind him, displaying its adorable charm.

Tong Wanwan chuckled, a little surprised.

"Thank you, Cancan!"

She bent down and tried to take away the flower basket that the little white lion had brought over.

However, the little white lion took a step back and dodged her outstretched hand. Its eyes said clearly: I'll hold it for you, just put it in.

The system was stunned: [Wanwan, is this really just an animal? It's really not a Federation orc? It's almost a spirit!]

Tong Wanwan blinked, and for a moment, she also had doubts.

but……

The next second, this thought was thrown out of my mind.

She likes this look of Cancan too.

With her eyes curved with smile, she bent down slightly, put the roses she had cut on her right hand into the basket, and touched the little white lion's head as a reward.

"Then I'll leave it to you!" The girl's smiling face was even more beautiful than the flowers blooming behind her.

Eli followed behind Elvis and watched the Marshal lower himself and use his young animal form to help Tong Wanwan collect the cut branches.

After watching for a while, Eli unconsciously lowered his head and looked at his own hamster appearance a few times, feeling a little discouraged.

He also wanted to help...but with his small body, what could he do?

Tong Wanwan was more attentive to her pets than to people, and she could tell at a glance that the little mouse had become depressed again.

She observed that the little mouse looked at the basket and then glanced at her secretly, obviously wanting to get involved.

What can I do... Tong Wanwan seemed to be thinking about something.

Suddenly, the girl raised the corner of her lips and picked up the chinchilla from the ground with her free right hand.

Eli was startled. "Gugu?"

The troubled Major General suddenly felt a sense of weightlessness. He came to his senses and met her eyes which were very close to him.

Those black eyes, which seemed to be dyed with ink, were seeping with sunlight and flickered.

It turned into a warm light gold.

The next second, Eli heard the girl's smiling voice—

"I need your help, too, okay?"

After saying that, Tong Wanwan placed it steadily on the edge of the flower basket held by the little white lion.

This flower basket was a small bamboo basket she had woven at home out of boredom. The sides of the basket weren't very wide, but it was still big enough for the chinchilla, with its tiny arms and legs, to stand on.

"Hold steady, be careful." She gently reminded him, turned her head and handed the newly cut rose branches to Eli, asking, "Please help me put the flowers in the basket, so I don't have to bend down."

Subconsciously taking the branch with both hands, the little mouse's eyes became moist and tearful, as if he would cry out of emotion in the next second.

Eli solemnly aimed the flower in his hand at the other branches in the basket, adjusted the position, loosened his hand, and put the branch in, integrating it neatly into the bouquet.

Seeing that it had finally recovered its spirit, Tong Wanwan pursed her lips and couldn't help but smile.

The cooperation between the one person and the two little animals was very tacit. After ten minutes, Tong Wanwan had cut all the marked dried flower materials.

Seeing that the work was finished, Elvis glanced at Eli, who was still standing motionless on the basket, and shook him mercilessly a few times, obviously intending to drive the beast away.

I'm not tired, but... it's quite heavy.

"Gu!" Eli, who was almost thrown away, was startled and jumped down quickly.

He was only concerned with helping Tong Wanwan and completely ignored the fact that Marshal Elvis was impatiently holding the basket in his mouth to support his weight.

The two little animals, like newly hatched chicks and ducklings following the first creature they saw, followed Tong Wanwan and walked back with a clattering sound.

I am very happy today, surrounded by cute pets.

Today is a normal little day~
