Chapter 7 The Boy and the Dog

Shannai hummed a song as he rode a hundred meters away, then clicked "Return to Supermarket" on the screen.

In the blink of an eye, the cat and the car were sent back with a whoosh.

There was a tall and thin figure at the entrance of the supermarket. He was carrying a cross-body bag and was looking through the crack of the door with his head sticking out his eyes.

"It's really weird, where did this supermarket come from... and why would it attack..." Song Ze scratched his head and muttered to himself.

A big black wolfhound followed by his legs, sticking out its tongue and sticking close to its owner.

As soon as Song Ze went out early in the morning, he found an advertisement flyer for Lucky Supermarket posted on the corner of the street. Without thinking much about it, he tore it off, crumpled it into a ball and threw it away.

But Dahei brought it back the next second.

Song Ze threw it several times without getting tired of it, but Dahei picked it up every time, treating it as a way to play with the dog.

The paper ball became more and more rotten as Dahei played with it, and it was directly hung on Dahei's mouth.

Suddenly, the picture of tomato and egg rice on the advertising page caught Song Ze's attention.

He quickly took down the advertising page with a big hole in it and spread it flat on the ground. He felt something strange, so out of curiosity he followed the location on the page and brought Dahei to the door of Lucky Supermarket.

The supermarket door was made of transparent glass, and there were indeed a lot of supplies placed inside. Song Ze stared at the bottles of mineral water and instant noodles, his heart excited.

He gritted his teeth and planned to break in directly.

However, I never thought about it.

As soon as he bumped into it, he was bounced back by a burst of electricity.

"Hello, do you want to go in for shopping?"

After Shannai put away her electric bike, she saw a teenager and a dog lying with their butts sticking up at the door of her supermarket.

Song Ze was startled by the sound behind him and subconsciously touched the dagger at his waist.

"Woof woof woof!" Dahei also started barking, protecting his master behind him.

"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. I'm the owner of this supermarket. Come in."

Shanna pressed the button on the door, and the door opened easily. She looked at Song Ze politely.

Song Ze was shocked and glanced quickly at Shannai.

This person was not bounced away!

Is this really her supermarket? At this time, someone still opened a supermarket?

Is this girl fifteen?

It seems that she is well protected by some big boss. She is spotless, beautiful and cute.

Song Ze noticed that the girl's eyes were on him, and he suddenly felt shy and panicked. He looked down at his dirty self and the gray dog, and inexplicably felt a sense of inferiority.

The survivors of the apocalypse are all somewhat malnourished. Nineteen-year-old Song Ze has no special powers and has survived until now by relying on his fists and the big black dog that keeps him company.

Under the scorching sun, Shannai looked at the boy, who was already drenched in sweat and still standing there in a daze, his hair on his forehead greasy and dripping with sweat, and said, "There's air conditioning inside."

If you don’t go in, I will!

Shannai shrugged and walked towards the bedroom. It was too hot outside and she just wanted to change into a little skirt to cool down.

To be honest, in the end times, sometimes living people are more terrifying than zombies and monsters.

At least that's what Song Ze thought.

He is an orphan and is naturally suspicious.

But Shannai looked too harmless, without any sense of danger, and he really needed supplies.

Song Ze lifted a corner of his clothes, wiped the sweat off his face, and prepared to go into the supermarket. "Dahei, just wait here."

Dahei, who was being petted by his owner, stuck out his tongue and sat obediently at the door.

Shannai changed into a blue suspender dress, washed her hands, and hurried out. Seeing Song Ze staring at the shelf, she cleared her throat and said, "The store has just opened, and there is a 20% discount promotion these days."

Song Ze looked through all the supplies carefully, intending to grab some. It was the end of the world, he had nothing valuable, and the hunger was driving him mad.

He licked his cracked lips and thought, this girl is the only one here, she can just run away after robbing her, so there should be a chance.

Immediately following.

Shannai looked at Song Ze, whose face was covered in black, and rushed directly to the shelf, "Customer..."

Without waiting for Shannai to explain.

The next second, Song Ze was mercilessly hit by the punishment electric shock of the supermarket defense system.

"Woof woof~" Dahei looked at his master lying on the ground, rolling his eyes, foaming at the mouth, and twitching. He hurried in and touched Song Ze's face.

"Customer, please respect the shopping instructions. You cannot take away the supermarket products without paying points. If you do this again, you will be thrown into the zombie pile."

Veins bulged at the base of the boy's neck. The high-frequency electric current lasted for three minutes. Although it was not fatal, it was enough to cause unbearable pain.

Three minutes later.

"Cough cough..." The pain disappeared, and Song Ze hurriedly got up and retreated to the corner.

Although the big black dog glared at Shannai, he was so scared by Shannai's glare that he ran out of the supermarket and could only squat at the door with his head down and humming.

Shannai had a smile on his lips, still a loyal dog.

But she was the leader in the mountains back then. This ordinary little dog had no choice but to run away when it saw Shannai, the orange cat who had been practicing for thousands of years.

"Customers, please read the shopping instructions."

Shannai turned his gaze to Song Ze and pointed behind the cashier counter.

Song Ze swallowed his saliva. He was not stupid. Living in the end times, he knew that some people had awakened superpowers.

This girl, oh no, the boss is probably a powerful person with great superpowers.

He stood up slowly, walked to the cashier with his head tilted, and carefully read the shopping instructions.

"Crystal core..." After reading it, Song Ze rummaged through his messenger bag for a long time, took out a few gray crystal cores that he had saved for a long time, and handed them to Shannai tremblingly.

Shannai was overjoyed, "Please ask the customer to put it in the exchange plate." That's great. Although the crystal core in his hand was stained with blood and dirty, it did not affect the huge income.
