Chapter 1326: Foreshadowing and Consequences 1

She looks remarkably like Qiao Xiuzhen; they are twin sisters.

Qiao Xiuna turned around and saw Qiao Zhenbang and the others. Her eyes were filled with cold light, showing no trace of kinship.

From the moment she was reborn, she no longer had any feelings for them.

Only hatred.

"You've been lurking among us for decades, just for this one grand show?"

Qiao Zhenbang couldn't understand where her hatred came from.

"No one in the Qiao family has wronged you."

Qiao Xiuna gritted her teeth, her face tense: "You have no right to lecture me. Your Qiao family is becoming more and more prosperous, while do you know what kind of life I'm living in America? You haven't even looked for me, yet you say you haven't wronged me? It's because you don't consider me a member of the Qiao family!"

Qiao Zhenbang asked, "When you left, did you give us your address?"

Qiao Xiuna looked pale and blamed all her pain and suffering on the fact that the Qiao family hadn't come looking for her.

She left with her neighbors and went to the United States.

Everything about America, its bustling cities, was what she longed for.

She felt she could establish herself in this place.

Study hard and live the life that the upper class should live.

She deserves it; she started learning etiquette and how to interact with foreigners when she was five or six years old.

In other people's eyes, she is also a smart child.

With loving parents, wearing princess dresses and little leather shoes every day, she would definitely shine in a crowd.

This is the life she wants.

To live a life superior to others.

But their good fortune didn't last long; they went bankrupt.

Overnight, without any warning.

The princess aura shattered instantly upon entering the villa.

They were kicked out of high society and lived the lives of ordinary people.

However, Americans in the United States have some prejudices against them.

Her father couldn't bear the feeling of falling from heaven to hell, so he became self-destructive, drank heavily, and stopped working.

He argues with his mother every day when he gets home.

Over time, they grew tired of each other.

The father, in particular, would resort to violence whenever he was unhappy, which escalated into domestic violence.

Year after year, day after day, it's the same kind of life.

Her dream life was shattered. The media watched them argue and fight in this environment, and she was unable to go to school.

The thought of a future filled with endless, aimless days filled her with resentment. She resented that all they did was fight and never think about making a comeback.

One day, the father got drunk and knocked the mother unconscious.

The father was tired, so he lay down on the floor to rest.

Looking at those two hideous faces, Qiao Xiuna instantly felt a deep resentment, wishing they were no longer in this world.

She stepped out of her house.

That evening, an ambulance and police arrived downstairs, and sirens were deployed at the scene.

Qiao Xiuna watched as her parents' bodies were brought out and put into the car.

As she began her life in the orphanage, her mind gradually became twisted, and she started stealing other children's toys.

She worried the teachers at the welfare home.

After that, Qiao Xiuna escaped alone.

I began my life as a wanderer.

She saw news about the Qiao family in the newspaper; they had grown stronger step by step and had become a prominent family in Rongcheng.

It was at that moment that she truly began to resent the Qiao family.

Watching Qiao Xiuzhen shine brightly, surrounded by admirers and showered with love, while she wandered the United States, without parents, living a life of darkness.

She was angry, resentful, and vowed to go back.

She had a goal, and this strength supported her, giving her the courage to live.

Later, when she grew a little older, she married a sixty-year-old man who had a lot of money but no sons.

After his death, he successfully inherited the estate.

She had just returned to China.

She had visited the Qiao family, which used to be a prestigious family, but things had changed since then.

She watched as Qiao Xiuzhen got out of the car, the driver opened the door, and she happily ran home.

Her parents welcomed her with joy, and her brother doted on her.

She hid in some dark corner, barely surviving.

She felt even more hatred for Qiao Xiuzhen.

All of this originally belonged to her.

Every time she thought about these things, she felt resentful that she, as a member of the Qiao family, received no protection whatsoever.

However, Qiao Xiuzhen's later misfortunes put her at ease.

"You left without saying goodbye, without thinking about how sad your parents would be, and only wanted to live the good life you wanted."

"We don't know your exact location in the United States, and that couple didn't contact you. You're unhappy with your life, and you're blaming me for it. You're being too selfish." Qiao Zhenbang said with a stern face, expressing his dissatisfaction with Qiao Xiuna's extreme behavior.

No matter how unbalanced it may seem, it can be explained clearly.

But what Qiao Xiuna was thinking about was herself, and what kind of life she was living.

They don't care what their family members actually think.

She made the same mistake over and over again for decades.

No one can forgive her anymore.

Qiao Xiuna smiled at Qiao Zhenbang's accusations, showing no remorse whatsoever.

The pain she had endured made revenge far too lenient.

She would never be content if the Qiao family hadn't fallen into such a state.

Her gaze lingered on Qiao Xiuzhen's face, noticing her almost haggard appearance, and she took off her hat.

She has a head of jet-black hair, and looks very young from behind. Plus, she takes good care of herself, so she thinks she looks much younger than Qiao Xiuzhen.

“Look at you, we’re twins, but you look so much older than me. You must have had a lot of suffering all these years,” Qiao Xiuna said smugly.

She was happy and content as long as she was doing better than Qiao Xiuzhen.

That competitive spirit and desire to win gave her a taste of success.

Qiao Xiuzhen was disappointed to see her like this: "Xiuna, even if you are doing better than me now, what have you gained and what have I lost?"

She didn't understand; she had never intended to compare herself to Qiao Xiuzhen.

“I’m happy. As long as I’m better off than you, I’m happy.” Qiao Xiuna narrowed her eyes, revealing a viciousness: “Especially seeing your man die in front of you, I’m especially happy. And your child has become my son. Hahahaha, I’ve tormented you for over forty years, and you didn’t even know it.”

Qiao Xiuzhen almost couldn't stand up, but luckily someone supported her from behind.

"What are you saying? You killed Jingxing?" Qiao Xiuzhen had always thought Xie Jingxing's death was an accident.

Qiao Xiuna enjoyed seeing her look defeated; that expression made her happy.

She recalled Xie Jingxing from more than forty years ago; his life seemed to have stopped at that time.

But it has to be said that Xie Jingxing was incredibly handsome back then.

Even Qiao Xiuna couldn't resist.

When she learned about Qiao Xiuzhen and Xie Jingxing's past, she really wanted to break them up.

Few men can resist the temptation of beauty.
