Tang Yujiao nodded gently, then turned and left.
Su Mei watched her retreating figure until she closed the office door after leaving, then said, "I heard she recently turned down all her engagements. I guess Lin Hui's death is making her feel terrible."
Tang Yaoyao narrowed her eyes coldly.
Is that so?
If what Su Mei said is true, then she is still a human being.
"Pack your things, we'll go back to the Tang family tonight."
Su Mei nodded: "Mm."

The Fu family's old residence.
It started raining that night, and the weather grew colder.
Fu Jincheng didn't get back until 3 a.m. because of work. He opened the door and had just closed it when he heard a knock.
Thump thump thump—
Fu Jincheng checked the time. Usually, at this hour, the security guards wouldn't let strangers into the old house.
He asked, "Who is it?"
"Second brother, it's me."
Fu Jincheng was slightly taken aback upon hearing her voice, and quickly opened the door to the room.
Tang Yaoyao walked in, her face somewhat gloomy.
Seeing that she was soaked to the bone, Fu Jincheng said with a mixture of reproach and concern, "Why didn't you use an umbrella? Where's Su Mei?"
"She didn't come."
Fu Jincheng took out a brand new towel from the storage cabinet and dried her hair: "Didn't you say you were going to rest at the Tang family's house tonight? Why did you come over in the middle of the night?"
I miss you all.
Fu Jincheng chuckled: "Can't you go a day without being affectionate with your brother?"
"no."
After Tang Yaoyao finished speaking, a cold glint appeared in her hand; it was a sharp dagger.
