Chapter Ninety-Five: Fury

"I used to envy Chu Chusheng, the streamer, but now I think it's better to stay on AZB, at least everyone there has a brain..."

Dami and Asiba mocked the Chu family members without restraint, but their words were purely from their personal perspectives.

Chu Wei was finding it increasingly difficult to understand.

That person's question was really stupid.

Although the Han and Chu families are both prominent families in Yuzhou and have cooperated frequently, they also have many conflicts. If one family has internal problems, it's good enough if the other doesn't take advantage of the situation; they are unlikely to offer help.

So according to these two streamers, they deliberately argued to attract viewers and boost their sales. Then, when they saw someone mention the streamer on Chu Chu Sheng Ge's side in the comments, they took the opportunity to put her down. The Han family, on the other hand, used a more sophisticated method of putting her down, hiring online trolls.

Ultimately, this cannot be considered a deliberate attempt by the Han family to target the Chu family.

This achievement stunned many people at the scene.

"That's not right. If Qin Yiheng wanted to solve the problem, shouldn't he have found a way to prove that the Han family was behind it, so that we could unite against them?"

"I've been thinking about that too. He made us wait so long, wasn't it just for these two streamers?"

"It feels like the words weren't chosen correctly, what are they trying to do?"

"I don't understand..."

The Chu family members started whispering among themselves, but their attention was quickly diverted by the voices of the two broadcasters.

"Our CEO Han said that we should come over and explain the whole story. It's fine to say that the Han family took advantage of our misfortune, but if you say that the Han family was the mastermind behind this, the online trolls would have already left by now, and the Han family will not admit it."

While Da Mi was speaking, A Xi Ba checked the time.

"We only have half an hour. No one has time to play with you. The Chu family should handle its own affairs and not involve others."

Upon hearing this, everyone in the Chu family was enraged.

Clearly, the Chu family suffered the most in this incident, so why is the Han family acting like victims?

On the one hand, they control public opinion and gracefully retire; on the other hand, they want to clear their own name and wash their hands of the matter.

Does the Han family get all the good things in the world?

"We can't let them go!" someone shouted.

"Yes! The matter hasn't been explained clearly yet, we can't let them leave."

"This was clearly a deliberate attack by the Han family, and now they dare to do it but don't dare to admit it..."

However, the bodyguards surrounded them, and Axiba and Dami only panicked briefly. They glanced at the crowd and, for some reason, calmed down.

"Say less, aren't you ashamed enough?" Chu Ruoxue stepped forward. "When did the Chu family become a bunch of resentful, complaining women?"

Liu Wanxia caught Chu Wei's gaze and said with some suspicion, "Ruoxue, why are you taking the side of outsiders?"

The crowd's anger began to turn towards Chu Ruoxue.

"If anything were to happen to either of them today, it would undoubtedly give the Han family another excuse. Are you doing this for the good of the Chu family, or are you trying to harm them?"

Chu Ruoxue's gaze was cold as she swept it over everyone in the Chu family present. Her gaze lingered on Chu Wei for a little longer. Others might not have noticed, but Chu Wei felt somewhat uncomfortable.

“Ruoxue’s words make sense.” Chu Wei stepped forward to defend Chu Ruoxue. “And let’s not forget, our goal is to resolve the Chu family’s crisis, not to discuss two anchors who are subservient to others.”

Asiba and Dami successfully withdrew from the scene, and naturally they didn't receive any good treatment from the Chu family, but they did receive benefits from Qin Yiheng.

Qin Yiheng spoke to both of them separately that day and explained his purpose.

"I hope you can appear at the Chu family's residence on the third night, which will show that the Han family did not take the initiative to attack the Chu family..."

They couldn't understand such a request at all.

With things escalating to this point, no one would believe it was a misunderstanding. The Han family didn't take the initiative, so could it be that there's a traitor within the Chu family?

Axiba and Dami are just two streamers who make a living on paychecks and don't get much involved in these family matters. They were mainly tempted by the conditions Qin Yiheng offered, and after discussing it, they thought it wouldn't have any impact on the Han family, so they agreed.

For Qin Yiheng, it was simply a matter of using his medical skills to cure their chronic illnesses.

After the two left, an eerie atmosphere spread throughout the Chu family home.

They realized what was happening too.

"Qin Yiheng, what exactly do you mean? Is this the result you made us wait for? You said it had nothing to do with you, and now the Han family says it has nothing to do with them either."

"Exactly, after such a big incident, are you trying to just cover it up with misunderstandings and coincidences?"

"Even if the Han family isn't the mastermind, they're still involved in this matter. You must have offended the Han family!"

"Everyone, please calm down. The patriarch is right. What we need is a solution. Qin Yiheng, tell us, what is your solution?"

In everyone's eyes, this was already letting Qin Yiheng off the hook.

However, Qin Yiheng said, "How can we have a solution if we don't find the mastermind?"

"Smack—"

Someone overturned the cup beside them and cursed at Qin Yiheng: "Are you just playing us for fools? You've been shouting that you have a solution since you came in, but we haven't seen a solution yet. We've been completely fooled by you!"

"I told you long ago, he's just stalling for time. Throw him out! With him around, the Chu family will never be safe!" Liu Wanxia immediately shouted.

Then, more and more people became enraged.

A large group of bodyguards surrounded Qin Yiheng, leaving him isolated by everyone.

“This is not our fault…” Chu Wei shouted, but his gaze was only drawn more to Chu Ruoxue.

Having come this far, why didn't Chu Ruoxue step forward again?

Is she genuinely at odds with Qin Yiheng, or is she deliberately putting on an act? What if Qin Yiheng is about to give in?

"Beat him!" Liu Wanxia shouted hoarsely. Her voice, which was originally more androgynous but slightly feminine, now sounded like every word was cracked.

"Go! Throw him out of the Chu family! I'm in charge today!"

This man was the young man who overturned the cup. His presence had never been particularly strong; he would shout when others shouted and gossip when others talked.

Qin Yiheng didn't quite remember his name.

However, he achieved his goal.

Surrounded by bodyguards and out of sight of the Chu family, Qin Yiheng curled the corners of his lips into a smile.

He had gone to such lengths to provoke their fury, because during his and Chu Ruoxue's investigation, they discovered some people they hadn't paid much attention to who were doing something rather suspicious...

However, the bodyguards had no idea what Qin Yiheng was thinking. They only felt that he was being provoked, and immediately swarmed forward.
