A long-awaited single chapter

I'm quite tired. I said I'd take a nap, but I can't fall asleep, and my mind is a bit of a mess, so I'm starting a new chapter.

First, I'll answer a few questions that some members in the group have asked, which I've seen, so I'll reply here.

1. Latest Update

There are several reasons why I haven't been updating as much lately. As you all know, I'm a part-time writer, and for the past year and a half, I've been extremely busy at work, so I have less and less time to write.

I hadn't driven for six months to focus on writing, relying on my commute on the bus to and from work to write. Because my home is small and I don't have much personal space, and my kids are sometimes noisy, I wasn't in the mood for much writing either. So, most of my writing consisted of waking up early to take the bus, commuting on the bus, and writing 2-3 chapters during my lunch break, then squeezing in the remaining 2 chapters at home…

I've maintained four updates a month for two months, and five updates a month for a month. I'm probably working too hard for too long and I'm feeling a bit weak lately.

Then there's the work adjustment. I've had to drive to work recently, so my writing rhythm is off the charts. I need to adjust.

Another reason is the plot; they wanted to wrap up the Tsunanishi volume, so they slowed things down again.

This is my first book, and it may be difficult to guarantee a large number of updates from beginning to end. I hope you all will understand.

2. Word count of the book, and the issue of the female lead.

The word count should be 200-300 words. There are too many female leads, so it's impossible to make it shorter.

I think I asked a question about pure romance the day before yesterday? A lot of people thought this book was going to be about pure romance, haha, how could that be?

Unless you kill more than ten female leads, haha…

I was just asking casually.

Okay, I've covered two trivial issues. Now let's get to the important part.

So far, there are two QQ groups for this book: a general group and a VIP (full subscription) group. Everyone can join the first group, but there are many pirates in it, which I understand. The second group is for the big shots who have truly supported Chonglou's writing to this point, and the condition for joining the group is that you have subscribed to the full book.

Well… I think subscribing to the entire book is the most basic recognition and encouragement for an author's hard work, right? Otherwise, if no one subscribes, someone like Chonglou, who's struggling so much, really has no reason to exist…

Then, some readers reported me to Qidian, saying that I was scamming people by inviting them to join the full subscription group. Dude, you can't just read pirated books yourself and then sue me for not making money from writing books, can you?

I'm really speechless. I've been feeling down all afternoon, and I don't even know what I'm thinking.

However, Chonglou won't curse anyone. Watching both the official and pirated versions is a way to support this book. I also hope that everyone who likes this book will have a good time. Chonglou works hard from dawn till dusk every day. You all know how badly my family is doing. Please, big shots, have mercy on me. I'm scared. When you reach my age, with elderly parents and young children to support, you'll understand the hardships and helplessness of life. I just hope you won't expose my struggles.

Also, if you're interested in the book's plot, just read the synopsis and join the group. As for the full subscription group, if you think the book is worth your money, you can come in and chat with a group of like-minded friends. Besides friends, there's nothing else in the group (crying...).

My mind is a mess, and what I'm saying might be completely nonsensical...

But my only thought is: I'm already miserable enough, don't make me even worse...

That's all for today. I'm exhausted and have a terrible headache from all the reports. I'll write again tomorrow. Sorry everyone.
