Chapter 230: Xiao Chunwen (6)

Chapter 230: Xiao Chunwen (6)

Ming Zhouqing sat down between the two older ones, one arm around each of their shoulders, "Xi'er and Yang'er, do you want to play?"

Ming Yanxi turned his head.

Ming Zhouqing pinched his face and said, "Don't be shy. Just nod if you want to."

He nodded.

Seeing that the eldest brother nodded, Ming Xiaoer also nodded.

Ming Zhouqing was just about to call Ming Weisu when he saw two younger ones running over, holding the hands of the two older ones.

Ming Yansheng said, "Brother, Grandfather is calling you."

Ming Yanyi also pushed Ming Yanyang's waist, his face still flushed with excitement: "Second brother, it's your turn to play with the eldest brother."

Ming Yanyang pulled Ming Yanxi over and they took turns being tossed around to play with each other a few times before coming back.

After the brothers had enough fun, Ming Yanxi took his three younger brothers to have a nap.

Ming Weisu put his hands on his hips and looked at the little kids leaving, and said with emotion: "In a few years, I don't know if I will be able to throw them away."

After spending half his life on the battlefield, he has many hidden injuries.

Ming Zhouqing put down the teacup and said, "Even after a few years, the Grand Marshal will still be as majestic as ever. How come he can't throw it away anymore?"

Ming Weisu patted his shoulder and said, "It's okay if you can't throw it. You guys are still here. I'm going to take a nap too."

Ming Zhouqing nodded, pulled Zheng Leyun along, and said, "We're going back too. You and mother will have to keep an eye on the children when they wake up."

Ming Weisu waved his hand.

On a late spring afternoon, a breeze quietly sneaked in from between the windows, rolled up the gauze curtains, and the fragrance of the crabapple blossoms wafted in.

The little guy on the bed turned over and opened his eyes. After blinking a few times, he gurgled and got up. Seeing his sister sleeping quietly beside him, he quietly crawled over.

She lay down beside her sister, tilted her head and looked at her for a while, then tentatively pulled back the quilt.

Seeing that her sister didn't wake up, the little girl pulled the quilt higher again, crawled in, buried her head in her sister's arms, and narrowed her eyes.

Xianyue, who was watching from outside the gauze curtain, saw her cute gesture and a smile appeared on her face.

Ming Yuhan felt like a furry kitten had crawled into her arms. She rubbed her eyes, and when she opened them, she saw a black head rubbing its cheek against hers.

"Sister~"

Ming Yuhan's eyes curved at her cute tone, and he held her little face and kissed her, "Sister, when did you wake up?"

She talked a lot in a jumbled manner, but Ming Yuhan didn't quite understand what she said, so he kissed her again.

The little guy held his face and laughed.

Xianyue then stepped forward and asked, "Do you two girls need to go to the bathroom?"

Ming Yuying knew what Xiaojie meant and reached out to Xianyue, "Go~"

"Okay, let me get you dressed."

The maid who was taking care of Ming Yuhan outside heard the noise inside, went in to dress Ming Yuhan, and took them to the urination together with Xianyue.

After washing the hands of the two young masters, they brought them to Yuan Yuhe.

Yuan Yuhe watched as her eldest granddaughter brought her youngest granddaughter over, and with a smile on her face, she hugged them in her arms, "Han'er and Ying'er are awake. They look like they had a good rest."

As she spoke, she held her little granddaughter in her arms and sat her down, "Grandma, please give Xiao Ying'er a little hairpin."

The little guy buried his head in his grandmother's arms and pointed at his sister: "Zha~"

"Okay, give it to my sister too."

Ming Yuhan lay on Yuan Yuhe's lap, patiently pointing at his sister's fingers to teach her how to count.

After combing her two granddaughters' hair, Yuan Yuhe pinched their faces and said, "Let grandma see whose beautiful baby these are. Turns out they are ours."

"Piao Niang~" the little girl agreed with a smile.

Jinzhi then led a young woman in. The young woman bowed to Yuan Yuhe and said, "Mother, your daughter-in-law greets you. How are you feeling lately?"

"That's fine, sit down." Yuan Yuhe looked up at her.

This is Ming Zhouwu’s wife.

The two children held by the maids were put down and also came forward to pay their respects respectfully and earnestly: "Greetings, Grandmother. How are you?"

The two children are twins, a boy and a girl. The girl was born earlier than the boy. The girl is the third child and the boy is the fourth child. He is two months younger than Ming Yansheng, the third child of the Ming family.

Yuan Yuhe also responded, put the little granddaughter down, and patted her head gently: "Go play with your brothers and sisters."

Ming Yuying tilted his head and felt that they looked familiar, but he couldn't tell who they were.

Ming Yuhan pointed at them and said, "Sister, this is the third sister, and this is the fourth brother."

"Sister~Brother~"

"Fifth sister." The two children came over and greeted her, and the four children went to play aside.

Yuan Yuhe talked to the Fifth Young Master's wife for a while, and then saw Ming Yanxi coming out with his three younger brothers.

"Grandma/great aunt, Fifth Aunt." Several children came over and asked, then went to play.

When Qiao Ruoying came over, she saw the yard full of children and said with a smile, "I was wondering why the house was so quiet today. It turns out all the children are here."

"I came here to have lunch at noon and then stayed here for a nap. I just woke up not long ago." Yuan Yuhe replied.

"Second Aunt." The Fifth Young Master's wife asked.

Qiao Ruoying nodded.

Hearing Qiao Ruoying's voice, Ming Yuying, who was busy "planting flowers", raised his head, ran towards her, hugged her legs, and shouted with his head raised: "Grandma~"

Qiao Ruoying lowered her head, smiled, picked her up, and wiped the mud off her face with a handkerchief. "Hey, where did this little cat come from?"

"It's Xiaoying!" She pouted.

"Okay, okay, it's not Little Cat, it's Xiaoying."

Yuan Yuhe: "She saw the flowers on the flower stand and came up with an idea. I asked someone to dig up some pots of mud and cut some branches, and then the sisters started planting."

"Plant flowers for grandma~" the little guy muttered to her.

"Okay, grandma, put the flowers Xiaoying'er planted for you in the house so you can look at them every day." Yuan Yuhe laughed and handed her a glass of water. "You've been planting flowers for so long, you must be thirsty, right? Come and have a drink."

The little girl leaned over and gulped down the water.

After playing coquettishly in his great aunt's arms for a while, the little one ran off to play with his brothers and sisters.

Qiao Ruoying took a sip of tea and asked with a smile, "Are Zhaohuan and Li'er not at home today?"

"Xi'er said they left the house. Qing'er and Yun'er are probably still in their own courtyard."

Qiao Ruoying was happy to hear this, "He'er and the others went out today as well. They sent Yang'er and Yi'er to my place early in the morning. The two little ones played for a while and then said they were going to go play with Xi'er and the others."

The two sisters-in-law chatted and occasionally glanced at their grandchildren playing not far away.

As the sun was setting in the west, Shi Jianli and Mingzhao walked hand in hand into Qionghua Courtyard and greeted their two elders.

"Mother, aunt/second aunt."

"Now that we're back, let's pack up and go to your grandmother's place." Yuan Yuhe stood up and said.

The little girl, who was being held in her brother's arms and watching her older siblings playing the promotion game, looked up and saw her parents, then crawled out of her brother's arms and ran towards them.

Shi Jianli saw her daughter running over and bent down to hold her in her arms, "Baby, there's no rush."

The little girl rubbed her head against her neck, saying in a cute voice: "Mommy~ I miss you~"
