Shi Jianli shook her head, "No, I stopped feeling dizzy after getting off the pleasure boat."

Mingzhao put the book down, turned sideways and lifted her from the bed into his arms. He poured a cup of warm water from the kettle on the bedside table and handed it to her. "Awake, when did you take your nap today?"
"Noon." Shi Jianli drank two sips of water from his hand.
Hearing this, he became a little worried: "I slept for a long time today. Do you want to ask the court doctor to come and check it out?"
"No need." He was still feeling a little lazy after just waking up. Shi Jianli rested her forehead on his shoulder, then slightly tilted her head to look at his expression. The corners of her lips curled up, and she poked his chin with her finger.

He paused, then took her hand in his palm again, his face showing a mixture of joy and worry. "Are you feeling unwell? Is the reason you slept so long today because you're pregnant?"
"Maybe. The court doctor said that pregnancy can cause drowsiness." Shi Jianli held his finger. "I'm not feeling unwell. It's just that today, when we went boating on the lake, I felt dizzy shortly after boarding the pleasure boat. The court doctor took my pulse and found out I'm two months pregnant."

Mingzhao kissed her cheek again and said, "I'll ask the court doctor what I should pay attention to on a daily basis."
Shi Jianli's eyebrows curved: "You can ask Lanxing and Xianyue, they have memorized it."
"Okay." He held her tightly. "I heard you need to be more careful in the first three months. So, can we not go to the villa on holidays for now? I'll go with you to escape the summer heat in July."
"Yeah." She cupped his face with her hands, "Jingyao, are you unhappy?"
"I'm happy." Mingzhao even tilted his head and kissed the palm of her hand. "But I'm more worried about your health. Are you really not feeling unwell?"
"No."
"That's good." He finally smiled. "Yaoyao, what do you want to eat? Ask the kitchen to make your favorite. Do you want something sour?"
Shi Jianli thought about it seriously and said, "I want something spicy."
Mingzhao also took the illustrated cookbook beside the bed and said, "Put this menu here. Are you thinking about what to eat for dinner before taking a nap?"

Mingzhao's eyes were still gentle. He hugged her, let her go, and helped her put on her coat. "You must be tired after sleeping for so long. Let me accompany you for a walk in the yard."

He took her hand and sat her down at the dressing table. Mingzhao stood behind her and helped her to simply tie her hair up loosely and pin it with a plain hairpin.
After watching her maids tie her hair for three months, he more or less learned how to do it.

Shi Jianli nodded, pulled him out of the bedroom, and walked around the yard twice.
