Xu Di followed the personal guard on horseback to the barracks. From the outside, it looked no different from usual. However, when the guard led him to a room next to the training room, and he saw two people tied up with ropes inside, Xu Di's expression changed.

Zheng Boyuan nodded repeatedly. The scholar and the man beside him looked somewhat horrified after hearing Xu Di's words, probably because they hadn't expected there to be such a ruthless person as Xu Di.
After the two men finished searching them, they put on the prison uniforms that Xu Di had brought them. Xu Di then took out a packet of powder from his pocket and said to Zheng Boyuan, "Dissolve this in boiling water and force it down their throats."
When the scholar saw the packet of medicine powder, he couldn't hold back any longer. His face turned pale, and he said, "Lord Xu, why are you doing this?"
Xu Di smiled and said, "These are some medicines that make people feel weak and sore, with no side effects. When I stop giving them to you, you'll be fine after eating well for a couple of days.
