Chapter 53 Come here, give me a hug
Qu Tao opened the sliding door and made a gesture of invitation to Xi's father. Xi's father was obviously very interested in what he had just said, and stood there without any intention of leaving.
"Are you really not going to ask?"
"Yes, I'm not going to ask."
Qu Tao finished speaking and walked out with a smug look on his face. Xi Mozhou was sitting on the sofa in the living room. When he saw him come out, he scolded the golden retriever next to him again.
"For the last time, don't deliberately scare people again," Xi Mozhou pointed his finger at Qu Tao, "especially him. If you make him angry, I can't protect you, and I will also be implicated by you. Do you understand?"
"If you understand, then stretch out your right hand and shake hands with Brother Taotao."
Qu Tao had heard that the golden retriever was smart, but what he saw with his own eyes was different. The big golden retriever, who had been scolded, looked at him like a wronged furry child and slowly stretched out his right paw.
The expression of lowering eyebrows and eyes made Qu Tao want to laugh. He took two steps at a time, hid behind Xi Mozhou, and shook hands with it. x
"Okay, brother forgives you. Listen to me in the future. Brother promises that you will have meat every meal."
Hearing about meat, the big golden retriever opened its mouth uncontrollably and groaned again. Seeing Xi Mozhou's warning eyes, it closed its mouth as if it understood.
It can understand human words and eyes. Qu Tao put away his previous fear of it and pointed in the direction of the restaurant.
"Okay, let's go. Brother will take you to eat meat now."
At the dinner table, Xi's father chatted about this and that for a few sentences, and finally put the topic back to the main topic of calling them back.
"You two have been together for quite some time. Have you decided when to get the marriage certificate?"
Xi Mozhou didn't want to talk to his father at all. He just buried
his head in his food as if he didn't hear anything. Qu Tao kicked him from under the table and spoke in revenge.
"Father Xi, you misunderstood. We are just ordinary friends. We won't get married."
"Ordinary friends in your family sleep in the same quilt?"
Xi Mozhou was in a hurry. The rice grains that he had not chewed in his mouth were sprayed out. Qu Tao rolled his eyes at him and took a tissue and handed it to him.
"Aren't you deaf? Are we talking?"
"Just because I don't talk doesn't mean I can't hear."
"You can hear it or not, but I won't marry you."
"You dare."
Father Xi looked at his anxious son. He was very happy in his heart, but his face remained calm.
"Okay, Tao Tao is joking with you, look how anxious you are, you two are free, hurry up and set a date, if you don't have time, I will take care of it."
"Uncle, he always bullies me and messes up my company, I don't want to marry him."
"Mess up your company? There is such a thing?"
Father Xi pretended not to know, with a surprised expression, Qu Tao nodded very aggrievedly.
"Well, I'm almost bankrupted by him."
"He's such a jerk, let's observe him for a while."
This old man... It's better to come back less often in the future.
Xi Mozhou looked at him with cold eyes and took a mouthful of rice in the bowl.
"Isn't it said that you should not talk while eating and sleep, aren't you talking too much?"
After dinner, Qu Tao didn't play chess with the old man anymore, but took the initiative to suggest going to Xi Mozhou's bedroom.
Xi Mozhou had been eager to be alone with him for a long time, and even the golden retriever who followed them and was about to climb the stairs was glared back by him.
"I'll give you another rule. When we are together, you stay away."
The bedroom on the second floor had light gray wallpaper and black and white furnishings. Qu Tao recognized it at a glance. This was Xi Mozhou's style.
Qu Tao paced around the room and his eyes fell on the photo frame on the bedside table.
Xi Mozhou in the photo was still very young, looking like he was fourteen or fifteen years old, and somewhat similar to the young woman next to him.
"Is this my aunt?"
Qu Tao pointed to the photo frame in his hand and looked at Xi Mozhou. Someone's bright eyes dimmed in an instant.
"Yeah."
Xi Mozhou walked over, took the photo frame in his hand, and put it in the drawer of the bedside table.
Qu Tao had lost a loved one before, so he understood his feelings. Every time he saw photos of his parents and grandfather, even though he missed them so much, he only dared to look at them once, and never looked at them again.
"Why did you leave? Were you sick?"
"No." Xi Mozhou glanced at him, looked away without focus, and uttered two words with great difficulty, "Car accident."
What a coincidence, it was also a car accident?
Qu Tao was surprised for a few seconds, and looked at him, who was still holding out his hands with sad eyes even though he tried his best to hide it.
"Come here, hug me."
There are many ways for relatives to leave, but in Qu Tao's view, only car accidents are the most heartbreaking, and at the same time give rise to many regrets.
Perhaps because his parents left him in this way, he would think so.
They were happily talking and laughing one second ago, but they were separated forever the next second, without even a final goodbye.
Feeling the sadness of the man in his arms, Qu Tao raised his head, his eyes flowing, tender and seductive.
"How about... let you kiss me?"
"Kiss me."
"You're getting too far..."
Qu Tao glared at him in reproach and stood on tiptoe.
A very light kiss, slowly going deeper, Xi Mozhou's hands on his back kept tightening.
In the air, breathing became increasingly rapid, and the previous sadness was replaced by silent ambiguity.
"Taotao, shall we go home?"
Xi Mozhou let him go, his eyes red, his voice hoarse, and restrained.
Qu Tao was rarely obedient: "Okay."
After coming down from the second floor, Xi Mozhou held Qu Tao's hand and ran straight to the door of the hall. The old man chased him out of the glass house.
"Are you ready to leave? It's windy outside, why don't you stay here tonight?"
"No need."
Xi Mozhou's tone was cold and hard, and Qu Tao smiled awkwardly at Xi's father.
"Uncle, tomorrow is Monday, and I have a lot of work to do. Let's wait until next time."
"Okay, then don't forget to bring Taozi back."
Along the way, Xi Mozhou drove very fast. Qu Tao glanced at the big golden retriever in the back seat and was a little speechless.
"Drive slower, I'm not running, don't make the dog in the back vomit."
"I'm afraid you'll regret it."
"No regrets, drive slower."
At Qinhai Villa, Xi Mozhou settled the dog. When he returned to the bedroom, Qu Tao had already taken a shower, put on a shirt, and came out of the cloakroom.
"Have you settled Azhou? It's a different environment, so it didn't bark, did it?"
Xi Mozhou didn't hear what he asked at all, let alone his address to the dog. He responded vaguely, his eyes fixed on his white and slender legs.
If these legs were wrapped around the waist..., Xi Mozhou swallowed his saliva uncontrollably when he saw the picture in his mind.
"Didn't I tell you to wait for me?"
"I don't know you yet. If two of us take a shower together, we won't be able to finish in the middle of the night. Okay, hurry up and take a shower." Qu Tao smiled, raised the corners of his eyes, and said seductively, "Hurry up and take a shower. I'll wait for you in bed."
It was rare for Qu Tao to take the initiative. Xi Mozhou took off his clothes and walked towards the bathroom.
"You agreed to wait for me in bed. You are not allowed to fall asleep, and you are not allowed to regret it."
"Got it, husband~~"
The soft voice seemed to overflow with water. Xi Mozhou gritted his teeth and rushed into the bathroom.
"Little fairy, wait... come out soon."
