Ye Xinning remained silent, only looking at Shen Lin.
Since marrying him, she has never said she loved him, nor has she ever directly expressed her feelings.
But she thought that if she paid more attention, she would be able to discover that she felt differently about him.

Upon hearing her admit that she didn't love him, Shen Lin's expression turned gloomy.
His hand remained on Ye Xinning's chin, but with even more force than before.
"You want to divorce me just for this man! Ye Xinning, how come I never knew you were such a devoted person?"

Perhaps it was the word "filthy" that provoked Shen Lin, because he suddenly leaned in and tried to bite her.
Ye Xinning couldn't dodge in time and was pushed down into his arms.

Shen Ting chimed in, "What Chi Zhao means is, when are you going to divorce your wife, brother?"
“I told you, I will not divorce her.”
"What about Jiang An?"
"This has nothing to do with Jiang An."
"..."
Chi Zhao gave Shen Lin a thumbs up.
"As expected, you're ruthless. She's pregnant, and you can say such things?"
"Which child do you think could be used as leverage by her?"
Chi Zhao replied without hesitation, "The Shen family doesn't care, and neither do you."
Chi Zhao was telling the truth. Shen Lin never cared about the child, and the Shen family cared even less.
"Now that you mention it, I just don't understand why you let Jiang An live in the riverside villa, and why you made such a big fuss about it, even letting Ye Xinning find out?"

Shen Lin glanced at him indifferently, "Go ahead and enjoy yourself."
After Shen Lin finished speaking, he got up and left.
Chi Zhao sat there, and for some reason, suddenly felt offended.
