She didn't move, stood at the door, and coughed once.

The call was from Xiao Chen. It was almost the end of the year, and Xiao Chen was calling, so there must be something he wanted to say. Ye Xinning calmed herself down and stopped arguing with Shen Lin.
He turned to leave.
But Shen Lin wouldn't let her leave no matter what he said, "Come home with me."
