The He family?
The He family is one of the most prominent families in Nancheng, so it's not surprising that Su Wanhui has a collaboration with them.
Are you alone at night?
"Yeah, I'm alone, so if you're bored, you can come with me."
Ye Xinning was still hesitating about whether to go with Su Wan when the phone rang.
The caller was Shen Lin, and Su Wan also saw her name on her phone screen.
"Answer it quickly."

After the call was answered, Shen Lin's voice came through, "What are you doing?"

Ye Xinning's heart trembled at those words. No matter how much time passed, the sweet words spoken by Shen Lin would still stir up endless waves in her heart.

"If only I could be with you every day and not have to deal with all this work, that would be wonderful."
Ye Xinning found it hard to believe that a workaholic like Shen Lin could say such a thing.
"Stop messing around, work is important, I'll wait for you at home."
There was a moment of silence on Shen Lin's end, then he suddenly said, "Ningning."

"Jiang An?"
Ye Xinning stared straight in that direction. Su Wan's words made the people over there look this way. In that instant, Ye Xinning's gaze collided with Shen Lin's gaze in mid-air.
She saw the surprise in Shen Lin's eyes, and also the panic that flashed in them.
He brushed Jiang An's hand away and strode towards her.
"Wanwan, let's go."
Ye Xinning finally found her voice. She held Su Wan's hand and said these words with an almost trembling voice.
Su Wan nodded and led Ye Xinning towards the garden outside.
But just as they stepped outside, Shen Lin caught up with them from behind.
"Ningning."
Su Wan looked at Shen Lin, stopped and blocked his way. "Shen Lin, how dare you chase after me? I'm asking you, what did that scene mean? Why did Jiang An appear with you, arm in arm?"
Ye Xinning didn't ask a single question, her back to Shen Lin. Su Wan knew she was upset, so she spoke up to ask for her.
Shen Lin stared intently at Ye Xinning. "Ningning, let me explain."
Ye Xinning didn't even turn her head. At this moment, her mind was in turmoil. The moment she saw Shen Lin and Jiang An appear, her mind went blank.
She doesn't want to hear anything right now; she just wants to be alone.
"Wanwan, I don't want to stay here, let's go."
"good."
Su Wan wanted to leave with Ye Xinning, but Shen Lin stepped forward and grabbed Ye Xinning's hand, saying, "I can explain."
Ye Xinning's movements were restricted by him. She lowered her head to compose herself, then looked up again, trying to keep her emotions from getting too bad.
"Fine, you want to explain? I'll listen to your explanation. Tell me, why did you say you were busy with work, but then you showed up with Jiang An? Why was Jiang An holding your hand? Why?"
