Ye Xinning frowned and got out of the car in a bad mood.
I thought to myself, how unlucky she is to encounter such a terrible thing so early in the morning.
She got out of the car, and the driver of the car behind her had already gotten out; she was an older woman, in her forties or fifties.
As soon as the woman got out of the car, she rushed to check it, saying with heartache, "My car! How did it get so badly damaged?"
Ye Xinning frowned. "Hello."
The woman still ignored her. "Why is she so annoying? I knew I shouldn't have gone out at this time. It's so annoying."

Ye Xinning laughed. The world is truly full of wonders; she had never seen anyone so self-righteous after a rear-end collision.
"Just file an insurance claim, whatever the amount is, is fine." Ye Xinning didn't want to argue with her so early in the morning.
She quickly took photos of the rear-end collision scene as evidence, and the woman became impatient when she saw this.
“I’m telling you, don’t even think about extorting me. My son is a lawyer. You can’t ask for a single extra penny.”
"What a coincidence, I happen to be a lawyer too." Ye Xinning said this with a forced smile, not even bothering to give a straight face, and then turned and left.

Because of the rear-end collision, Ye Xinning was already late when she arrived at the law firm.
She went inside, and Qin Yuchu was somewhat surprised to see her arrive so late. "Attorney Ye, are you only arriving now?"
Ye Xinning hummed in agreement, "There was a minor accident on the way."
"What minor accident?"
Rear-end collision.
Qin Yuchu nodded and asked a few more questions with concern, but Ye Xinning said it was nothing.
"That's good. Attorney Ye, please go back to your office. There's a surprise for you."
After saying this mysteriously, Qin Yuchu walked towards the tea room.
Ye Xinning stood there, still somewhat puzzled. What was that?
She walked into the office with a puzzled look in her eyes and immediately noticed the things on the desk.
She walked over, and there was a bouquet of flowers and a breakfast on the table.
Ye Xinning picked up the card that was placed on the flowers.
Good morning, Attorney Ye.
Signed: Cheng Yuhuai.
Ye Xinning looked at the bouquet of flowers and breakfast in front of her with mixed feelings, somewhat puzzled as to what Cheng Yuhuai was up to.
She has always been the type to ask whatever comes to mind, so since she wanted to know, she didn't speculate.
She put down her bag and turned to go to Cheng Yuhuai's office.
She knocked on the door. Cheng Yuhuai was on the phone. When he saw her knocking, he nodded to her, indicating that she should come in and wait a moment.
Ye Xinning originally wanted to leave, after all, it was inappropriate for her, a subordinate, to sit there and listen while Cheng Yuhuai was on the phone.
If Cheng and Huai asked her to wait, it would be somewhat inappropriate for her to leave afterward.
So Ye Xinning just sat there until Cheng Yuhuai hung up the phone.
"What's wrong? Is there something you need?" Cheng Yuhuai asked with his arms crossed and a friendly smile on his face.
Ye Xinning didn't beat around the bush and directly stated the purpose of her visit, "Director Cheng, what are the breakfast and flowers on the table for?"
Cheng Yuhuai said naturally, "The flowers are for you. I asked Attorney Qin, and she said that most girls like fresh flowers. As for breakfast, I also asked Attorney Qin. She said that you are often too busy with cases to eat breakfast, and it's not good to skip breakfast, so I bought you one according to my preferences. Try it first, and if you don't like it, I'll buy you something else later."

As for the child you mentioned, I met your daughter yesterday. She's very cute, and I like her very much. I believe my family won't mind this."
Ye Xinning stood there, stunned by Cheng Yuhuai's words. This was the first time someone had formally expressed their affection for her.
Her relationship with Shen Lin was natural and spontaneous.
Although Ji Jianshen had feelings for her, he never showed them over the years, always suppressing his love.
