"Still saying you didn't? I took the phone so you couldn't tell Huo Yanzhi, you must be feeling really uncomfortable about that."
Ye Xinning looked up at Shen Lin, her gaze even colder than before. "Shen Lin, don't assume everyone is like you. I've told you before that Huo Yanzhi and I have nothing between us, but you didn't believe me. Since you don't believe me, then just sign the divorce papers. Shen Lin gripped her shoulders, preventing her from moving, his tone icy, "You want me to divorce you? So you can be with Huo Yanzhi as you wish?"
He suddenly leaned closer, stared at her neck, and bit down. "Impossible, Ye Xinning. You can only be my wife for the rest of your life. Don't even think about anyone else."
Ye Xinning winced in pain and tried to push him away.
Shen Lin lifted her chin and kissed her deeply.
Shen Lin was completely out of control tonight. He seemed to have been provoked by Huo Yanzhi, or perhaps by Ye Xinning's constant mention of divorce.

Ye Xinning exclaimed, "What?"
"It's Aunt Xi's birthday, and we didn't prepare a gift, so I'll give you twenty minutes. I'll wait for you downstairs."
After Shen Lin left, Ye Xinning sat on the bed in frustration. She had been so busy with all sorts of things lately that she had completely forgotten that Xi Yuan's birthday was approaching.
After changing her clothes and quickly washing up, Ye Xinning went downstairs.
Downstairs, only Chen Lin was there. When she saw him, she was a little annoyed. "Why do I have to go with you to pick out a gift?"
"That's what Dad told me to do."
Ye Xinning gave a soft "oh," but had no choice but to go out with Shen Lin.

The two arrived at the mall. Shen went to park the car, while Ye Xinning stood by the roadside, waiting for him. She was getting impatient and was looking down at her phone when a cup of iced coffee was splashed on her.
Ye Xinning was soaked in coffee, her hair and clothes were covered in it. The weather was already cold, and after drinking a cup of coffee, she was completely drenched.
She looked at the culprit in front of her and never expected that she would run into Mu Yinjing just by going out for a stroll.
And is this woman insane?
To do such a thing to her in front of so many people.
"Ye Xinning, you shameless slut."
Mu Yinjing threw the coffee cup in his hand on the ground and walked towards her menacingly, ready to attack her.

Ye Xinning looked up and saw Shen Lin, without any surprise.
This is such a cliché plot.
He only arrived after she had already been splashed with water; what good did that do? If he had come even a little earlier, she wouldn't have had to suffer like this.
She didn't speak, but stepped back, waiting to see how Shen Lin would handle the matter.
Shen Lin doesn't love her, but that doesn't mean he can let others bully his nominal wife.
