Song Zhengchu said this with a smile. Ye Xinning didn't quite understand what he meant. Did he agree or disagree? What did he think of her decision?

"Dad, do you think my decision was right or wrong?"

When Song Zhengchu said something similar to what Ye Rouxin said, Ye Xinning felt a weight lifted from her heart.

"What did Dad say?"
Ye Xinning held her phone in one hand, her hair twirling in circles. "He didn't say anything, just... he said that if you ever wrong me, he'll deal with you like this or that."
"Really?" Shen Lin's lazy voice came from the phone.
Ye Xinning coughed somewhat awkwardly, "Hmm."

On the day they went to get their marriage certificate, Shen Lin came to pick her up early. He not only took her but also brought their two children along.
Ye Xinning didn't understand, so Shen Lin leaned close to her ear and said gently, "Let the two children witness our happiness."
"This is proof. What if you bully me in the future?"
"Those two children will become your helpers."
Ye Xinning smiled softly.
Shen Lin held her hand tightly, as if to express his deep love for her in this way.

After receiving their marriage certificates, Shen Lin led them back to the villa on the hillside.
This was Ye Xinning's first time visiting this place. She thought of the Ming Mansion from back then. After she burned down the Ming Mansion, Shen Lin had been living here ever since.
Both of them have jobs, so it's not realistic for them to take care of two children. Therefore, arrangements have already been made for a whole range of people, including childcare, cooking, and so on.
