On the second floor, the entire bridal shop was empty except for Su Xiangsi, who was sitting on the sofa, flipping through a magazine.
Upon seeing her arrive, Su Xiangsi stood up and called out to her, "Sister Xinning."
Ye Xinning nodded to the staff and then walked towards Su Xiangsi.
"You've come too."
"Yeah, Nanxing was bored by herself, so she asked me to come over and give her some advice."
Ye Xinning pointed to the sofa and said to Su Xiangsi, "Let's sit down and talk. You're pregnant now, so things aren't the same as before."
Su Xiangsi nodded and sat down with Ye Xinning, and the two chatted casually.
A short while later, Shen Nanxing came out after changing into her wedding dress.
Ye Xinning and Su Xiangsi both looked at her.
The wedding dress that Shen Nanxing wore was designed to resemble a flower bud. Ye Xinning and Su Xiangsi looked at each other and both smiled.
"You're here, so we're leaving." Ye Xinning took Su Xiangsi's arm and prepared to leave.
Just then, a male voice came from outside the door, "Where are you going?"
Ye Xinning looked toward the source of the sound and saw the two brothers, Shen Ting and Shen Lin, standing before him. It was Shen Ting who had asked the question just now.
Well, I was thinking she was going to leave with Su Xiangsi, but it seems I was wrong.
Shen Lin came to her side and took her hand.
"Have you been waiting long?"
Ye Xinning shook her head and said, "No, Nanxing just finished trying on her wedding dress a little while ago."
"Okay, I'll take you out to eat."
After Shen Lin finished speaking, he took her hand and prepared to leave.
Everyone here was in pairs, so Ye Xinning didn't say anything, just greeted them and left with Shen Lin.
After having dinner with Shen Lin, we went home together.
Ye Xinning sat in the passenger seat and kept talking to Shen Lin about Shen Nanxing.
"Has Zhou Jiamu been good to Nanxing during these four years?"
"Yes, very good."
"Would you like him to be your brother-in-law?"
"It has nothing to do with me." Shen Lin held her hand, the warmth of her palm. "The only thing that matters to me is you."
Ye Xinning was moved and looked at Shen Lin.
"Are you really not bothered? Actually, I'm quite curious. Compared to Zhou Jiamu, you'd rather Chi Zhao be with Nanxing, right?"
“I’m not Shen Nanxing. Who she wants to be with is her business.”
"You and Chi Zhao are so close, aren't you afraid that saying such things will strain your brotherhood with Chi Zhao?"
"He and Shen Nanxing have come to this point, and he bears a lot of responsibility for it himself. He can't blame anyone else."
Since Shen Lin had already said that, what else could Ye Xinning say? She could only smile.
As Shen Lin drove, Ye Xinning assumed they were going home, but unexpectedly, the man eventually parked the car downstairs at the apartment building where they first met.
Ye Xinning looked at the familiar yet unfamiliar place outside, and looked at Shen Lin with surprise, her eyes questioning why he had driven the car here.
Shen Lin didn't say anything, he just helped her unbuckle her seatbelt.
"Get off the bus."
Ye Xinning got out of the car with him, and Shen Lin held her hand as they walked inside.
Seeing how familiar he was with the man, Ye Xinning guessed.
"Do you come here often?"
Shen Lin neither admitted nor denied it.
Ye Xinning knew then that she had guessed correctly.
She couldn't quite understand, "I've already left, what are you doing here? Looking at all these memories of the past, don't you feel sad?"
Shen Lin had already opened the door, and the layout inside was exactly the same as before, without any changes.
Looking at these familiar scenes, Ye Xinning's memories returned to many years ago.
She had just met Shen Lin. At that time, she didn't know that Shen Lin was the eldest young master of the Shen family, and Shen Lin didn't know that she was from the Ye family.
