Jenny: "She left angrily, and I felt terrible when I saw her back. But then I saw you, and your smile touched me. Only you and my mom deserve to eat my peanut butter."
Anning: "I was so rude, Jenny."
Jenny: "No, no, no, you're too polite. I like your politeness."
An Ning: "Hehe, Jenny, why don't you like the girl you went on a blind date with?"
Jenny: "Because she just threw away the cherry on top of her ice cream."
An Ning: "Is this your reason for not liking her?"
Jenny: "Yes. And she never smiles; her gloomy face makes me uncomfortable."
Anning: "Jenny, you can't understand a person just by looking at their appearance. You also need to try to understand them by doing something on their own. Maybe she's allergic to cherries, or she doesn't like the taste of cherries. You don't like mangoes either, do you?"
Jenny: "I don't like her, I can't love her, it's that simple."
Anning: "Oh, that makes sense then. Hehe, it's okay. I'll introduce you to someone suitable in the future. You'll find someone who loves you and whom you love."
Jenny: "Anning, I know I'm not good enough for you."
Anning: "Jenny, we're very good friends. I like you a lot, but my feelings for you are the kind of liking you have for a friend, not the kind of liking I would have for a partner. Do you understand me?"
Jenny: "I understand you. Let's not talk about partners. I'll show you a magic trick."
An Ning: "Okay."
Anning watched with delight as Jenny performed a magic trick for her. Jenny used to be a chef at New York University, and he and Anning met when they were in college. Under her guidance, Jenny is now a well-known pastry chef in New York City, known as Master Jenny. Jenny likes Anning very much, liking her playful cuteness. However, he knows about the difference in their appearances, so he hides his feelings and believes in Anning in his heart. After learning about Anning's situation, he volunteered to work at the pastry shop that Anning runs in the courtyard. Anning felt that Jenny's pastry shop was a waste of his talents and advised him to develop his career elsewhere, but Jenny refused to listen. He would only leave when he saw Anning's true happiness.
When Han Yi came back from the restroom, she saw that Jack had left. An Ning and Jenny shook their heads, laughing so happily. Han Yi walked over, and Jenny greeted her politely.
Jenny: "Aunt Han Yi."
Han Yi: "Jenny, what are you doing here!"
Jenny: "I happened to see Anning. I have to go now. Goodbye, Anning."
Jenny saw Han Yi shyly run away, and An Ning smiled as she watched his retreating figure. Han Yi shook his head; this girl, she doesn't talk about serious relationships, she just likes to talk about bread with the pastry chef. Upon learning that Jack had very gentlemanly paid and left, Han Yi couldn't help but scold An Ning.
