Chapter 131 A Childish Competition

On Mount Mousse, Anning, Lucy, and Lyra clinked glasses and chatted in the gazebo. Thunder and Joyce went to the restroom and, after taking their pants off, concluded that they were evenly matched. Unwilling to admit defeat, they went back to their respective wives to discuss who was better.

Thunder put his arm around Anning, and Joyce put her arm around Lucy. The two of them said in unison, "Isn't your husband amazing?"

Anning/Lucy asked in confusion, "What?"

Joyce/Thunder: "I've met my match. This is the first time I've met my match in 26 years."

An Ning: "Thunder? Don't bully Joyce, he can't beat you."

Lucy: "Joyce, don't use your royal status to bully people."

Thunder/Joyce: "I wasn't bullying him, it was about self-respect, a man's self-respect. Wife, tell me, am I great?"

Anning and Lucy blushed and lowered their heads, unsure how to answer.

Lyra: "Gentlemen, please look, there are two little children next to us. Don't let your competition startle them."

Joyce: "Oh, my Rabelle, don't get so close to Noah."

Thunder: "Noah, come here, I'll hold you."

With Lyra's help, Thunder and Joyce Ken let go of Anning and Lucy, picked up the two little babies, and glared at each other defiantly.

Joyce: "I must have a contest with you to see who is better."

Thunder: "I'm ready anytime, and I'll make you submit."

An Ning: "Oh my god, you two are so childish."

Lucy: "It couldn't be more childish."

Joyce/Thunder: "My male pride prevents me from bowing my head."

Lyra: "Haha, Noah, come here, Mommy will carry you to get some snacks. Lucy, carry Labelle and come along too."

Lucy: "Okay, baby, Mommy will take you to get some snacks."

Lucy and Lyra took the two babies away. Joyce and Thunder's competition continued, and the discussion was intense. Anning walked out of the pavilion and sighed. She saw a man carrying a wine glass coming towards her. Anning got up to greet him.

Anning: "Xixi Dili".

Xixi Dili: "Anning, your floral dress looks really pretty today."

Anning and Xixidili clinked glasses, and a waiter brought chairs. The two sat down and talked not far from the pavilion.

Xixi Dili: "Anning, is that your husband? He's quite handsome."

Anning: "Yes, it's fate's arrangement; we can't be separated."

Cici Dili: "You two look like a perfect match. What are he and Joyce saying with such red faces and heated words?"

Anning: "They're talking about some men's topics. Never mind them. Xixi Dili, I'm so happy to see you. I have so much to say to you, but I don't know how to start."

Xixi Dili: "Anning, you've rejected my invitation for three years now. Would you really reject the dessert team for this man?"

Anning: "Xixi Dili, I'm sorry for declining the invitation from the Dim Sum team. The influence of capital over the past three years has made it impossible for me to progress alongside you."

Sisidi: "I understand. Come on, cheers."

An Ning: "Cheers..."

Xi Xidili: "Do you have any interesting or unusual stories to share with me from your two years in China? I have fifteen minutes to talk to you."

Anning: "Yes, there are many..."

The waiter served Anning desserts and chocolates. Anning chatted with Xixi Dili about what she had seen and heard in China over the past three years. Lei Ting noticed that Anning was talking to someone in front of him and seemed very happy. Joyce told Lei Ting that this was Xixi Dili, the founder of the dessert team. Lei Ting felt relieved and continued his competition with Joyce.

Lucy and Lelanoa, carrying Rabel, brought over some snacks and sat down next to Anning and Cisidili. Cisidili's break time was over, and he tactfully shook hands with Anning, taking his wine glass to the underground snack kitchen. After Cisidili left, Anyang sat down next to Anning with a salad. Chiriel and Councilor Zeus also came over; Chiriel clinked glasses with Anning, while Councilor Zeus chatted with Lela.

Lyra: "Councilor Zeus, why isn't your granddaughter Charlotte here...?"

Zeus: "She has a cold and is resting at home. I have brought her words to Noah. Noah, Charlotte wants me to tell you that she will marry no one but you."

Noah: "No, I want Rabelle. I don't like Charlotte. Please have Councilor Zeus tell her not to make a move on me."

Leila: "Noah, don't speak so rudely."

Chiriel: "Noah, can you tell me why you like Rabelle?"

Noah: "I really like Rabeel's cute eyes. I am the Prince of the Northern Patriotic Wine, and Rabeel is a member of the royal family. We are a perfect match."

Anning: "Noah, hurry up and go to Uncle Thunder's with Rabeel. He has delicious birch sap. Go quickly."

Anning took Labelle and Noah and led them to Thunder. Thunder took Noah, and Joyce took Labelle. The two men's struggle didn't affect the two little children. Noah fed Labelle birch sap, and Labelle was amazed by the sweet taste, her eyes wide with curiosity. Noah became even more fascinated by her, and Qilier witnessed all of this.

Zeus: "After Lyra, Chiriel and Prince Shoya got married, I've always wanted to have another happy event in my family. I wonder if you would be willing to let Noah and Charlotte get engaged."

With Anning's reminder, Lyra was much more cautious in her answer to Senator Zeus. Lyra smiled and said to Senator Zeus, "As Noah's mother, I must respect him and cannot make decisions for him. You just saw Noah's attitude. I cannot decide this. Thank you, Senator Zeus and Miss Charlotte, for Noah's kindness."

Upon hearing Lyra's answer, Chiriel replied coldly, "Lyra, is it because Labelle is royalty that you're refusing us?"
