Anning: "You can't find it... forget it!"
Anyang: "How do you know I can't find it? Tell me!"
Anning: "Waaah... I don't like premarital sex. Where can you find men like that these days!"
An Yang: "This...this...sis, you're not still a virgin...?"
Anning: "Of course, I'm not that kind of person... Let me tell you, you're not allowed to have this kind of relationship with other people outside, it's not good, understand?"
An Yang: "I don't need you to worry about this... Um... Okay, you eat first, waiter, bring some fruit."
Lei Ting took a deep breath. Such a pure girl should be a treasure, and he had just ruined her so easily. An Ning had eaten a lot and was staring out the window in a daze. The waiter brought her a glass of juice. An Yang drank the juice with his eyes crossed, which made An Ning laugh.
An Ning: "Hahaha, you're cross-eyed again, don't do that, it's too funny... haha..."
An Yang: "As long as you're happy, I'll do whatever you want, little brother..."
An Ning: "Haha..."
Anning Leiting, who had been so carefree and easygoing, hadn't seen the dignified and reserved girl he once said he liked for a long time. So Anning put away her little temper and her little actions, trying her best to be a dignified person. Gradually, Anning lost herself and a lot of happiness.
Waiter: "Beautiful lady, your favorite music has started playing."
An Ning: "Thanks, hehe, bro, do you know anyone named Lei Ting?"
An Ning took a sip of juice and asked An Yang if he knew someone named Lei Ting. An Yang immediately became serious, his playful demeanor vanishing as he looked at An Ning with a stern expression and asked, "Who is Lei Ting?"
Anning: "I don't know either. That day, customer service said someone had complained. I called, and he lowered his voice and said something like, 'It's me...' I was wondering who it was! So I spoke to him in Mandarin, 'Who are you? Are you complaining that the bread is bad?' He said very urgently, 'I'm Leiting!' Before I could hear what he said next, my mom snatched the phone away. She said it was my dad's competitor. Later, when I looked for that number, I couldn't find it."
An Yang: "Ah! Then he might really be Dad's competitor."
An Ning: "But why do you have that expression? It's like you can't mention this person."
Anyang: "Of course you can raise it! Just don't overwork yourself. If you have a complaint, let them contact customer service. Don't handle it yourself. You're the bread king now, you need to be more sophisticated."
Anning: "Okay... It's really delicious. I'll make sure you come out for late-night snacks with me often from now on. I'm so happy."
Anyang: "As long as you're happy and joyful, we're fine with anything. Let's have a drink."
An Ning: "Cheers."
It wasn't that she hadn't recognized Lei Ting's voice; she had genuinely forgotten he existed. Seeing An Yang's sensitivity to the name, Lei Ting knew that winning An Ning back wouldn't be easy. Seeing An Ning elegantly raise her glass, Lei Ting wanted to rush over and embrace her, to pour out his heart about the past six months of longing and his regret. An Yang still felt someone was watching them. Turning around, she saw that Lei Ting hadn't looked down; instead, he met An Yang's gaze. After An Yang confirmed it several times, Lei Ting simply took off his mask. An Yang's eyes widened, and she immediately stood up, startling An Ning, who was admiring the scenery across the way.
Anning: "Ah! What's wrong!"
Realizing that Anning was still eating, Anyang suppressed his anger and turned to the gentle Anning, saying that it was nothing, his legs were numb. Anning laughed at him for still being the same as when he was a child. Anning looked at his older sister's smile, then at Leiting's face, and the veins on his face bulged with suppressed anger.
If An Ning hadn't been sitting there, An Yang would have already grabbed Lei Ting by the neck and given him a beating. An Yang ordered champagne and wondered what to do. Lei Ting was still staring at them. An Yang drank a large glass of champagne before he could barely suppress his anger. This wasn't going to work. This guy had come again. He didn't know what his purpose was. He couldn't be violent in front of An Ning. An Yang was restless.
An Ning: "Brother..."
Anyang: "Ah!"
Anning: "What's wrong with you? What are you thinking about!"
Anyang: "I'm full, let's go home!"
Anning: "Okay, I'm going to the restroom."
Anyang: "I'll go too."
An Yang stayed close to An Ning, and Lei Ting followed. He intended to wait for An Ning to come out of the door, but An Yang pushed him into the men's restroom. Sure enough, as soon as he entered the restroom, he was punched hard by An Yang. An Yang wasn't as tall as Lei Ting, but he still grabbed Lei Ting by the neck and glared at him fiercely, cursing him.
An Yang: "Damn, you actually dared to come! Aren't you afraid of dying?!"
Thunder: "You can hit me however you want, just let me say a few words to your sister."
An Yang: "How can you be so shameless! Get out of here, or I'll have someone kill you..."
An Ning came out of the restroom and heard a commotion in the men's room. She asked outside the door, and Lei Ting immediately tried to leave, but An Yang quickly covered his mouth.
An Ning: "An Yang, what are you doing..."
Anyang: "Ah! Sis, I can't pee, I'm so angry!"
Anning: "I'll go outside and wait for you! Hurry up!"
Anyang: "Hey sis, don't go too far, I'm afraid of the dark..."
An Ning: "I know... You're a grown man and you're still afraid of the dark."
Anyang: "Hehe..."
Lei Ting tried to leave through the toilet door, but An Yang held him tightly, using all her strength to cover Lei Ting's mouth.
An Yang: "Shut up, you son of a bitch."
An Yang punched Lei Ting twice, and Lei Ting took the punches, repeating the same words.
Thunder: "Let me see your sister."
An Yang: "Didn't you just see? She doesn't remember you. Get out of here! If you dare show your face in front of us again, we'll really beat you to death."
