Lei Ting placed the ring on the table, cupped An Ning's face in his hands, and An Ning didn't say anything, her head swaying slightly. Lei Ting touched her forehead; it was slightly warm.
Thunder: "Anning, are you sleepy?"
An Ning: "Yeah, a little."
Thunder: "Let's go to sleep."
Lei Ting knelt, wanting to stand up and carry An Ning to bed, but An Ning pressed him down. Lei Ting released his grip on An Ning's waist, but An Ning still wouldn't let go. Lei Ting didn't know what An Ning wanted to do. An Ning's throat was slightly dry, and she squeezed out two words from her heart.
Thunder: "An Ning, what's wrong?"
Anning: "The ring..."
When Lei Ting heard An Ning mention the ring, he was overjoyed. He was kneeling in front of An Ning, but he immediately picked up the ring, knelt on one knee, and solemnly proposed to her again.
An Ning: "No, don't say anything, don't say anything at all, I..."

Leiting didn't dare delay for a moment, afraid Anning would change her mind, and immediately returned the ring to Anning's ring finger. Anning took his ring and placed it on his ring finger. Leiting looked at the two rings returned to their rightful owners, his heart pounding like the rain outside. His breathing became rapid. Anning was somewhat frightened and immediately pulled him up.
Anning: "You...you go take a shower...I'm going to sleep...you should go to sleep early too. Goodnight."
Anning darted upstairs to her room, scattering countless flower petals in her wake. Lei Ting was overjoyed, casually tossing a handful of petals into the air. He unbuttoned his clothes and rushed to the bathroom, scrubbing his face vigorously, his lips curling into an uncontrollable smile. His manhood, too, was already curling in the same way. Lei Ting washed himself very carefully, constantly telling himself to calm down. The icy water evaporated instantly upon hitting his body. After a moment, Lei Ting calmed down, his body radiating warmth after the shower. He dried himself off without needing a towel.
After taking a shower, Lei Ting put on a black silk bathrobe with a bow tied at the waist. The smooth bathrobe, the romantic and cozy room, and the peacefulness of the sleeping person inside greatly increased Lei Ting's sense of happiness. In the living room, just as Lei Ting was about to go upstairs to sleep, Liao Qian called.
Liao Qian: "I knew you weren't asleep..."
Thunder: "What's wrong? What's going on in the middle of the night...?"
Liao Qian: "An Yang called me because he was worried and told me to keep an eye on you. You didn't go to An's house to sleep, did you?"
Thunder: "No, don't worry, I'm at your house. I'm hanging up now! I'm going to sleep..."
Liao Qian: "Okay, let's go to sleep!"
Lei Ting hung up the phone with Liao Qian. He hadn't gone to the An family's house, but An Ning was here with him! She was sleeping in her room upstairs. Leiting needed to distract himself, so he closed his eyes and thought, "I should deal with my work first!"
Lei Ting: "Guo Fan, how many files have accumulated? Send them over so I can take a look..."
Guo Fan: "President Lei, Chairman Lei is stationed at the company, and he's handled quite a few documents..."
Lei Ting: "That's good. Tell my dad not to overwork himself. I'll try to go back as soon as possible."
Guo Fan: "President Lei, wait a moment. Chairman Lei said that you called him so he can speak with you. He has something to tell you."
Thunder: "Okay. I'll call him right away."
After hanging up with Guo Fan, Lei Ting called Lei Zhenyu.
Thunder: "Dad..."
