As they reached the courtyard gate, Liao Qian's driver was already waiting for them. Just as the two were about to approach, a large, dark-skinned man suddenly appeared and blocked their path. He then pulled An Ning, who was in Lei Ting's arms, towards him. Lei Ting tried to pull An Ning back, but Jenny, angry, pushed his hand away.
Thunder: "Jenny?"
Jenny: "Oh, get off me... don't touch my peace."
Anning: "Jenny, what's wrong?"
Anning tried to calm Jenny down. Jenny's rage was terrifying, so Anning quickly pulled him back. Jenny's emotions stabilized considerably. Jenny looked at Anning, then at Leiting, his expression complex.
Jenny: "Anning, why are you ruining yourself like this? This man is your ex-husband, isn't he?"
Anning: "Jenny...it's true he's my ex-husband, but he's changed. I've forgiven him."
Jenny: "I don't believe it, Thunder. You lied to me, you lied to Anning. I hate you... I won't let you near Anning."
Jenny pulled Anning behind him. Thunder was completely confused. Thunder had never lied to Jenny about anything, so why was Jenny looking at him with such a sad expression? At the courtyard gate, the three of them were engaged in a love triangle.
Thunder: "What...what did I lie to you about?!"
Anning: "Jenny, is there some misunderstanding between you and Thunder? He loves me very much."
Jenny looked at Anning, heartbroken. Anning spoke to him gently. Thunder was speechless. What was he doing, putting his wife behind him? Even three Annings wouldn't be as wide as him!
Thunder: "Jenny, what did I lie to you about? It's true that I'm Anning's ex-husband, but saying my name is Xiao Lei isn't lying to you either!"
Jenny: "You deceived my feelings."

Jenny pulled Anning towards the pastry shop. Anning quickly gestured for Leiting to follow. Leiting was speechless. When they arrived at the pastry shop, Anning led Jenny and Leiting straight to a private room and personally poured them flower tea. Jenny still looked sad when she looked at Leiting. Leiting finished his tea before speaking to Jenny. Anning suppressed a laugh. She knew Jenny was gay. Anning's mischievousness made her want to know how Leiting had won Jenny's heart.
Thunder: "Jenny, my feelings for Anning are genuine. Look into my eyes, that's my sincerity towards Anning."
Jenny: "But you hurt her before."
Thunder: "I will never let her suffer any more grievances in the future, Jenny. You'll understand how I feel once you're in a relationship."
Jenny: "You broke my heart, and I won't be dating for a while."
Thunder was speechless. What did this mean? A whole bunch of thoughts raced through Thunder's mind. He looked to Anning for help, but Anning was smiling as she sipped her tea. Thunder was very anxious. Anning put down her teacup and started talking to Jenny.
Anning: "Jenny, there's a misunderstanding here. Thunder is my husband's. Can you tell me how he hurt you? I'll teach him a lesson for you."
Jenny: "Okay, Thunder always puts on a sentimental act in front of me and deliberately wiggles his butt in front of me. Thunder, you're playing with my feelings. And now you're playing with Anning. Get away from me."
Thunder: "What? You...I..."
This is practically torture! Thunder doesn't remember ever turning his back to Jenny. Besides, it doesn't prove anything! Anning was already covering her mouth and laughing. Thunder was furious and covered his face, not saying a word. Anning looked at Jenny, who was very sad.
Anning: "Jenny, you must have misunderstood something! Thunder isn't that kind of person..."
Jenny: "I didn't misunderstand him. Luckily, I didn't develop too many feelings for him. Anning, you can't, you can't face pain anymore."
Anning: "Jenny, Thunder treats me very well, and I'm very happy. He's the one I've chosen again, Jenny, and I hope you can give me your blessing."

Thunder almost lost his temper, stood up and pointed at Jenny. Jenny glared at him, insisting that he was right, and adjusted the shoulder straps of his overalls. Anning looked at Jenny and said seriously. Jenny stared at him with eyes full of tenderness.
Anning: "Jenny! Isn't today your turn to make apple pie for your mom? Make the apple pie and then go see your mom at noon, okay?"
Jenny: "I've already prepared the apple pie. I've been invited to bake desserts for New York University's anniversary celebration tonight. Anning, will you go?"
Anning: "I didn't want to go at first, but since you're making desserts, of course I'm going. Shall we dance together on the dance floor?"
Jenny: "Oh, my Anning, you're an angel. How can Thunder be worthy of you..."
