Chapter 61 Some Little Surprises

Jack: "You, you fickle woman..."

Before Jack could finish his word, Thunder picked up a glass of wine and splashed it on him, while Anning pulled him back from behind, trying to stop his impulse.

An Ning: "Thunder... never mind... let's go..."

Lei Ting: "Driver, protect An Ning. I need to take care of some men's business."

Thunder turned his neck, and Jack, who had been doused with wine, glared at him angrily. A sense of fear rose in Jack's eyes, and he swallowed hard. Meanwhile, some people who were watching the drama were cheering him on.

Passerby: "That's so cool! Does this person know Chinese kung fu? A duel, a duel, just like in the movies, a duel."

Passerby: "Jack, use your leopard-like hands to hammer him! Go, go, duel, duel!"

Jack had intended to humiliate them a few times and then slip away, but now he was caught in a bind. Thunder was glaring at him from in front, and behind him were familiar faces shouting "Duel! Thunder raised his left leg, and Jack's courage vanished instantly. His leopard-like fist became a life-saving shield for his head, and he was almost kneeling on the ground. Thunder's left leg circled around him, and with a single blow, a wooden square table next to Jack shattered into pieces in front of everyone. The air seemed to freeze. Anning also pushed the driver aside and hugged Thunder.

An Ning: "How are you, Lei Ting? Where did he hit you?"

Jack was still trembling in front of Thunder, his head in his hands. Thunder held Anning in his arms and spoke to the onlookers with an air of righteous indignation.

Thunder: "Chinese kung fu doesn't bully the weak, it only intimidates thieves."

After shouting that word in a Northeastern accent, a round of applause erupted from the crowd. Whether they were blond and blue-eyed or overseas Chinese, everyone praised Thunder's charm.

An Ning: "Lei Ting, how are you? Are you hurt?"

Thunder: "I'm fine, I didn't scare you, did I, baby!"

Lei Ting comforted An Ning in his arms, and he enjoyed An Ning's anxious expression.
